I ordered two headlights and was sent an email stating only one was in stock. I requested that the other one not be shipped. Was told it was already shipped but continued to receive emails that there was a delay in shipping. Emailed again and still stated they could not do anything. Now they want to charge me shipping to return the item. Customer Service 101: If part of the order is not in stock, let the customer know so they can decide if they want the part of the order that is in stock or to cancel the order completely. When one requests an order be cancelled and the item clearly has NOT been SHIPPED, there is no reason the order can't be cancelled. If you decide to ship anyways, it is not my obligation to pay for return fees. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Don't do business with them.
I order my part for ny truck over a month ago, I still have not received my part! My truck is out of commission without my part. Do not order from carparts.com!
I ordered Rancho shocks for my 2017 using the website tools. When I received them they not for my truck. I asked to return them, they said I would have to pay the shipping $82. I did and want to warn folks!
I will never order from carparts.com again ordered a bumper which came in two pieces that were delivered separate which I understand just received the second one today which the delivery date changed like four times. Bumper was supposed to come painted but was all scratched up just put in a box not wrapped in plastic or anything.
Recently I placed an order with Carparts.com for a passenger rear taillight for a 1999 Ford F-150. I had every confidence that they would prevail once again. Why you ask? I have used their service several times before with ZERO problems. The part arrived via Fedex in two days. They did state it would be three days. I elected not to pay extra for two day service. So I went standard three day delivery. The part itself was a perfect fit with no blemishes or broken pieces. I really can't say anything about their customer service department because all of my orders arrived in perfect condition and arrived at my home either before or on the day they stated it would come. Also, the part was packaged securely. I will continue to use their service. I will and have recommended this company to the highest accolades. They once again receive an A+. Keep up the outstanding service you continually provide Carparts.com.
I don't know how this place stays in business. I ordered 2 items from them and 2 days later I get an email saying one of the items were out of stock. Shouldn't that had been shown on the website before the order? Then the one item left for delivery keeps getting pushed back now I'm having to wait over 2 weeks from the original delivery date if I'm lucky enough to get it then. They claim to have fast 2 days shipping yeah that's a lie. This place is a joke and I will not be ordering anything from them again.
Twice I've ordered parts from these people both times the product wasn't even close to fitting my car. Impossible to get in touch with anybody just a bunch of scam artists stay away from them
The Price is Right but they charge you when you order it is in charge again when is process then when you ask for your money back it takes over two weeks to get your money back I do not recommend this place at all
The part I ordered did not fit my car. They approved the return but I had to pay the return shipping. They lost a customer. Since they have a guarantee fit policy they should email a return label covering shipping.
I placed the order on February 12th, 2021. It got lost & I got nothing but attitude when I reported it. I was not given the option at all what sub model the car was. So the part comes & it's nowhere near the right part. I ask about a refund, I'm expecting to pay to send it back. They said it was my fault. So I get the emails today about the refund. I was charged $50.76 for the part & shipping. I'm informed they are only wanting to refund the part amount. Which is absolutely ridiculous. So not only do they expect me to pay to return a part that doesn't fit my car, they are not even giving me back my money I paid to have it shipped to me! I contacted customer service 5 minutes ago. They immediately went to blaming me AGAIN & only wanting to talk about my mistake & asking me questions about my car.
I I ordered product on Monday they said it will be delivered on Thursday on Thursday I get a text message saying all because of weather I won't receive it until Monday bul$#*! there is no bad weather there a scam f****** company do not purchase from this company go to A1 auto.com
They would not let me return an item I bought. They claimed the shipping cost was more than the part was worth, the part was $500... don't know how shipping is more than the part it self.
Ordered an item for around 9 dollars with a shipping cost of 4 dollars. The item was delayed and still haven't received it. So I asked for a refund, but can't seem to be able to because for some stupid reason the cost would exceed the total price? What kind of crap is that? CarParts either offshores their phone operators or imports 3rd world peasants that can barely understand American English. I Spent 20+ minutes trying to order 5 basic cooling system parts. The phone rep. Gave me a tracking confirmaton number that didn't work and would be sent to my email, that never happened. The rep. Said that the order would arrive in 3-4 days of which only 1 item arrived. I called to track my order and another rep. Said the items were coming from 3 different warehouses. The rep. Said the first confirmation was wrong, then gave me 2 new numbers that don't work. I've received no confirmations after giving 3 different Dirkadirkastanis my email, spelling it out slowly using the ICAO phonetic alphabet. I tried the live chat but that rep. Couldn; t/wouldn't help and told me to use the telephone. I used to get good service from JC Whitney (CarParts) but I will use RockAuto next time!
The web site gives a delivery date at the time of the order but on that date, instead of getting a part, you get an email saying shipping is delayed and they blame the carrier. In reality, the carrier doesn't have the part as they have not actually sent it. If you check the tracking information, the part has not yet been picked up.
I ordered a part and paid with a credit card. Double checked shipping and billing addresses, as I always do.
A couple of hours later, got an email notification the payment for the part had been authorized, but the shipping address on the email was to another state. Immediately sent them email and called Customer Serviced directly. Two days later, got notification the part had shipped, but still to the other state. Have traded a half-dozen or emails with them, but they took the position the address I gave them for my billing address was the one they used to FedEx it to me. That's impossible, because my credit card company won't authorize payment for a wrong billing address (I checked with my credit card fraud department, who

This bunch like the plague. My bank said to call them back and cancel the payment when I finally decide what to do about this issue. I've decided.
Ordered door pins for a vehicle. Estimated weight 2 pounds. Good price. I was charged $30.00 for shipping. So I called to cancel the order. It was explained to me that one set had already shipped and the other set was shipping from another warehouse. I asked if the $30.00 I was charged was covering both shipments, (one set from two different warehouses) and was informed, "no" the $30.00 shipping charge was for the one set that had already shipped. Of course I had to ask what I would be charged for the second... the reply was another $20.00. So I am to be charged $50.00 to ship less than 2 pounds of merchandise. I work in the industry. I can easily ship a 2 pound package to their location for under $10.00. Parts are cheaper but seems they make that up in the shipping.

I purchased a window regulator in 2018 and installed it in my minivan. I hardly drove the car and last week the cable snapped. Pure junk! I'll never use this company again!
