I had a Care Credit card for over 6 years. I checked my mail in November and saw that I have a new care credit card with a master card logo on it. I decided to call care credit customer service and they told me it's an upgrade to my regular card due to my good standing with them and only a few people get this card. I asked her if I will be transferring my previous years with them to the new card she said yes, since its an upgraded card. My card limit on my old card was $6000. 00 and the new card was $6500. 00. I check my credit report and found out the new card show up as a new account, so I was furious and call back the customer service department, they all gave me different answers. I even asked her to let me go back to my old card they told me no I can't, so I asked her her what happened to my 6 plus years with you guys? She was clueless. I did the unthinkable closed my card! To hell with CARECREDIT. I don't need you keep all the rewards points I don't need them. I'm one customer don't need your business other creditors out there will treat their customers way better than you guys.
I agreed to a 12-month interest free loan with a medical provider. Instead, what I got was a 15. Something percent interest loan with eye-gauging "consumer protection" fees I never agreed to. This company is worse than a pay-day lender. DO NOT FALL in the trap!
Hello guys, I need a serious sender of MT103 direct, Plus or Manual download. Receiver is ready! Contact me via: *******@gmail.com
I have had this card for 9 years. I got it when I had to have surgery and had to come out of pocket $11,000. It was great for that. Made my monthly payments every month and in June 2018, I was able to pay it off completely. Since then, it has been at a zero balance and I have kept it to help my credit score. Just noticed that they dropped my credit limit down to $6,000. I called to ask why since my credit score hasn't gone down and there weren't any missed payments. They said it was because I hadn't used it. So let me get this right. I am a long time customer with on time payments and a zero balance for over a year and you decrease my credit limit? I guess they only want customers that are constantly charging and owing interest. This is bad business and I will never do business with them again.
Please don't allow your dentist or doctor suggest this card to you. You have to jump through hoops to pay your bill. They make their money on late payment fees and over limit fees. I charged a dentist bill and the office manager said it didn't go through, so then they ran it again and low and behold, now I'm over my limit! And they were nasty about straightening out their own error. Run from this card. It has been a source of great stress for me. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would.

When I wanted a cosmetic procedure, the Dr said he indeed takes Carecredit. I was happy UNTIL he explained what happens. Care credit charges 19% of the procedure EXTRA to the Dr just for the USE OF THEIR SERVICES! In other words... my procedure was 11,800... BUT IF I USE CARE CREDIT... The Dr is charged 2200 EXTRA for the option to use/ offer their service. so.OF COURSE THE DR HAS TO ADD 2200 TO THE PRICE IF MY SURGERY! That's the difference between doing the surgery and NOT doing it. It's not fair that I'm penalized for utilizing a service that's OFFERED as an option. I think the Dr should drop Carecredit and not offer it... not fair in the least. I ended up using my airline miles card, which gave me a free round trip ticket in return, then transferred the debt to a 0% card for 3 years. No way carecredit... No
Care credit ended its latest sweepstakes Oct 31. Winners were to be announced after Nov 18. It is Dec. 9 and no winners have been announced. Not all sweepstakes are legit this one certainly isnt
I just find out they charge me $250.00 on interest which is just ridiculous! I was not aware of this at all. And costumer service is the worse. Never again; be sure you know before sign with them.
I think that was the biggest mistake I did in my life... No matter either you pay or not, when the promotion is over, you will then be charged interest on the entire credit, even, if you have $1 left to pay,
BE CAREFUL!
My once trusted dentist's office talked me into this scam. While all I ever got at that office was a cleaning, Care Credit and their crony Synchrony Bank (Stinkcrony) claimed I got services costing $600, and they tried to tack interest on to that. I never received services totaling $600. I think the dentist, Care Credit, and Stinkcrony are in this together to defraud patients.
In April of 2018 I signed with CareCredit to help cover the cost of dental work. The cost came to a little over $7,000.00. Supposedly, I was put into a promotional program that waved the interest for 12 months. However, I do not recall signing up for this program.
