Being the car shield ap gives a delete vehicle option I thought as would most that deleting a vehicle there would cancel the contract. Wrong! Unbenounced to me one has to call to delete a vehicle contract. Thus I was billed for a contract I thought I deleted

On 7/20/2023 i was in an accident & my I was waiting on info from car insurance. So on 10/17/23 i called Car Shield to cancel my policy.They said they would credit my card with the $119.99.I spoke with Vernon & he gave me a confirmation # *******. Still nothing on my card. So i called 12/7/2023 & they assured me that my card would get credited & it is now 12/14/2023 & no credit.

I've been with Carshield since 2020. Tried using it for the very first time because my vehicle is using up engine oil. My claim was denied, through an underwriter called American Auto Shield, stating my contract doesn't cover oil consumption. I filed a dispute with Carshield stating that the issue of oil consumption is the result of something not working right in the engine. So i then get told from an Auto Shield rep that i will have to pay out of my own pocket to have the engine torn down to find what is causing the oil consumption. So thinking i was going to have to pay only $100 deductible, i now will have to pay over $3,000 to have the engine torn down to find what's causing the oil consumption. My copy of the Carshield contract states i'm covered for "all internally lubricated parts within the engine." The contract also states "The engine block and heads are covered ONLY if damage is caused by a FAILURE of any internally lubricated part within the Engine. My claim should have been an easy approval. Oil consumption, with no leakage, is systemtic of an an internally lubricated part failing. There's evidently some fine print that states "tear down of the engine is the responsibility of the owner."

Everyone I have encountered has been very professional and explained what I needed to do. It was very helpful to me as it was all new, but it has been very smooth in getting my vehicle repaired.
My last phone call went fine, but I never had to use the service in any way as of yet.
I would like to be inform by e-mail that my payment was made. I asked for it last month and received it. I think that when you make a payment you should send automatically to e-mails every momth. You take our money send and e-mail. We shouldn't have to beg for our receipt every month. You should have my e-mail on file.

I had recently changed my payment info and so my automatic payment was declined. I received a call from a lady at Car Shield explaining what happened. She was very friendly and nice and best of all understanding. We fixed my error and now everything is fine again. All agents at all companies should be so nice.

We had our equinox in for a oil change at the local Chevy dealer, The vehicle had a check engine light on and they said it would cost $390.00 for a diagnostic exam and told us our insurance would not cover it. Do you still want it done? Well we want our car taken care of correct fully so I couldn't say no, then when I asked them what it was they said it was a ecm update? And he said that he couldn't guaranty the fix? Really
Tried to resolve problem based on what i described. Sent tow truck once and again the next day to get car to repair shop. Responded to claim in a timely manner and I was able to get my vehicle back quickly as possible.
There is a craws in the covers what I need... I DO NOT HAVE 50 WORDS TO SAY ABOUT CAR SHIELD RIGHT OF THE MONTMENT...
