My vehicle coverage was denied at the dealer I went to but according to my policy and the reps it was included in my policy. How do I get reimbursed for my claim?
We apologize if you feel this way. We do go over what is covered with you on the initial phone call and also send you the policy.
I've only been a customer for about 6 months when the alternator and thermostat went out on my BMW. Car Shield came through as promised.
Pep boys put on hold all the time. Not get through. Day 3 I called. Again in Day 4,5,6,7. Reps would not call shop. Shop cannot spend 45 to an hour to talk to someone. We have to get automated and process electronically for the Shops. 8 days to long. It took myself a rep on the line at the shop to get the ball rolling on day 7th, while I had them on speaker. They breakdown of what Car Shield pays is never clear on the receipts or in contract. They don't pay for a lot of things. But graceful I had them.
I've been a customer now for 2 months and yet haven't received my contract in the mail from this company and I'm becoming very disappointed in these type of services when I'm making my payments on time.
Purchased a service contract based upon reputation and interaction with personnel of car shield. 2019 dodge grand caravan lost reverse on transmission and filed a claim. Ended up at Aamco and when contacted by shop, was informed I would have an almost $800 deductible instead of the $100 I had thought I had. Have an issue with this but behind 8 ball as far as getting repaired. No satisfied but not pissed off either.
We had to call for assistance and the driver was ther in 20 minutes! Love the prompt service and expertise!
Service location provided by CarShield representative wouldn't honor the coverage so had to pay out of pocket. Follow up with CarShield resulted on less then 1/4 reimbursement of what had to be paid to repair the vehicle.
I have called twice to cancel and they talk me into staying. When I am not sure I trust there rules and red tape

The car shop found my problem, I called car shield the next day the work was approved, recieved my car back on third day, paid my deductible, everything worked out very smoothly.
I had experienced a reduction in income and they designed the plan around that.
I never has a problem with car shield Everytime I've needed them they made sure I found the right service.
