Biggest rip-off I've ever seen the most incompetent I have ever seen order depart took the money out of my account less than an hour later told me I had a shipping number which does not exist no $#*! clown in the office can give me any information whatsoever if you call for customer service it's 72 minutes tried it once and they hung up on me you people suck I will never ever use you again and I will make sure that anybody I know doesn't use you either. Pull your head out of your $#*!
Sent wrong parts, customer service is terrible... zero communication once you try and return something! And at least a half hour wait every time you call! Stay away! You've been warned!
I was supposed to receive my part on July 8th. I got charged 35 dollars to be shipped through fedex but today on July 10th have not received anything. I tried calling customer service waited 45 minutes and when I finally was next in line to talk to someone I got disconnected. The tracking number dos not show when I should receive the part... this company sucks
Took over a month to get two headlights. An they didnt fit my car. Had to ship them back and it's been another 3 weeks and still nothing.
This company has NO customer service. I ordered parts. They screwed up the delivery address. When called placed on hold of over 1.5 hours. The rep told me my problem was no big deal and he didn't care about my wait. Admitted the problem was there's. He said he would reprocess the order but no overnight shipping only ground and I may be a problem again. What kind of business would run this way with this help. I strongly recommend buying elsewhere. DO NOT use this company. There are nanny good companies selling parts that do care about the customer. Bad to the bone company
So I ordered a part here because they were the cheapest but I paid for the fastest shipping option because I needed the part right away. They said guaranteed by Monday on the site and in the order confirmation I later received. I got a shipping notice pretty quickly as well (might have been the same day). But when I tracked the order it said it would be arriving Wednesday. I contacted them and asked for refund of the expedited shipping since this was only 1 day different than the standard shipping was stated to be. They said "Please remember we don't process orders during the weekend or holidays." How do I remember something that is counter to what all the information you stated on your site and the emails you sent me? First and last time I ever order from them.
When I ordered from carparts.com (May 27th) they said I would have the parts in my hands in 2 days. I finally took delivery of the second half of a split shipment June 11th. I sent countless emails & innumerable phone calls leaving my number. Not one return correspondence. I gave them poor ratings on their website and they never posted any them. Whatever they say, buyer-be-ware!
The CarPart web site is fairly good but lacks critical details on many items. In my case I was looking to replace tail lights on a motor home which uses Ford and Chevy parts.
The parts I bought did not fit and were returned June 12th and received by CarParts June 15th (according to UPS).
Today is July 3rd and I've not received credit for the returned part.
Four emails went unanswered over the time frame of a week. The first response requested the UPS details which they had on the tracking slip and RMA in the package.
I'm done with CarParts.
I ordered a drivers side mirror for my 2012 Kia Sorento. The part was delivered a day earlier than expected! However, the part was defective and I've had nothing but problems with customer service. 2 calls where I was left on hold, with no answer, one for 25 minutes, one for 35 minutes. I tried to do the return authorization online, throughtheir website, and havent received the shipping label that was supposed to be emailed within 24 hrs. It's now been 7 days. Don't waste your time with these folks.
I ordered a bumper cover for my 2015 Hyundai Sonata sport that said "guaranteed fit". I got it, and it did not fit. This was only found out once I had my bumper off of course and the part was unreturnable. Anyhow I tried to contact customer service multiple times through email, and waited over a month for response. I waited on the phone for forty minutes as well with no answer. The reason this is a three instead of one star review is the fact that I was able to get ahold of either their parent or sister company JC Whitney. They responded within 48 hrs and issued me a full refund within 1-2 days after that. They said I could either return the part or not. I was very satisfied with that customer service experience, but I didn't think it was saving grace enough to warrant four stars. The only reason I was able to get ahold of anyone was by reading an old comments section from a carparts.com question on a help site on a google search, learning that they are affiliated with this JC Whitney company.
I ordered a brake drum kit for my Jeep Cherokee in April, I received my package in May. I understand that the COVID has things messed up however, when I opened the package I discovered that one brake drum was missing. I contacted them and spent a month trying to get my missing brake drum that I paid for. I was first told that the missing drum was going to be shipped and I would have tracking number in 48 hrs. A week went by and I contacted them again. I was told I couldn't return anything and they didn't have anymore in stock and I would get a refund. I got $18 credited back to my card, wth? Also they still have the same kit " in stock " on their page. Stay away from them. I ordered brake drums from another place and got the, in 48 hrs. Now I have an extra drum that is useless. Again I say Stay Away they have no concept of what customer service is.
They sent me the wrong part and I have to pay the cost to return it. I will never use them again. Live and learn
I received incorrect part. Took 8 emails before i got my return order number. Returned part and have sent them 10 emails all of which do not go thru. I have confirmation they received part. Its been 5 weeks now and still no refund. This company is a complete rip off. BUYER BEWARE. They can send you 2 emails per day trying to sell you stuff, but you cannot get email to go thru. I have called them about 20 times and you just wait on hold with there dumb music, no answer and then your call gets dropped. Called and spoke to someone in sales and was very rude and transferred me to customer service who again did not answer. They are a rip off. I will be handing the matter over to my lawyer and will report them to BBB. Again. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
I looked up parts and put them in my cart. When I went to check out the price for shipping was $245. The parts were only $116. Never will I look up parts again from this site.
Bought a dash cover (RD*******) for my son's Dodge truck. After receiving cover I realized it has no grill covers, just holes where grill covers should be. Contacted Carparts.com and asked if they sell covers for holes. No response received, so I asked for RMA to return. Total cost of part with shipping was $153.58. It cost me $83.41 to return the unit. I asked Carparts if they would help me with a discount shipping return supplier, but again no response. So I shipped it as they described. UPS returned it and they received it on 5/21/20 and I have the information per the tracking number. Now when you get the RMA number they say the refund will be within 2-3 days after receipt. Also now they say the refund will only be for $115.17 and not $153.58. I have made several requests with PayPal and Carparts and not sure if this pandemic is to blame but not getting any answers on my phone calls. Calling at 4:30 PM central time which is 2:30 PM Pacific time and they say open till 6 PM on Fridays, but when you call it says to call back during normal hours and this is within the normal hours. What the hell?
Waited almost an hour on the phone for a representative now my order is delayed an additional 6 days poor customer service I will not order from them again
I placed an order of $200 dash cover for one of my restoration jobs it took a month to get it when I got it it was completely damaged! The box it came in was fine so clearly they didn't care they just threw it in the box anyways and sent it! It took me eight days to contact them for a return then another four days to get a return label Then it took four weeks to get my refund I sent numerous emails spent 45 minutes on the phone four times trying to contact this company! They never answer their phone or their emails impossible to do! Do not waste your money or time worst company I've ever dealt with and I own an automobile restoration shop
I kept receiving different emails with tracking changes. The items were "in stock" but apparently that was not true. The parts were suppose to be here and I waited and even paid for the shipping. I called carparts customer service on 3 occasions and help for over 2 hrs. I have 1 screen shot of me just waiting over an hour in attached. What happened was not ok. I still have not got my package.
I recieved wrong part order and when i called customer service they at first i said i had to pay for shipping for their mistake, then they ignored all my emails and calls. Stay far away from this illegal operation. Buyer beware!
