The AC evaporator had to be replaced. OEM part would have cost me over $900. CarShield part, I onlt had to pay $107.00 for refrigerant.

Not what I expected pertaining to covered repairs. I dropped my vehicle at Pep Boys to have the starter replaced. It was a covered repair, and Car Shield shipped a starter from their warehouse to be installed. However Pep Boys refused to install it and used their own. The difference in price was almost $300, which I had to pay. My out of pocket for a COVERED REPAIR should be limited to my deductible. Obviously this changes my earlier opinion of Car Shield!

The dealership I went to accepted car shield but after trying to get a claim it never went thru. Did not understand why. I was very disappointed.

No problems with this service. Agent was very competent.
Doesn't cover what contract states that they cover. Customer service representatives act as if they can't help you. Make assumptions about how you've handled your vehicle after a " brake down". Will refuse to fix a part that is still not functioning correctly after being "fixed ".Worst experience EVER. I would not recommend Car Shield.
