Don't waster your waste your money! CarShield made the decision to only replace one coil and leave the other damaged coils in my car until they "officially" malfunction even when car technicians disagreed and suggested replacing all. I have been paying into CarShield since June 2024 and when my car needed service CarShield let me down. The company literally planned to have me on the side of the road due to not paying for what was needed on covered services. Nobody called me to explain even when I asked multiple times to speak with the person who made the decision. I even escalated for the decision to be re-evaluated bc it was obvious to technicians that it wasn't if there would be a problem but when. My car stayed in the shop for 5 DAYS for something that took a few hours to complete, but waiting on CarShield took forever. I am a single female that drives very far to work daily. I am not trying to be freezing on the side of the road and I would expect the company that I pay into would care just as much due to the fact that I am a paying customer. In addition, part of your contract states that I need to provide suggested maintenance to my car based on needs. However, when a trained technician states that I need work done or parts replaced CarShield chooses to ignore it. This does not sit well with me. As a result, you have lost a customer for LIFE. I have nothing good to say to family members and friends that were interested in this company.

Completely misled. When I called to check on the repair that needed to be done I was told it was covered. After they spoke to the shop they decided it wasn't covered. 100% dissatisfied How does it go from being covered to not being covered

Well so far I'm satisfied but my car is still in the shop waiting for completion. I will say one thing and that is That Car Shield wouldn't fix some kind of Hose that deals with Ommisons or something and the Hose suppose to cost $450.00 that's why Car Shield wouldn't pay for it but we will see when my Cadillac is finished. My Discovery needed to have the water pump & thermostat replace. My mechanic placed a call to Car Shield, work was approved, Car Shield then arranged for a rental car. The car rental needed to be extended, and they coordinated that as well!

My recent experience with Car Shield was one of comfort and convenience. When my check engine light came on,my anxiety went through the roof because my first thought is always,"How much is this going to cost me?" I was so grateful that the repairs were covered under my warranty! Everyone needs such assurance.

My problem was compounded after a covered repair was performed, in that it created and/or exposed a 'consequential' and related issue associated with the repair; that was not covered. I don't understand why your company go to so much to find something in small print to deny a connected repair knowing that elderly customers don't normally or cannot, read small print.

Carshield tells us we can pick our own mechanic, but does not cover all their costs, I have had to pay more than my deductible due to low balling the mechanic... Carsheild did pay that part quickly though
