90 Day Return Policy is a Joke

Horrible customer service and lack of interest/knowledge of people or product. Completely discount the high reviews as they are anything but what they claim to be. 90 day return policy - yep, but get ready to fork out big bucks for return shipping. They do not stand behind their products in that the return shipping is usually so high that its not worth your time to ship. BEWARE! They stated that the item I ordered would fit OEM - it didn't and then they argued with me that it would! Go with Amazon as they will pay for return shipping in the event the item doesn't fit or is not the right item that was shipped.

I received an ordered replacement tailgate that I ordered my boyfriend for his Dodge truck for Christmas and when I received it it had several dents and scrapes on it it was not packaged very well for shipping but when I contacted carparts.com with my issue they were very prompt with a response and gave me 3 options of resolution they were very professional in how they handled my issue I chose to have part of my money refunded instead of sending it back because we are going to do a tailgate wrap on it that should camouflage the dents that were in it they were very prompt in refunding my money I have ordered from them numerous times and will continue to order from them, they are a great company to deal with

Happy customer

After searching online for the caliper set I wanted on my truck I came apon this site which had them at a fair price. Just for fun I sent them a message on Instagram to see if there were any discount codes for the new year and to my surprise they offered me a 10% code to use! Great customer service

I had ordered a grill which shipped and was delivered fast,the part fit perfect the only issue I had was that it had a crack in it, they reached out to me with 24 hours and had issued me a refund great company and I'd be glad to do business with them again!

I ordered two parts Order IDs: ******* and ******* for my 2013 VW Passat. One of them parts was the same quality and fit as the original part and the other one was not as good as the OEM. I provided feedback to customer service about both of them and to my surprise I received emails back from the customer service. They gave me discount on the one that I was not satisfied with.

The fact that they are surveying customers about quality of the product and actively trying to improve their service and qualify of the products tells me that they stand behind their product and I have recourse in case I am not satisfied. Specially these days with online orders you don't know who you are dealing with. This takes the risk of buying an expensive part without recourse if case of issues.

Excellent Customer Service Follow-up

I haven't had any issues ordering parts for my car from CarParts. The ordering process was seamless and my parts arrived when expected and the prices are reasonable. I really didn't have any complaints except the fit of some of the parts I ordered. They were slightly out of alignment. I made the comment in a recent post and their customer service team reached out to apologize and offered some form of restitution. It really wasn't necessary because the modification was wasn't huge and I was otherwise happy with my order. But it's impressive to see a company take the initiative to make things right. I ordered a front drive shaft for my wife's car on Saturday was told the drive shaft would be here on Monday. Then when I finally got the tracking information it said Tuesday a day after that it said delivery would be Wednesday or Thursday. When I went to go look at my tracking information it said it hadn't even been loaded on the truck yet. I contacted the company and was told that I could cancel the order but then when I did not get my cancellation confirmation I called back and they said oh no too late to cancel it's already been loaded on the truck I informed them that my tracking information had not changed and it still had not been loaded on The courier truck. I would really be skeptical about the five-star reviews on here. The one star that I am giving and that others have given seems a whole lot more realistic and a lot more in line with what I experience with this company. First order and last order, never again!

No Really Handle The Situation

I had got a starter from here an it was shipped the same day an delivered the next day I think I might have from got my apartment letter so FedEx had me call car parts to fix Me address after that the lady told me that everything was handle the next day I called to my make sure everything was good so I called yo get another story about my starter an the man said I need to stand by the phone to wait for a phone call about my starter to later on that night I called back for them to tell me I needed to wait 24 to 48 hours for them to even pick up the information still 24 hours an no response don't know when I'm even receiving my package

*January 30th 2023* After writing the review (below), Carparts.com responded to me and I was able to get the part returned and refunded.
This was my ultimate intention since all other avenues didn't work; somehow my RMA got ignored (not saying yours will) but in the end, the hassle isn't especially worth it. I still stand by being absolutely certain it's the correct part, just in case this happens again. If I know for sure it's the correct part, I'd order from them again as their shipping is considerably cheaper then Rockauto.

Do not buy a part unless you are 100% absolutely sure it will fit!
I ordered a part April 25 2022. Received part, it wasn't the correct part. Requested a return May 10 2022. It is now December 15 2022 and STILL have not received an RMA
I've emailed, I've called and I've tried chat. No one answers the phone, replies to my emails or comes on the chat.
Now I have to figure out where and how to to send it back and hopefully get a refund.
But it's a giant 6 foot long box!

GO ELSEWHERE

Seriously, you will be making a mistake if you click submit on this website. I ordered three parts, I was charged the full amount yesterday. Today, I was charged 3 separate times for the items individually. I called the 800 number and they said yesterday's charge was a pre-authorization (that you don't get an option in agreeing to) and today they charged me 'for real'. They explained my only option was to wait 5-7 business days to get my 'pre-authorization' back. I called my bank who said they are all listed as pending charges, so we do have to just wait and see if I'll get my money back or if I'll have to open a claim and my bank pays me. The main issue in this, I use a specific card for online shopping and I put exactly the correct amount for this order and for a different part order on said card. That second order? Not going to go through, setting job completion behind schedule. Thank you CarParts.com for $#*!ing me.

Terrible Service

Claim parts are "guaranteed to fit when you type in your vehicle information. Part did not fit and when i went to request the proper part i could not make an exchange I had to make a full return. Not only that you have to pay for shipping and for returns even though it was their fault the part didn't fit. Their return process is confusing and it has now been 2 weeks involved and 25$ ill not be getting back, I am not one for leaving bad reviews but this service was awful
