Even though all the repairs my 2013 BMW 650i needed was covered by my service contract. Car Shield would only pay half of the total repair bill. Cause I wouldn't use less than OEM parts and BMW Certified Mechanics. Not a good company, at all.
They all was find a way not to pay for my repairs. And they don't listen to the mechanic. Customer service are rude and don't know anything but the script that they are told to say

My radio stopped working. Or, as it said, tuner has stopped. So, I had no tunes. I took the car into the dealer, and they did a reset and were able to get it working again. Of course, when a car shield rep showed up, they could not recreate the problem, so no need for a fix. Radio still works.:-D

I was unhappy with the time it took to get everything together to repair my vehicle. I tried to call about claim several times and had to hold 30 min or longer and never spoke with anyone. I was disappointed that there was no coverage for the cadalytic converter when it was damaged by the turbo.

I had called to question that about a lawsuit I heard? In the responder said that they hadn't been sued, but evidently Car Shield was sued for deceptive advertising not paying claims.

Platinum plan covered the FMR module, but not the full labor for that module replacement and then covers NOTHING on the CAS module. Seriously considering cancelling this coverage…since it doesn't provide coverage…GEEZ DISAPPOINTED!

I needed an amplifier replaced in my Tahoe. The dealership who was making the repair contacted Carshield and got the ball rolling. Carshireld kept me in the loop via text & email. When the dealership said the part hadn't arrived, I contacted Carshield. They were able to give me date/time/location & who signed for it. Part was installed. I only had to pay my deductible.
