I had to pay extra outa of my pocket,that car sheild wouldn't cover for my repairs. And they didn't inform me about it,before repairs were even started,so that I could get my car back.

I've been lucky (knock on wood) to not have to use my car shield policy. But it comforts me knowing that if something does happen. I have coverage for all the major components of my car

Title pretty much covers my experience. Car Shield wasn't there when needed. It is highly unlikely I will ever receive a portion of the premiums paid over the years.

Dropped car off, received rental, care was repaired. Received call when I could pick car up and what I owed. Car shield paid the rest. Happy with car shield.

I filed a claim on my vehicle. I was made to feel like it was my fault my vehicle broke down at least 3 times. I had to prove to the administrator that I had nothing to do with my car breaking down. The experience took at least a month and I still don't have my vehicle. I was told I couldn't get a rental vehicle because I had used all my funds for the claim. I canceled my policy and will never go back. Maybe I'll try Ensurance.

The mechanic still hasn't been paid for labor also you guys only paid 254 for the pump and he paid 295. I paid for the cluster. You guys owe the shop around 250 dollars.

I hope my review will be warning for people carshield it's BAD BAD company don't work with them because they are lier's and never stud what they say they are good to take your money telling you all kinds of lies that you can take your car any car service senter that they don't have any problems to fix your car if it broke but when you need to get your car fix then your problem start carshield will try to do anything to not paying for service if you don't believe just ask your car dealer they're will tell you I have 2014 Mercedes and I need to service my car and I take to Mercedes and when I tell them I have carshield they said they don't work with them because they never pay and when I call carshield they give me the pep boys address that carshield only works with them and when I getting contract with them they said they work with any service so like I said they are LIER'S so my car sitting in pep boys 25 days and it nothing have been done it's so sad that I have to give carshield a star for writing a review I would give them --0 star

My experience to date is setting up my warranty before my manufacturer's warranty expired. That was simple and free of pressure. I experienced one engine problem before my manufacturer's warranty expired (it would have cost more than $6,000), that convinced me that I needed to get coverage for anything major into the future. And there you were. The plan is clear and covers all the big problems that could occur.
