I ordered a replacement mirror for my 2007 GMC Envoy and used their part finder service. Their website said GM******* from REPLACE was an exact replacement for the original OE part *******. When the part was installed it did not operarte completely like the original because it only has 9 wires and the original has 11 wires. The manufacture will not take the part back because I connected it and Carid will only offer in store credit (why would I want store credit for another part that probably won't be correct). I think that if your website and your company are representing products that claim to be replacement parts you should stand behind them completely. I also talked to two of their "Tech Support" guys that both said they would research solutions and never heard back from either of them.
Website pictured the running boards I ordered on my exact vehicle. When I couldn't make them fit I got runaround about these not being intended for my vehicle but tech support would see what they could do. After not hearing back I called and they said there was nothing they would do because it had been more than 30 days since I ordered. CarID is a sham website. Do not order from them, no matter how good the prices are.
Horrible service, and even after i was assured item would fit, didnt and will not honor on website details saying military discount or no shipping on returnes when they mess up.
I has a pretty good experience with these guys, they didnt give me a very good discount but after shopping i didnt see a better price out there.
Satisfied with my 2011 Ford Escape Black Mesh car seat covers. Customer service is horrendous. Employees are bluntly rude and will constantly interrupt/speak over you. Will never recommend or buy from CarID again due to experiences with customer service.
I Did order rear wind from carid. 6 weeks ago every time i call them they tell me is back order give them couples days and never call me back, they never receive that call them. Next thing i was call them to cancel the order the day i call, they told me the send wind. I did receive, a week later came broke and now they tell me ups broke the wing came in box split in half look is a use wind and like somebody try to glue. The telling me ups brooked. Carid.com is unprofessional and uneducated about car parts, go else where please pay a couple dollars more for piece of mind. I ordered light covers for a Challenger srt8 suppose to be here three days ago. And no calls to notify me of the deIay, I have to call them and of course they only return calls while working to pay for the purchase. They need a new business plan or they will not have any business. From me anyways! I would give them 0 stars but you have to give at least one poo. At least leave a tracking number when leaving a message this is why I called, duh.
I am realli disappointed in the service I recieved. I ordered Mesh Grille for my 2004 BMW 525i and was told by *******@carid.com to wait for a month because it has to be manufactured just for my car. She offered me free overnight shipping once the product becomes available. Today she calls me and tells me to pay $64 for overnight shipping. Total Scams. I will Never order anything from this company nor will I advice anyone to shop from this website.

To make it safer at night for her to drive she's working out of state I ordered them on april 2 they just shipped today April 10th but I got an email at 1:31am while I was calling its like my phone call triggered the email as if it's a fake to calm me down it says the delivery date is the 16th funny thing is by the time I get my headlights she will be gone the service by them is horrible please anyone let me know if they are gonna come through

Don't believe Google reviews on this site. As a company, you can apparently pay India/Indonesa 50 cents per positive review. That is the only reason I can think of why this company has a 4/5 rating.
They are basically corrupt. I tried to return a shipped item. Before they processed my RMA, they demanded they had to have the tracking number... even though I included the proper paperwork on the outside and inside of package.
Then they denied my $350 return because of missing parts. I unpacked and packed all the items (3 total... box of nuts bolts, 2 running boards).
THis company is untrustworthy.
I've oredered from them before and everything has always gone smoothly. Just yesterday I made another purchase of over $500 and am confident that all of my items will come just as hassle-free as last time. I also 'chatted' with their service representatives on multiple occasions and they were very professional and pleasant. They have yet to let me down and I will continue to shop with them.
Like a lot of other victims on this site, I ordered some plastic wheel covers for my car. They arrived from "Onyx Enterprises," and at the time I was like WTF, but whatever (except now I understand after looking at Site Jabber). I had to return them because they were the wrong size, so I followed the instructions on the RMA explictly (had to pay for postage and tracking to boot) and used the box and packing materials the covers came in.
Lo and behold, I get an e-mail from CARiD saying they can't refund my purchase because the covers did not arrive in "resellable condition." The reason? There was a "scratch" on one of the wheel covers. The picture they supplied as "evidence" was absolutely laughable - I wish I could upload it. People who would complain about that "scratch" are the same kind of people who would complain about getting a brand new flatscreen TV for free, but are mad that it's last year's model.
Anyway, CARiD said there was "nothing they could do". I guaran-goddamn-tee you that those wheel covers were immediately sold to someone else, and I'll bet you they don't even notice the "scratch" and are happy with them.
Stay away at all costs! I wish I had come here before making my purchase. No other reputable seller would treat a customer this way over these particular facts.
They got me! But lucky for me, not too bad. I ordered a grille-guard for a pick up truck and was told 2 weeks to ship. Then they changed that date 2 more times. Blamed it on manufacturer. In all it took over 9 weeks, Finally got it, A GO RHINO WRANGLER GRILLE GUARD. I drove all the way to my brothers house so he could help me install it. But guess what? No instructions in the box at all, and with 6 pounds of parts i could have used them. I know thats not carid's fault but over 2 months got me upset. I drove back home and printed the instructions from online. Try again tomorrow.
First order, they took 2-3 months to ship a body kit they kept "promising" would ship. As "retribution" they offered a $25 gift certificate toward a future purchase. When I went to buy floor mats using this gift certificate, the code given didn't work. When I connected through their online chat, the sales representative contacted billing and they said they would honor the certificate on floor mats that said "usually ships within 24 hours" a few days later, still without an order confirmation email, I contacted sales again and they claimed that the order would ship in a week and that billing decided not to honor the gift certificate after all. This is after I was quoted a price, and after I gave my credit card information...
Also, their website claims the floor mats are 20% off; however, they are selling these mats at MSRP, which is fixed by the manufacturer, and they CANNOT change the pricing. They essentially inflate the price, then discount to MSRP to appear as if you are getting a good deal...
After the floor mats I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with CARID again.

I purchased a Bull Bar online for my Toyota FJ, pay for it and then I am advised there was a mistake on the website with pricing not the part number just pricing. The Rep admits the fault sends my an email confirming their mistake and honoring the purchase. Next thing I know I get a bunch of emails saying they are retracting their offer? Poorest customer service ever. Spend a little more and deal with a company that backs their business practises these guys really do not care about doing the right thing. My next step is BBB and a few other Goverment Agencies, people need to know aboiut these guys.
Ordered a grill for a VW Jetta. It was the cheapest piece of junk! The body shop refused to install it. There was no access for the hood release. Because of the time involved to get an appointment with the body shop, I was 2 days past the 30 return policy and Carid refused to take the product back. I tried twice to deal with customer service and now I'm stuck with a POS. They told me to put it on ebay! Who would I want to stick with it? STAY AWAY from this company.
