Frustrated that Claims department took 4-5 days to make a decision on claim, which I decided to rent a vehicle to prevent further damage. They only cover/reimburse a set $100 / per day, no taxes or anything, yet we know companies charge taxes! WHY, do they not cover/reimburse and take so long to make decisions? Then again, it'll be customers failed to do this or that.

My wheel bearings were damaged and my water pump was cracked and leaking. My dealership called Car Shield the work was approved the parts were ordered and once the parts came in two days later the repair was complete. All that I needed to do was give verbal authorization to pay my dealership. A couple of hours later I got a e-mail that the payment was made and that I could come and get my vehicle.
It is running like a brand new suv.

First time using CarShield. Wife's Jeep was experiencing the Auto Start/Stop warning light while driving to work and on highway experienced sputtering from engine and could not go above 55mph. As she pulled into her place of work, the check engine light came on. They were very prompt and detailed when we had it towed to a dealership that they worked with and were in constant communication with me with updates.

I called in to see if part was cover and gave the GM part number and the name of the part was assured the part was covered but they said the service repair shop had to made the request after their diagnostic. I had them do that only for the shop to be told the part wasn't covered. After my time and money spent, I called and asked for supervisor to call to explain to me why? Never received a call.

Every time which is 3 times in the last 6 years, the person that answers the phone tells me the issue is covered on my plan and then some one calls me back and says it is not covered and they tell me I have the best coverage. I am canceling Car Shield

This was my second claim. First claim was on my windshield wiper motor. The second claim was for my transmission. They paid for my car rental as well as having my transmission REBUILT. I had to pay $73.00 for labor. I believe Car Shield should pay for ALL of the labor charges. However, I do APPRECIATE Car Shield!

Only had to use a couple of times but so far am very satisfied with the repair and the way it was took care of.I paid the towing out of my pocket but before two was up I received the towing money back

I was lied to I was told a had a platinum package most of my vehicle was covered for parts and labor a year later I'm told I have a gold package and nothing was covered on.my vehicle I had to pay $1000 out of pocket

Called for info only not service. I thought I had to give up Car Shield on my 2006 Lincoln when it was 20 years old! Found out from Customer Service it's the miles not the years! Wow!