On October 31,2018 it was stated that if I paid the balance of $1,258.88 for the deferred interest per the Promotional Balance my account would not be charged that amount. However, this promotional program is a scam and should be investigated and shut down! Out of the $7,000.00 owed I have paid $3,632.00 toward that balance and as of today the balance owed is at $7,039.73. (This past June I canceled my card.) I can understand having to pay some interest on this account but nonetheless a portion of these payments should have gone toward the principal to pay down the balance. As it stands today, this account may never be paid off during my lifetime. After seeing CareCredit advertise on FaceBook I became upset and called them to voice my concern. They responded and sent me the contract I signed. However, I did not see the promotion program attached to this contract. I believe they are a fraudulent company, misleading consumers with false advertising. What me upset is that I check my credit report every week to stay on top of my accounts. I saw where I was charged interest on this account which caused me to be over the limit thus affecting my credit scores. I immediately called CareCredit again this morning and was told the promotional program is automatically renewed and even though I canceled my Care Credit Card with them, I'm still charged monthly interest on this account even though it's closed! What other company does this? I have paid my payments on time every month and have never been late! I had no inkling that I signed with CareCredit, a company who scams its consumers. The BBB, and Government agency's need to get involved and shut them down and reimburse every consumer the interest they paid to CareCredit!

Worst scam ever and the doctor who pushed it on me. He seemed to think I could pay off $4000 in a year. I told him it would be impossible for me and pay my mortgage and other bills. He pushed anyway said that my medical insurance would not pay for the procedure I needed and if I used the old fashioned method I would never be able to have the modern one ever. I mad my payments on time above the asking amount but was not able to pay it off. I got my bill down to 2800 from 4000 and because the promotion ended I was charged $500 interest bringing my balance back over 3000. And I had made an enormous payment to bring it down. I'm ready to pull my hair out. Don't ever use this card or believe a quack doctor again.
This is a total scam. When you sign up for it they will tell you that if your charges are above a certain amount you will not pay interest for 2 years. The total of my surgery was $5000 and I didn't get the 2 year no interest promo that I was promised! Why? Because The Doctor, the anesthetist and the surgery center are all different providers so each provider will charge you a different amount and you will end up with 3 to 4 different accounts on the same credit card. Each one with a different due date and a different promo. So I end up paying $750 in 6 months, $1200 in one year, $1650 in 48 months at a discounted interest of 16.90% and $1400 in 48 mos at a discounted interest of 16.90%. All with different due dates. If you call to try to understand their very confusing statement which is already charging you interest, even though you were told you wouldn't pay interest for two years on the total amount; you may get a person with a strong accent that is very impatient because you are too "stupid" to understand their wonderful promos! I told her I was promised 0% for two years and her answer was that I had their wonderful promo for two years of 16.90%. I am so freaking mad that I didn't put the total amount on my credit card which offered me 0% for one year! Do not get this credit card!
Do not get this credit card! You will be charged interest in full at 28% after the promotional offer and they do not explain what deferred interest means until after you have been charged. Your even better getting a random credit card that this. I was charged $1,579 in interest, just this year! And the rating on their website is not real. I cannot find the place the leave a review as a customer. There is NO WAY they have a 4.8 review.
I got a care credit card a year ago when I had emergency dental problems. The transaction was $1,100 and I got a care credit card to pay it off. It's been over a year that I've been paying and I still owe them $1,651 on a $1,100 transaction.
It used to be GREAT! Synchrony Bank took over, and watch out. Paid off my balance in two months and got charged a bunch of interest I wasn't aware of. They would not fix it after four phone calls. Reps and supers are instructed to say it's out of their hands. Predatory business practices, condescending attitudes, broken promises, and sky high fees even paying early. If this sounds like your cup o' tea, you've been warned.
I was almost done to pay off my balance by next month. Only to check my account and to find out they charge me for interest of $150.! That was less of the amount I had left to paid off. I always made my payments on time that amount was ridiculous... worst bank ever.! I had to pay this today just so I can be done with this $#*!ty credit card. It hurt me to paid that amount knowing I only had $80 left and jumped to $150 more in interest never againnnn!
This company is a scam. They are charging HIGH(26+%) interest after 6 months. Then if you pay a portion off they still charge you interest on the total amount even the portion you already paid off. Then if your doctor, vet, ECT. Extends the 12-24 month option they charge them for extending to you a longer time to pay it off with no interest. This company is a scam. After I pay them off I will NEVER do business with such a slimy company again. They are taking advantage of people's hardships and desperate moments that's such a low class move. After finding this out I'm done! You have been warned.
