My family was scheduled for Conquest ship to Key West & Cozumel. We prepare & inquired for need of passport & was told we could use our PA Drivers license ID but when we got to port our handicap daughters' caregiver was denied access to the ship. After three interactions with Carnival pre port arrival we showed caregiver ID & it was accepted So when she was rejected at Port we were totally confused! We had to cancel the trip because we had need of caregiver! Now we are asking for total cost given financially!
A friend and I and both of our mothers went on this cruise, and when both of our mothers were alone at the bar, one of the bartenders kept hitting on her and she told him to stop multiple times, so he cut her off and refused to give her anything else and the staff did nothing about it, overall awful experience just because of the staff they are not to be trusted the same guy thinking that our moms were wasted, came back to the room at four in the morning but they were awake and ran off like a little $#*! he was playing to sexually assault them $#*! that cruise.
Needed cancelation because my sister is terminal ill. At this time I am very upset at Carnival and the customer service. I was talking to a person at the resolution department and they hang up. The second time they din't even talked to me. The customer service told me that if I cancel the cruise I would have to pay $1,924. When I bought my cruise tickets on 2-9-2022 I got it with the insurance but they told now that I was latte to pay for it. So they cancel that ticket and made another one on 2-11-2022. But now I know that on the second time they did not put my insurance

I contact today to Carnival cruse ok order to switch day and destination due to I have a kid that was diagnosed with a no curable disease. I spoke to a supervisor to explain the situation and ironically she told me that I had should get protection, I felt offended by her. She was very rude and unprofessional. I was charge 1000 dollar for a cabin that was not assigned yet and I was canceling 6 month in advance they did not want ti work with me in order that I don't loose my money mean while she make ironic suggestion over my son disease.
I felt rob and discriminated. I will never book a carnival cruse in my life, and less recommend it to anyone.
My sign and sail card kept giving me an error code of 9999. I thought it was the machines and I would move from machine to machine. Some worked, while most of them did not. This was the first night of the trip. Went back the next day and the same thing was happening and I showed 3 attendants what was happening and no one had a clue. One told me to go customer service to have my card checked. I went down and they said that there was not anything wrong with my card. I made several trips up and and asked to see my charges. The first night and half a day, I was charged 4500 on my sign and sail. I told the casino manager that I did not charge this the first night and what the card was doing. He said if anyone else has any issues that he would do something about it, otherwise I should be more responsible. He made it seem like I intentionally made all of the charges. I was furious and I kept on them and even called the Miami office from the ship on my cell phone. A few days later, all of the holds on my accounts were off, so I thought everything was good now. When I leave the ship, I was charged around 6200 which they immediately processed my debit and credit cards. I have been in contact several times and I just keep getting the run around. No one wants to help me or figure out what actually happened with card. I changed that card out on the 3rd night and I had no other issues but that card was double charging me and it even charged me 600.00 when I tried to show the attendants what was happening.
We went on the Conquest. Everywhere you walk, you smell marijuana. They have a no drugs allowed policy, however it is clearly not enforced. You cannot enjoy anywhere outside your state room without smelling it.
Also, the amount of ratchet people on this ship is disgusting.
First time cruisers. We got spa rooms- waste of money - paid for drink packages - absolute waste of money as the bar lines were long at popular times and no one walking around serving drinks, we saw our room concierge 3 times on a 7 day cruise, bath tubs were tiny, breakfast was about the only meal worth eating in the dining room, kids running everywhere and in every pool/hot tub even the 21+ areas, they only use an app for show times, which we saw none of because no one said anything about finding them on the app, lines for food were ridiculous long, our room was hot and muggy and they claimed they didn't have any fans, food outside the buffet lines was expensive, spent $200 on playing deal or no deal and have no clue what the point in the cards was, pressured in to buying over priced expensive jewelry and purses and pictures, and we literally sat for 3 hours in the liquid lounge waiting to get off the ship at the end of the cruise only to be trampled by at least 600 other people who were in absolute panic as they were almost holding us against our will in this area. We couldn't go back to our rooms as they were getting them ready for the next miserable trip to basically no where! I will never cruise with carnival again. I've made complaints, requested partial refunds, about to get an attorney if I don't get a response soon! Worst vacation EVER! Worst most expensive experience EVER! Miserable! Better off going to a dog fight about the same amount of charm and class!
Worst cruise and company EVER! The worst 8 days of my life. Spent 8 sleepless nights, AND DAYS on the Horizon. We unfortunately were on a totally booked cruise and given a cabin directly under the dinning room galley. Had carts rolling, dishes crashing and people running nearly 24 hours a day. Imagine 4am breakfast prep noises continuing until 1am dinner cleanup, everyday for all 8 days of your cruise. Complained about it every day...had we been able to leave, believe me we would have. To make up for it Carnival guaranteed credit for a future cruise with a confirmed credit #4SBQ5(x)
Unless you get it in writing, Carnival does NOT seem to live up to their promised credits. All I get from them now, after hours on the phone is, We can't find that, You need to call customer service, or It's not valid. This company sucks!
