Shame on you people. I had to have 2 teeth pulled and a partial made. Then my Cat passed away and used the card for that. Im paying on time. Required fee. $80.00 And there charging me $139.00 INTEREST. HOW IN THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO PAY DOWN ON THIS. MY PAYMENT KEEPS GOING UP. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
Scammers! Do not use. They will fine and fee you. I paid my balance and then they closed my account.
I had a bill for 4730 so I put it on the care credit for the 6 month no interest plan. I looked a couple weeks later and I saw I got charged a "security fee" of 70. I called customer service and they said it's a security if I get fired from my job. I didn't sign up for anything and the guy said he would unenroll me, I asked if he could take that charge off and he said no. I also asked about an 8.30 interest charge since I have no interest for 6 months. He said it was the interest from the 70. I get charged interest for a "security plan" I didn't enroll in. Scammers just trying to add hidden fees. I paid it off and closed it as soon as I got off the phone. If you have the money or can borrow, do it. Don't sign up for carecredit.
We used Care Credit because we read they had an interest free payment plan if installment payments were paid on time. We used it for $3,000 of dental work. Well the first installment had $7.00 interest and it showed that 14% APR was going to be applied. I called them and they said we have interest free, but your dentist closes the plan. I told them their information was misleading, but they didn't seem to care. I paid it off within a month and it cost me around $100 using their money for less than a month. My recommendation is to stay away from them. I could have borrowed the money at 3% from my bank...
Get a personal loan/ refinance/ home equity loan/ borrow from your sister if you have to- this "Bank" will have you paying outrageous interest charges very quickly. It is all very legal and upfront but the costs to use their money is astronomical! It will take years and years to pay off these "interest free" loans! You can get better rates from the shark down the street! DO NOT USE THIS "SERVICE" if you can avoid it.
Its a great deal with the "interest free" but if you can afford to pay the debt off quickly- you dont need the "deal" Its terrific if you already have the money.!

My "special" offer from the provider was pay off in 12 months with no interest or 24 months low interest.
I called care credit and asked if I selected 24 months but paid it off within 12 months if the interest was going to kick day 1 or month 13. I was told month 13.
Well, guess what? I was day 1.
I called and tried to escalate the issue. Asked for a copy of the recorded call, and 1. They can't do anything about. 2. cannot give me a copy of the recording.
All they can do is train the representative.
I made my purchase based on the information I was given and now I have a much bigger bill than I expected

