They dragged their feet through the process and left me paying the entire car rental bill for a week since they took so long to approve COVERED work. You CAN'T speak to the same adjuster twice, they enter info into their system incorrectly, they flat out LIED to me when they told me that they still hadn't received anything at all from the shop until four days after requesting it repeatedly, when I was told the day after my car went into the shop that they did indeed receive what they needed from the repair shop. My service advisor from the repair shop was in constant communication with them yet they claimed they waited days to hear back from him. Even after they FINALLY paid for the covered part a week after my car sat in the shop NOT being worked on while American Auto Shield dragged their feet, I was still receiving texts from American Auto Shield for days later stating that they have submitted multiple requests for information from the repair shop and they are still waiting to hear back from them, even though by then they had already paid the repair shop and I already had my car back! That is just further proof of the disorganization of their staff and their system! My car was in the shop for over a week waiting for them to approve the work for a repair that was then done in less than a day, and because of their chaotic way of doing business I was stuck with a car rental bill for the entire week. I DO NOT recommend Car Shield to anyone. In fact, my son was going to call about getting coverage but after my ordeal he changed his mind and is looking elsewhere.

The mechanic shop I used analyzed the problem with my car and sent the information to Car Shield an was approved the next day. My car was repaired and I am extremely satisfied with Car Shield.

The Customer Service Team with CarShield is knowledgeable, friendly and business like. My issue was handle in mere moments in a professional manner, all while the agent stayed friendly and very helpful. I couldn't ask for a better customer service experience.

It was acid and received very prompting courageously by your representative I could ask for no more better than that

My first-service used was perform at a new place very close to my house and result was satisfactory completed but over price. I have done same service in the past and price was 180 dls less. Also, at this new place I received A DOCUMENT OF NEEDED REPAIRS for over 3500.00 dls. Worth. I did not use the service offered. Just check with my normal trusted mechanic who also accepts Car Shield but is far from my residence and to my surprise none of the three service were needed on my car. No brakes, no shock absorbers and can't remember the third service. Will never go to that place again!

Car Shield worked with a reputable car repair facility, and indeed they recommended it when I was at a loss as to where to take my car. I had trust "to the max" in the way Car Shield and the auto repair facility handled everything. I would recommend Car Shield to other senior citizens.

My experience with car shield has been GREAT, they have helped me keep my car on the road.it is definitely worth having, I have recommended to family and friends to get it. They have saved me a couple of times when I needed my car fixed and didn't have the money to come out my pocket with. It is one of the best investments I've invested in.