Carnival Cruise Lines are the absolute worst! I booked cruise and had to end cancelling within days of booking the cruise. Part of the deposit I paid I used a $500 gift card. After putting the deposit down I disposed of the gift. When I cancelled I received an email saying that the money was refunded back onto the card. I called Carnival and spoke to several different Customer Service People and each of them had a different version of how I would get my money back. Each time I explained that I no longer had the card. The last conversation I had was with Jasmine on 1/19/23. She claimed to be a manager. She told me that since I know longer have the card I could opt to have either a Digital Gift sent to me or another card. She also said she would follow up with me and she never. Today I called and spoke with
Gabriel. She had a different answer. She said that since the money was refunded back on the original gift card, nothing processed. She said she would have to email the credit card research team and see what the next steps were. It would take 24 to 48 hours. She promised me she would follow up with me. At this point I have not faith in anything that Carnival Cruise has to say. I have went on 2 cruises with Carnival. I will never book another cruise with this cruise line. They are rude and each Customer Service rep has a different version how their processes work. On 1/18/23, a Customer Service Rep named Ruth even hung up on me. DO NOT GO ON CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES.
LONG STORY STORY. WE WENT ON CARNIVAL HORIZON 4/30/22 FOR A 8 DAYS CRUISE TO CELEBRATE OUR 34TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY BUT IT WAS NOTHING BUT DISAPPOINTMENT. TOO MANY TO MENTIONED. I REACHED OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUBMIT MY ISSUE AND ALL I GET FROM THE REP CHRISTIAN PLASENCIA EXPLANATION IS LIKE "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR BAD EXPERIENCE". WE WENT ON SEVERAL CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP BEFORE BUT THIS IS OUR FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE. WE LOVE CARNIVAL BUT WITH THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE WE WILL CHOOSE FROM ANOTHER CRUISE LINE WE CRUISE WITH BEFORE TO CELEBRATE OUR 35TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.
The cruise was overpriced considering we waited since 2020 to go on this cruise. We had 6 days at sea with 2 ports. Limon was a short stay.carnival needs to do a better job at the Panama Canal. They had a speaker who spoke limited English and expect a ship full of English speaking passenger to understand. Dining was a disaster you have to wait 1 to 1 1/2 hour to get into the dining room
I really don't know what there excuse is for their main form of booking cruises to be PAINFUL to use. That's marketing 101? Not sure how they are still in business with their awful website tbh. You should fix it.
I would give a zero star rating if I could. Customer service was absolutely horrible and the food is not good. Children running around everywhere and throwing things at guests, but I got fined for hitting a vape on an outside deck with no other guests around me. They water down your alcohol and it is extremely overpriced. If you actually want to have a good time on the boat, wake up because you're dreaming. Take virgin cruises or a different cruise line because this one is not worth the money at ALL.
Before I begin, I want to start by saying this is not my first cruise with Carnival. The previous cruises were spectacular, all pre-covid. My recent experience is why I will NEVER sail with them again.
There's a reason people call you guys the 'walmart' of cruises. We are absolutely disgusted in the service, food, environment, and just COMPLETE SCAM that Carnival is. Hate crimes, misleading information, lies, and more. Straight up robbery. We were blamed for causing a ruckus when there were a number of children running in the hallway and knocking on cabin doors. We were denied drinks, because I look young, even though I am 22 and payed to be on this cruise. My little sister was mis-gendered multiple times because of her short hair and then was mocked and made fun of when she told staff she was actually a girl. On top of that, we were charged $150 per person for hitting my vape, once, outside on the lido deck. This was before I was aware of the smoking areas. There was no warning, no redirection, just told me I was getting fined for smoking in a non smoking area. Keep in mind the smoking area was always constantly full. What a dumb rule on top of the million other unbearable things on the ship. I understand that a lit cigarette may become a problem, but not my vape, especially when others around us were also vaping. Nevertheless I am naturally a rule-follower, so I assumed I was in the wrong, since there are posted rules about smoking. But to charge my whole group $150 each for MY mistake? Absolutely outrageous. The smoking section was not the only area that had no room for guests- it was pretty much the whole boat. No places to sit, eat, or relax. People held their belongings in the seats to save them for themselves and staff did nothing about it. They encourage tipping but the bar and everywhere else already takes 18%. I spent $700 on drinks and only got tipsy once. They short you on alcohol if you look young and not to mention how racist most of the staff is to Americans and white people in general. I witnessed multiple underage girls sitting at the bar while creepy older men bought them drinks. The priorities of staff and security is twisted and appalling. The food was awful and every single thing is overpriced. I didn't pay for a boat ride to Puerto Rico. I payed for a luxury cruise that was actually nothing close to luxurious at all- with children running around like it's some sort of daycare. You don't get your money's worth, better off flying to the destination you'd be travelling to. You can't even communicate with the passengers you arrived with, without paying $5 on their stupid app. Water is another $4 unless you don't mind drinking the same water they use for your toilet. I see why they call it Carnival, nothing but a boat full of clowns.
