HORRIBLE. From the time we initiated the claim to payment our service was horrible. Our transmission in our 2015 Tahoe went out. THIS WAS WHY WE BOUGHT THE INSURANCE! It we teeth pulling to get you to approve, when we took it to a Certified Transmission place. You wanted to use USED PARTS, when that is not what I was paying for. Then you requested multiple quotes, when the quotes were sent multiple times with pictures. Multiple customer service reps handled our account and not one could explain why this was being handled so poorly. Not one returned a call when asked. I still had to pay $800 out of pocket. I'm asking myself why should I keep this insurance now! I have another vehicle insurance by you guys and I will be looking for other options due to this horrible experience

The covered vehicle, a 2017 with approximately 100,007 miles was destroyed in a collision. No significant claims were made to Car Shield on this vehicle.

I had a problem with my engine in my car and was told to go to the Mercedes Benz dealer. The dealer said that the problem was in the engine. When they called Car Shield to get the problem fixed they were told that it was not covered. I called Car Shield to say that you advertised that the engine and electrical problems were covered. They said not this…. As soon as I got back home I canceled Car Shield and would never recommend the company to any of my friends, family or clients.

Car Shield told me they would pay for my diagnotic check and they didn't. Code P0420 covers O2 sensors and converter. O2 sensor was covered but didn't pay.

The dispatched sender the tow driver to the wrong address and to the wrong shop I ask the dispatched to have my car tow to Serra Hyundia Dealership they told the tow driver to take it to Vulcan Tire & Automotive.

I called for a tow truck for my Jeep and one arrived in 15-20 minutes. I was so relieved and the tow truck operator was very friendly and helpful.

While the repair was approved and paid per contract, it is a breakdown which has happened 3 times and will again due to poor replacement parts.

They have paid a claim in 6 years and they only paid $375.00 - the $100.00 deductible.
So they paid $275.00 of a $680.00 of A$680.00 bill. They seem not to cover a lot of items.
In the past 6 years I have spent $70.00 per month for coverage that's $5040.00 so I'm negative $4765 not that good of an investment.
