We are terribly sorry for the situation with your product.

From what I see, the order was placed on your end without the assistance of our agents. The product ordered is advertised as "raw" and due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Duraflex products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. We highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. This disclaimer is shown to each client before purchase and it is impossible to proceed further to checkout page without acknowledgement.

Also, due to the peculiarities of a freight shipment, the box and the part inside must be inspected upon delivery and signed as damaged if any harm is located. This is the only way for us to submit the damage claim with the shipping carrier and proceed with either refund or replacement for you with no questions asked. The information about freight delivery is also shown during the order processing as pop up disclaimer.

If the damage was located afterwards, the recipient can only mark the concealed damage by reporting directly to the Freight Shipping Carrier.

In this particular case, the shipping carrier has proofs that the product was received in a good condition and signed for. Still, we will do everything possible to help you out with this situation.

This company is dishonest and has the worst customer service that I have ever seen I would highly recommend that you do not buy anything from this company. I would give a lower rating but you can't go lower than no stars, I am now a month behind on my repairs because of them.

Horrible service

I realize covid19 is a problem, that said I work for a dealership and we are getting it done. I bought parts from summit racing more then a week and a half after ordering from car id. Got my parts from summit already. Car id sends no up to date info. Got on chat... sat there for 10 minutes no contact. On hold trying to call for the last 18 minutes. I would highly advise you NOT to buy anything from them. I ordered parts on the 22nd of last month they say on the site it wont ship until july 14th. Ridiculous in my opinion. I would say there is a 99.999 chance I will never buy anything from car id again.

Sold me a steering wheel they didn't even stock then lied to me for 3 months in a row about how "the ship date was pushed back" you sold me a wheel you didn't even have! Stop lying! Stop selling parts you dont even have! A waste of time and money even dealing with this company, and the customer service is trash i was on hold 3 times for more than an hour and they couldn't do anything but repeat the bull$#*! email about pushing the ship date back.

My order was placed for coilovers and a wheel and tire package. They sent me an email the following day saying they could not fulfill the coilovers. After waiting on the phone for over an hour to speak to someone to cancel the tire and wheel package (less than 48 hours after order was placed) I was told they could not cancel the tire and wheel order. And they could not give me a deliver date at the time. I received no emails on tracking or status of order. Eventually the tires and wheels arrived 60 days later and they were damaged. I was told they do not refund tires and wheels, even thought they were delayed on delivery. I have tried to contact the company on multiple occasions. They do not have a callback service instead you listen to annoying voice that offers comic relief and sarcasm at every turn. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and requested a refund with PAYPAL who is more than receptive to the issue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSENT, ABYSMAL AT BEST!

I wanted to place an order and put a coupon at the end. Total came to 118 including shipping to my address and system asked for a payment method. I put my card in and... shipping from 15$ jumped to 26.50$... practically that erased the coupon. And added another 50% of the coupon value of 8$.

I called and ordered two items from this company. Let's call them Item A and Item B. 5 minutes after my order I called back to cancel Item B because I had been informed that it was not needed. I asked twice whether the cancellation of Item B would affect the shipping of Item A at all. I was assured that only Item B was cancelled and that I would receive Item A on time. A few days go by and I receive Item B, but not Item A. I go to the website and see that the same tracking number was assigned to both items and that it was shown that both were delivered. I contacted FEDEX who told me only one item was associated with that tracking number. On top of it all, I was charged for both items. So essentially, I ordered two items, but cancelled one minutes after the order. They still charged me for both, then sent the item I did not want, while saying they sent the other item, which they did not. I argued for 2 hrs with an online chat, 1 hr with a person on the phone, and was told that I could not speak to a supervisor, but one could call me back sometime after 48 hrs. DO NOT USE this company. They are absolutely horrid and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They will take your money no problem, but may or may not send you the item you purchased and make you jump through hoops to get refunded for the item that they have never sent!

