My overall experience with Car Shield is usually great however at this time, I'm still waiting for a response regarding their investigation on my account. Someone filed fraudulent claims under my account. None of the representatives can tell me anything. I've asked for a printout of all claims under my account and nobody seems to know how to access this information.

When I called car shield and told him what was going on and told him I had to cut car towed to my mechanic then my mechanic told me the motor was no good it blew and car shield was the best because they put up five grand and that helped me out a lot I appreciate it car shield you are the best

There were no repair shops around me so I had to get my car towed to Newton which is a ways away. I had to pay the tow truck driver $337 to get it there that's with my $125 help from carshield. Once there they did a diagnostic and they said it was a pressure hose. And car show said we don't cover that. So not only am I out the entire amount that I am supposed to pay to the mechanic shop I am also out the 337 I paid to the tow company. I have been a customer for longer than a year I've been paying $141 for longer than a year without any claims. I feel taken advantage of I am so unhappy I feel like screaming.

My experience was not good. My car was not cover under the repair need. There's was 2 times need repair and on the 2nd time I were told that my brakes was cover but when time came I was told that wasn't cover by car shield.

I have had my 2008 Lincoln Towncar covered by Car Shield for 2-3 years.
The AC failed during rush hour traffic in downtown Houston. I reached out the following morning and was confirmed on coverage and told to take it to mechanic of my choice. The repair shop worked with Car Shield and the next day I picked the car up with new major components in AC system. Invoice was over $1,300.00 My cost 100 bucks.
