Simply, I called Car Shield and notify them of the problem. They gave me the claim number and I presented to the car dealer. The dealership called Car Shield and explained the details of the problem. Car Shield approved and the car was fixed. All I had to do was make one phone call and the problem was resolved.

A real unprofessional no sense of direction or what they doing. Customer service run Department like they own it never can talk to a manager our supervisor employee lies all the time act like this is there company. Customer service blaming American Shield and American Shield blaming carshield. What a real s*** show y'all running.

Dealer said you would not cover repairs as they were software updates to computer. Thought you covered electronics problems.
My experience with car shield has been very satisfying
I was told by Jeff and a lady at different times that everything was covered and I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket! And now there has been a deductible able to my account that I didn't have when I set up!
I had a problem with the ac. I brought the car to an authorized repair shop. They tried to fix it once. Two weeks later I had the same problem. I was told I had to use the same repair shop so I did. After another 3 weeks the problem came back again. Instead of having it repaired a 3rd time I traded the car in for a newer one that is still under mfg warranty.
Received quick service form Carshield. Not happy with how car shield disputed certified mechanic recommended hours required and what parts were reusable. Cost me $1100 plus $200 deductible. For real.
