I received my car-cover from carcovers.com on October 6th, 2019. It was purchased to cover a classic Rolls Royce.
Cover seemed a very good fit upon covering the car. I was very glad that I had the cable and lock which was included with purchase, as well as buying the "gust strap". After covering car and adding cables and straps, the cover looked like it was "custom made". I was hoping that cover would prevent rain and snow from penetrating the cover? I did not have to wait very long!
On Wednesday, October 8th, I took pictures of one of my cars against a backdrop of lovely fall colors of trees at a park. Beautiful. The real test for the cover though came the very next day on Thursday, October 9th, and all day October 10th, as a very strong and intense early winter storm hit us full on like a ton of bricks. A Colorado low moved in and over us for 2 full days with very strong winds of up to 90 kilometers per hour (downing 100's of trees and tree branches in the area), and dumping well over 30 centimeters of heavy wet snow (see attachments). Needless to say I was worried as to whether the cover would hold up in this un-expected and vicious winter storm? It did. And boy, was I glad I had ordered the gust straps from you, 'cause if I hadn't, the cover (ANY COVER) would have blown off the car with the very strong, almost tropical storm winds.
The storm and snow took about 4 days to clear. When I could get out of the house, I went to the car and partially un-covered it. To my delight, NO water or snow had penetrated the cover. The car was DRY, with no water at all getting through, with only a slight bit of condensation (humidity) at back end trunk lid, otherwise perfect!
Your cover withstood one of our most intense storms in memory, and came out with flying colors protecting the car as you had stated. I could not be happier with having bought from you. Thank you carcovers.com
