My 2012 Kia Sportage engine seized on 11/7 on 11/8 was it the garage Dynamic Emissions Repair in Tucson AZ. The adjuster has been going back and forth with the mechanics, dropping oil pans, photos, and no replacement engine to date. My rental car is about to cost me up to this date $2600. I don't have much I live on a small stipend and SS. I am 85 a Marine corps and Navy veteran who has been diagnosed with three types of cancer one type multiple myeloma has no cure. American Autoshield called and reported the claim would be completed do to a branded title. I informed the representative I was not aware of a branded title. The representative assured me the repairs would be completed and advised that I contact Carshield and explain the situation and inquire about the cost of a surcharge due to the branded title. I contacted Carshield and provided the details.
The representative recorded my concern and stated I would receive further details the following day by email or phone. I did not receive any details the following day. I contacted Carshield again the following Tuesday, November 28,2023. The representative provided details to the surcharge amount and stated the claim had been approved.
The repair shop contacted me Monday December 4,2023 and stated Carshield had denied the claim. I contacted Carshield and spoke to Victor in the claims department who stated the claim had been denied and Carshield would not honor any claim going forward for the repairs in the claim.

I saw the commercial on the television. I called, and the salesperson was very knowledgeable and I was going to apply for the basic package. He convinced me to apply for the electronic package also. I was a little skeptical, but he encouraged me to take advantage of this one time offer today only. I was hesitant and he explained that I would be satisfied in the end. One month later, my electronics stopped working. I took my car to my dealership. They told me the problem, and I told them I had Carshield. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, when my mechanic informed me that the repairs were almost complete and I just had to pay my co-pay; Carshield had paid the bill. I was so happy that the knowledgeable salesperson had convinced me to purchase the best insurance package for the best coverage. The commercial was right, and I'm very satisfied.

THEY DENIED MY CLAIM, BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY MY CAR STILL HAS A LIFETIME WARRANTY WHICH IS NOT TRUE THEY SCAMMED ME, I WENT TO THE HYUNDAI AND THEY TOLD ME THAT WAS NOT TRUE, I HAVE CALLED CARSHIELD MANY TIMES THAT I NEED A LETTER EXPLAINING WHY THEY DENIED MY CLAIM AND NOT THAT THEY WANT TO GIVE IT, IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

My car was getting hard to startup when i needed to drive it, so i thought i needed a tune-up. So i took down to the machanic, and i knew i had to come out of my pocket to pay for this.So the machanic check it out came and told me i had a Cam Shaft Sensor that played out, this is more than a tune-up i thought, to have this Sensor fix cost $600.00 after my $100.00 deductable... They called Car Shield and it was fixed, no problem, Thank You Car Shield...