I ordered rims with a guaranteed fit as stated on THEIR web site, they arrived took to mechanic to have mounted after he ordered tires. We dry fit and didn't fit as guaranteed on THEIR site. Leave the shop come home to call and start return I'm told must have photographic evidence they don't fit as told by the operator his computer says they will. I explain I can not put them on and take pics as it will damage the rim and you won't refund me as stated in your policy for wheels, I'm told basically too bad no refund without photographic evidence they don't fit as my computer says they will. Ask for a supervisor and told their is no supovisor available for this issue as basically it doesn't fit the requirements to get a supervisor as it's simple mount the rim take pics and prove they don't fit as my computer says they will. So back to mechanics, mount, scrap paint off inside of rim and take photos. Back home to try this return policy designed to rip you off, meantime I'm emailed forms explaining how to pack and a disclaimer on damage to rims Durning shipping will result in no refund or only a partial refund all designed to rip you off as you know your rims will be surprisingly damaged upon return ( my opinion) The reason this whole thing pi#*"s me off is I would have NEVER purchased these rims if their web site had not claimed GUARANTEED FITMENT, GUARANTEED FITMENT, GUARANTEED complete lie and a return policy designed to STEAL your money once you order rims. Keep in mind I have ordered from CarID several times and always satisfied but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER order rims from CarID as GUARANTEED FITMENT does not mean to them what it means to you so I say again NEVER! Manager calls me a racist when I asked if she was located in the US... like if I wanted to speak to an American we only have one race. She still had no reason why after I paid for items in my cart it added an item I didn't order that was for a Nissan truck and not my Toyota Camry! I called to delete the non ordered item within five minutes and two days later i'm told the stop request wasn't processed in time and I may have to ship the item I didn't even order back and wait for my refund. I will never order anything from this terrible company again!

We had to pay more charge which is normal however their instructions included them sending packing slip package and an email to get ups label. We got nothing and after spending a couple of hours on the phone with the wholesaler who sent the item and carid customer service we realize they have no idea what their website says. We were told it could be 3 to six days to get an email for a shipping label. Nobody got time for that.

Bought some headlights for my Toyota Tundra and checked multiple times that they would fit. Got one headlight after the first one and when I went to install they both didn't fit. Called to return them and they said they couldn't help me cause one headlight was past the 30 day policy. When I told them they had sent me the wrong part (healdights without headlight washer) they told me my VIN saysys my truck has headlight washers, my truck never had or has headlight washers and they still won't return it. F***k these people save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Ema Eb talked to me on the phone about an order I am trying to return. I was called and waited on hold over 5 times just to see where the return label is so that I can get a replacement. Seems simple right? Absolutely not. I ask for a supervisor, manager... anyone else. Nope. There is no one else who can help me because and I quote "the supervisors and managers are not taking calls at this time." She was very unprofessional and knew nothing. She was not willing to please a unhappy customer. She gave no solutions and stated I have to go back into the phone que to talk to someone else when I had just waited over 45 minutes to talk to her, who doesn't know how to do her job. You have lost my business and my company's business. We will go elsewhere to find better service and products that actually work.

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with!

I am not inclined to purchase from CarID again. I have been requesting from their website a status update and I have sent an email with no response. I called and after sitting on hold for an hour did not receive any additional information plus was told that I would receive a response that I have not received. I have requested a status update from their site everyday since 6/25 with no update. I will state, I do not care about what the answer is but I do care that I do not receive a response. I do not do this to my customers and I certainly do not expect to be ignored when I am the customer. I am the customer and if you want my money you have to "beg" me for the business, I should not have to "beg" to give a vendor my money. There is something fundamentally wrong when I a customer has to beg a vendor to do business with them.

After writing this review, I received an email stating that my order estimated ship date is now 7/3/2020. When I placed the order, it was verified that the items were in stock and would ship on 6/24/2020. This is not an acceptable way to do business since I could have ordered them from another source and be receiving them 6/30/2020. This is a company that only desires the sale and forgets about customer service. Repeat business is not there objective based on how they do business and I am for one NEVER going to order from this company again and I urge others to consider doing business with a different company that worships honesty and customer service over the almighty dollar for without those they are sure to not get the latter.

Order asm bumper for my s2000, came in damage. I reached out to them for a refund so i can buy new bumper. They gave me the run around and over me 25$ refunded and 25$ gift card. And they even have the nerves to asked for my vin# to my car saying they need proof i own one. Smh they so disrespectful. First and last time purchased from this company. Buyer be aware horrible company abd customers service. Look at the detached pics horrible, blaming me that i broke the bumper.
