Just because my car is not driven much and even though I've had CarSheild for over six months, they denied my claim. They knew when I purchased my Platinum plan that the car was rarely driven. Now Carshield has denied my coverage.

Car shield sent me to a shop and got a diagnostic test done on my car and told the shop not to fix my because both problems was covered under a factory recall and the dealer fixed it free!

AC Compressor went out on our 2017 Equinox. Took it to the local dealer for repair. Car shield shipped in the replacement part which took longer than they said but overall satisfied with the results. Submitted my paid invoice for the rental car. Waiting for confirmation on reimbursement.

Almost 2 months ago I had transmission problems.you hual it to mr.transmission in Montgomery, al.you paid 3000 dollars I paid my part. I call carsheild I was told nothing you can do but take it back.I did so they came back with another diagnose said it was computer after the in stall the computer they call me and said carsheild send a bad transmission. So on 11/13/2023 they call said another transmission was install and I own them for a computer I didn't need. Went pick up car it did drive 4 or 5 miles and transmission stop shifting. Took my car right back to MR.Transmission and it diagnose came reading the same problem it was said almost 2 months ago. So far I don't have my car... talk to carsheild claims department explain my problem and I get it nothing carsheild can help me but let mr transmission get right. It been almost 2months and they still not fix it and carsheild pay them... right now am not sure how to handle this.I done reach out to carsheild twice and also carsheild told a second person from carsheild went to look at it for the secondary transmission that was in stall. Then as carsheild and me talk on the phone it came mr.transmission provides the transmission. So that told me their was no secondary inspection was done.am I sure mr transmission already knew my car would not drive.I was call to pay for a computer. So I think mr.transmission try to pull carsheild and my leg and begin dishonest...next is for legal investigation to be precise...I don't see any thing I can do. But get legal advice. Mr.michael loza

The master tech at the shop said I have regular carbon wear on one of my engine cylinders for a vehicle with 95K miles. The adjuster with car shield said they needed further proof of failure and the only way to do that is to tear down the engine. Of course that would be $3000 out of my own pocket and still no guarantee they would cover the cost. After reading many other reviews with similar situations I have learned this is a habitual pattern with their adjusters and nothing we can do. Or so they think. I have a group of friends that are social media savvy and going to launch a campaign exposing this companies choices. It's time to take these crooks on. I am looking into legal action as well. They have done this to many times and they think people won't fight back. As an investigator for a law firm I am going to do some digging and have reached out to a family friend who is a Warranty Attorney. Stay tuned for updates.
Sorry you’re having trouble finding a local repair shop that accepts our coverage. Some shops refuse to take our coverage, however it is not for the reasons you may think. Some shops refuse to take any outside coverage because they want to be in charge of their own prices. There is a nationally recognized labor guide that tells repair facilities what to charge for what services and things like that. But it's up to each individual shop whether or not they want to follow it. With coverage like ours, we keep shops from overcharging our customers and shops don't always like that. We’re happy to stand on our record of servicing over 2 million customers over our 18 years in business. Not to mention our claims department pays out over $5 million in claims every month. Took my vehicle to the dealer for repair. They called Car Shield and I paid the deductible- All done- Easy.

This is like the 3rd time I needed something fixed that Carshield did not cover. I looked at my policy silver plan and I called to see if motor mounts are covered and it appeared it was but Tire Works said they didn't approve it so I am out $900 for repairs that I cannot afford. My credit cards hate me right now.

If I am promised they will not take out any further payments after the truck was totaled and they take out anyway mean they lie and if they lie on one thing the will lie on more.

Had issues with my vehicle. Gave my agreement number to shop. 2 hours later received text and a call to let me know the claim had been initiated by the shower. 20 minutes later got a approval text
