Great friendly people

People are friendly and knowledgeable haven't had to use the service yet just the billing department on a double payment was able to solve the problem and was explained on how they resolve it

Happy medium

The customer service was great! The process and communication went smoothly. My only issue is having to pay more than my deductible. I would still recommend car shield to any and everyone because they still saved me over $3000.

The service was great, when the shop stablish communication to star the process, car shield Rep told them what exactly they need (estimate, pictures and records) and then they took care of the bill.

Never again

Told one thing, get to the dealership and it's the one part not covered. I checked and asked and was assured. Months later I was told it was. Not happy and never again!

Timing chain

They turned down my claim for my timing chain and offered no help. So i have to end up paying 2500.00 for the timing chain for my chevy. When i went to cancel the rep wanted to lower my monthly payments after i told her that i cant afford them since i have to now pay out of pocket. She then said that she would see if the adjuster would come back out so i waited a day with no call what happen was they never sent out the adjuster again like she said it was a ploy to keep my monthly payments going, there shaddy and i would not recommend them to anybody.

Had to have my transmission replaced. CarShield worked directly with the shop and within 2 hours of receiving the paperwork needed from the shop, I got a call saying my claim was approved. All I had to pay was my $200 deductible. Not to mention they called and set up a car rental for me also. If you are undecided on the cost, I promise it's worth it.

Rec'd info on how to submit a claim for reimbursement of repairs I already paid for because carshield recommended Muffler shops locally to do work that was beyond their capabilities and lost a week of car usage. I had to take it to an unauthorized GMC dealer to fix what was necessary.

When we were talking to the agent in the beginning we gave him the two dealerships we deal with. He said both were covered. One wasn't. If we knew that we probably wouldn't have signed. The problem we found out after awhile was that they have trouble collecting money from you

Agreeable service

Needed tow service after an accident but couldn't get any deduction off the price I paid to get the car removed off hwy but it was agreed upon they will pay towards towing my vehicle from where it was taken to when it was removed then CarShield paid their deduction to tow the car from where it was taken to after the wreck to my residence which was out of town from where the accident occurred