I have been cruising for 30 yrs, and I am a Platinum card holder, and this is the first time I have an issue that I need your help to resolve. I had a cruise set up for March 2023, I had 2 Grand Suites, well I have a family emergency and so I had it rescheduled to March 2024, Booking numbers for 2 Grand Suites are #H40GQ7 and #D8C8C3, but I have $600.00 on board Credit on booking number #H40GQ7 that I would like transferred to my new cruise in March 2024. The other Grand Suite booking number is #D8C8C3 and I have $250.00 on board credit that I would like transferred to the new cruise in March 2024. They said that you all have to approve it, so please transfer the money to my new cruise in March 2024. I would appreciate it. I love cruising alot and I love Carnival. Thanks
I'm writing to let you know I was not happy on my last cruise on the Mardi Gra ship,my booking was V46QF3,my room was not clean daily and I had sewer problems in which I did report it to customer service,the room service was bad decayed the housekeeper only came every other day sometimes every 3 days to clean in which she gave clean,I just book another cruise (booking number is K5C5R2)to day on the Sunshine to the Bahamas so I hope this one is better than the other one.If possible give me and feedback on my review from my last cruise,thank you.
I booked two rooms on a cruise in July 2022 and paid them in full on September 2022. In November 2022 I called and upgraded my room to a suite for an additional 2100.0025 days before the cruise I called to see if another room was available for friends. They said they would be at a prevailing rate because they never cruised before. I then asked if it could go under my name and he said you can't have two rooms in your name. I proceeded to tell him I already did. Well the lies and threats started there. First he said they would cancel the other room even though it was paid in full then told me I needed to pay additional money for the rooms. I asked to speak to a manager. She offered to fix it. She first said my sons room needed someone ever 25 in it because he was 19? I was confused so I looked it up on their website and it was not true so I informed her of their policy and she said ok no worries. She said she fixed it and was sending an email in the process my transfer to the port was deleted and she told me I needed to speak to someone else to fix it. She transferred me then I got the email and she removed me from my suite and put me in my sons room. I asked the lady if she could transfer me back to the person I was speaking with. It went down hill from there. I got another person who was rude and said you just can't keep changing your name on rooms? What? I tried numerous people to explain what happened and no one would listen. After 7 hours on the phone the only way I was getting back in my suite was to pay a additional 1300.00. Why would their website allow you to book rooms if they are not allowed. I personally think it's a scam to get more money from you. Why did they not catch the issue? They also told me if I arrived to get on they would have charged me then, no exceptions! Never again will I book a carnival cruise and neither should anyone else!
I have cruised with Carnival like 10 time. But ever since Covid hit everything went Downhill. The smell is nasty, the food is not at all what it used to be. You tell them that you have a problem with your room, they dont do anything but tell you (oh someone will be there) when no one showed.We booked a trip to Alaska and told them we needed handicap accessible. But they couldn't accommodate us, someone already had the room. They switched ships on us that's why we couldn't get the room. WE WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN WITH THEM. Marijuana Cruise Line!
Customers service is HORRIBLE when we asked them to pull the call as they say the call is being recorded well pull the call they will tell you they cant pull the call.
Costumes service tell you one thing and it's lie when you ask them to review the call they wont.
Please save your time and money and go with another CRUISE LINE..
My recent bad experience with Carnival started even before I boarded the cruise. I was part of a big group of family members and had to board 2 hours after my family because they checked-in online earlier than me. If Carnival had communicated that the earlier you check in dictates the time slot you are provided then I would have checked-in earlier or at the same time as my family members. After trying to talk to their customer service multiple times they pretty much said "tough luck". I have two younger kids and the fact that they didnt seem to care tells a lot about how they look at customer experience. I even paid $150 for their "Faster to the Fun" package which made no difference in my boarding time. I'd rather give my money to another cruise line that believes in better customer service.
Evidently rescheduling has no benefit. Despite the enticing "credit" offered, you are better off cancelling and rebooking (with a different cruise line). They turn YOUR money that is put down when rescheduling, and start turning it into a non refundable credit. DO NOT RESCHEDULE! CANCEL! Won't be using carnival cruise lines in the future.
Answer: To Whom it may concern, This is my 4th email, that I have sent regarding a cancelled cruise. I have been cruising with Carnival for a little while now and really enjoy the trips I take. I was suppose to cruise out on October 22,2022 and because my elderly father was diagnosed with cancer, (I was informed today) the physician wants to get his plan up and going. I found it very disappointing that Carnival is deciding not to give me my money back. It doesn't have to be money, I asked for a credit to cruise later; I was told that couldn't be done. It is not fair that I'm having $1733.00 taken away from me. Life is hard and if I could be on that ship on October 22,2022 I would've without a doubt. I would like for someone to take a look at my concern, address my concern, and return my funds or allow me to use this as a credit in the future. I'm hurt by the diagnosis of my father and to learn that Carnival will not assist in my time of need is very stressful. My booking for this cruise is B4W1B8, my PIN is 2221. I will await a resolution to my concern. Please allow my money to be returned or give me credit for another cruise. $1733.00 is not easy to come by. I can't imagine them being so greedy for money. I don't even want the money back, I just asked for a credit for a future cruise. Answer: Called them and couldn't get my refund. They are thieves and do not care for there repeat customers. Stay far away from Carnival.