Of course, when you are in the chair time is if the essence. So, you do it on the word of a young tart that hardly knows what she is talking about. As of yet, because we only used the service yesterday, I have no issues. However, there is a lot to be said about any company, Vet or Dental office that would be associated with this kind of business.
Read the reviews and you will learn the customer service number HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CREDIT CARD. Yes! They can reset a password for you or something like that. However, YOU CANNOT MAKE ONLINE PAYMENTS. So, why go on line to see you account? It does not matter what you see, there is no one to call when an issue might arise. As a matter of fact they will eventually redirect you back to the Dental office since THEY, not the credit card company sets everything for you pertaining to rate, legnth of payout time etc. So says all the reviews.
I will say to any medical, dental or vet office that is associated with this company with this horrible reputation, you cannot be far from them. I would not allow you to groom my dog.
A word to the wise, if it is not an emergency, get up, walk out and save up the cash. You will find that paying with cash your dental work is half price of what it is when using this credit arrangement. RUN!
I opened an account when my dog had to have emergency surgery. I've been on time with my payments. In October, I misread how much the minimum due was and was off by $3.00. I paid the $3.00 several days after it was due. I was then charged a late fee. Called customer service and got it reversed. Now, in looking at my bill for this month, I'm being charged $87.00 plus an additional $36.00 late fee. I was paying $49.00 a month. My interest rate hasn't gone up and I've never been overlimit. I sent them a complaint with my concerns. If they don't lower my minimum payments to $49.00, and reverse my late fee, I will close my account with them.
I signed up for this card for a vet bill and was told it was a 0% interest for a year. Great, I pay off what I can and pay interest on the balance like a normal credit card. This isn't the case. I had a $300 balance out of a $6500 balance from the beginning. Because there was any balance, they retroactively charge you the interest from the beginning balance. So my $300 turned into $1500, having to pay $1200. BS. Go to creditcards.com and get a real credit card with 0%. STAY AWAY!
I carried 2 balances and when I tried to pay off my balance that was CURRENTLY due they kept applying it to the other balance which wasn't due for another year. I have had other credit cards that DO NOT practice this. They allow you to pay off the current balance before applying any to the later balances. Very unethical; they clearly want you to get more in debt by charging the $750 in interest fees.
I have set up a care credit account to pay off dental expenses. My plan was to use a pay flex (HSA) account to pay off the card because I could pay this off tax free. Before signing up, I called to verify that I could do this and there would be no fees or issues.
After signing up, I realized that there was no way to pay online with my debit card. I had to deal with the hassle of calling up every month to make the payments. I dealt with this because I was told that they would waive the fees since there was no way to pay with a debit card.
However, this month I was charged a $10 fee - that would be added to my account. I was told that this fee may accrue interest (at almost 29%) until the card was paid in full. This is a completely sneaky and unfair way to cheat customers and make more money for stockholders.
I was told that the company simply cannot afford to pay customer service reps to process these payments! They charge almost 29% interest and they cannot afford to pay for customer service! I am contacting the CEO and BBB to report them. I will also let everyone know of their predatory behavior.
Terrrrible! You open a card with no fees or interest. What they don't mention is that if you don't have the balance paid off by a certain day, they charge you all the back interest. They don't even set your payments up to have the card paid by said mysterious date. Its a terrible scam! And their customer service is horrendous!
They charge $10.00 to make payments over the phone, somebody else cannot use their card to pay, to register on the site is impossible, to force you to call them back to end up paying the ten dollars customers service is very rude, and caustic, so you best bet is to not have to deal with them at all... try if you don't believe me!

I rather have hot poker stuck up my butt then deal with these Indians on the phone. They are stupid, ignorant, and rude. When you ask for a supervisor they leave you on hold. They called me on a Saturday and I could hear a baby crying and a cow going moo! He clearly wasn't calling me from an office. Then again he might have been. I paid off 11K in full for 7K procedure and they are still calling with balance I don't owe! Using this carecredit was the worst mistake of my life so I warn you against them because they will ruin your credit for no good reason.
I got this for Dental work 14 months ago totaling 1125 paid them 923 so far my promotion is about to end and they are saying I still owe them 987 dollars. I called to speak to them about it and got someone that doesn't speak English all he said was that I was charged interest when I told him it's a pro thing says it on my bill I should t have paid any interest at all he refused to fix it. He just kept on telling me to wait I asked to speak to someone else he asked if I had any more questions I said yes I need to speak to someone else and he hung up on me! Seriously don't use them. They will take your money and not even try to fix their mistakes! I will keep trying in the next month to get this fixed before I'm hit with 500 in more back interest charges like the guy said. Don't use them find another way!
Yes, I used this card it takes forever to get paI'd off,. When I finally paid it off. I received anot her card. I when to get glasses when I gave them my care credit card it was denied. I called to find out they closed my account. How embarrassing. This is not a very good company. I just think people need to know about this company. Thumbs down!
So I gotten charge 750.00 in interest for what. Because I didn't pay off my bill in a year. So now my card is max out because of this interest how can someone pay their bills if they company is taking avenge of others. Don't trust this company. They all are liers with this company. They never remind you about them charging you for a trying to pay off a bill. So please don't use this company.
Credit card online payment requires valid social security number, no problem right? Except when THEY input the wrong number, so call them and they say they'll send out the form or information to get it corrected, a few months go by and nothing, so call them back and suddenly they don't have such a form and they can't send you any info, they will however give you a fax number to send a copy of your social security card and driver license, don't have a fax? They will advise you to pay someone to fax your info to them to fix THEIR mistake. Horrible Customer service, can't pay online can't get email reminders, all due to their error
