Received notice in the mail that Synchrony closed BOTH of my Care Credit accounts AFTER they were both paid in full. Had NEVER missed a payment on either account. This action dropped my credit score by 20 points. This is wrong on so many levels. I would have gladly closed them myself if I had been notified ahead of time of their decision to close them. And they were being used for our senior dog who is 12.5 years old with congestive heart failure. Synchrony Bank really CARES? That's a joke.
The only reason I applied for Care credit is to get the Sonicare toothbrush promotion. I work in a provider office. One of my patient's applied for care credit after I did and received her Sonicare toothbrush 2 months ago. Every time I call no one can tell me anything. I keep getting the run around about it has to be after 2 billing cycles that the promotion can go out. It has been 4 billing cycles and still getting transferred or given different phone numbers to call. I will NEVER recommend care credit to anyone just due to horrible customer service!
I called into get help with getting into my account and had some young girl give my crappy directions and it didn't work. She was rude and mouthy.

Unprofessional, crooks. These people will rip you off anyway possible. It's not worth it, just put your medical charges on a credit card with no interest terms. I paid my balance off with CareCredit and closed my account immediately.

I am well aware of how credit works and everything but the organization that referred me to CareCredit must have not had a clue what they were talking about. Care Credit nickle and dimes you with some card security charge which is ridiculous. I have never seen it before but I would not recommend them or Synchrony Financial. In addition their terms are super confusing.
The last two of my derogatory accounts have been removed from all 3 credit reports, loans and maxed out credit cards paid off thanks to CREDITSMARTSPY@ GMAIL DOT COM. I see so many bad reviews about Care Credit but they are all attached with some excuse of why people were unable to keep their agreements. If you make payments on time you will have the confirmation info. I was so nervous to open an account with them after reading all of these reviews about how terrible they were and how dishonest they were and its just not true. I ultimately had no choice but to open the account anyways when my dog became sick. I realized that reputable doctors and veterinarians recommended their service and so I had to try it for myself. You CANNOT make minimum payments and then be surprised when you don't pay off your agreement within the time frame. I had 6 different agreements with them each to be paid off within 6 months and took out my calculator and found what I needed to be paying per month. It was really simple. It was the only way I could afford care for my dog and I've paid off 4 out of 6 purchases with literally no problem. They don't hide the information from you to try and take your money. It says on each bill what the consequence is for not paying off your agreements by a specific date. If you know how to manage your money you will be fine. I would recommend their service to my family and friends. I'm glad I didn't trust the reviews.

I submitted my information and received an error on the Website; however, CareCredit still created the account for me.
I now have two accounts, one for my wife's (she created her own after I told her it wasn't working for me) and an account for me. Obviously had the website not failed then we wouldn't have submitted two applications. I called and tried to get them to remove the secondary account and notify the credit bureaus and they refused.
Stay away from CareCredit!
They make you go through this whole process I had a card with them in the past closed it and they declined me for a new application it's a bunch of $#*! I would just apply for a regular credit card they have lower interest rates and they are better to deal work with dont waste your time

I have been using carecredit for YEARS and they finally messed up and did not take any responsibility for it. I pay 100 dollars twice a month, sometimes a little less depending on my balance. The last payment was was made at 156.00 (which is what I owed to my vet) and I did this to enter their cash back giveaway. I received a confirmation email that the payment was processed and even got a confirmation number. A few days later my account balance doubled. I called my bank- they never received confirmation of a payment nor was a payment withdrawn from my bank account. I spoke to at least 5 robotic and foreign costumer service representatives that kept repeating themselves. They kept telling me there was nothing they could do to correct their mistake because NOW I have a large balance to pay. They probably did it on purpose so the interest rates on my account went up. I called finally and spoke to another person- a manager. He told me they wouldn't charge me late fees or interest... wow, so freaking helpful. Where is their costumer service even based? India? I don't trust this company anymore and I am going to further investigate this. Something sneaky going on with them. Their CO should be ashamed of himself.
Called in to finalize approval for dental care loan. Representative was rude and disruptive. How she has a job is beyond me. Supervisor offered the customary meaningless apology. These people don't care. Spend your money elsewhere. And for what its worth I never leave online reviews but it was seriously that bad!

My credit has been up and down most of my adult life due to marriages and divorces and self employed work, my current numbers were approx. 760 at Experian and only 698 at Equifax and Transunion. I was looking for a way to remedy the low numbers to be consistent with Experian. All three agencies were still posting old credit issues that began during the recession and along with my credit card debts. They owed me a refund and all of sudden they don't have any history of payments made. Worst customer service ever and they run u around in circles.DO NOT WORK WITH THEM

Made my account for my knee surgery the morning of, was told it was active
Went to use it and ended up being on the phone for an hour because they said it wasn't active yet.
Now that my first payment came around, I made it on time and still got charged a late fee the next day so I made another payment along with a report. 2 days later I check and they took BOTH payments. Now my account is negative and I won't get my money back for another 3 weeks. CANCELLING AS SOON AS ITS PAID OFF
I paid off my full balance of over $400 at the beginning of the year. I've never been late paying even the minimum due. I use this card once or twice a year for vet visits. I just recieved a letter that my account was closed because of a random credit check. My account is & has always been in good standing with this company so BEWARE they only need you as a customer when you have an outstanding balance I'm sure them closing my account is gonna do wonders for my not up to par as it is credit score THANKS FOR NOTHING CARECREDIT HORRIBLE COMPANY USELESS CARD
