Be aware that Cabtransfers is a brokerage, deposit collecting company only!

Amy Millington will tell you what you want to hear at the time of booking and when she has confirmed she has your money, NO CARD payments accepted, she will not accept or return your calls being a coward and faceless person she is. See other reviews to confirm.

My advice is to contact your appointed driver as soon as possible and work out with them what you have booked and what you want. Mine was brilliant I contacted them to introduce myself and found out we were heading into a cluster F&%K and Amy wouldn't take or return my calls. The driver sorted out everything so next time you want a service you go direct to your driver cutting out cabtransfers.

Booking confirmed but no taxi turned up and claimed they didn't have a booking. Absolute rubbish, I would strongly advise avoiding.

Booked a cab for New Year's Eve and our driver, Iqbal, was fantastic. He provided a great service and tended to our needs perfectly. He was very friendly and got us to our destination safely and on time and also returned us home safely. We could not have asked for anything more and will definitely look to use his services and those of Minibus Taxi Transfers again.

Took my booking and confirmed would attend at 01.15. Tried over 40 times to phone them when they didn't arrive. Also, attempted to email them yesterday, reply was just as bad as taxi service " we will be with you shortly"

I have used this company a couple of times before and experience was satisfactory. On this occasion it was awful. Once I had paid deposit communication from Cab Transfers evaporated. I must have emailed the agent 10 times with 0 response. When you ring the office and ask for your agent there is hesitation and you are then told they are "unavailable" (or more like they cannot be bothered to deal with your request). The procedure is pretty obvious, they find you a taxi to meet your needs, you pay a deposit, they then do not give you any details of who you are travelling with, e. G company name, driver contact details etc. This then prevents you from speaking directly with the taxi driver (to confirm, amend journey or god forbid negotiate a better price and cut Cab Transfers out of the loop!). If you do manage to get through to Cab Transfers and ask when you will receive your drivers contact details they promise "by the end of the day" or "it will be done this afternoon". False promises just to get you off the line.

I will not be using them again due to the general lack of customer service! They get the job done but in a terrible manner.

Never again

Well no words can describe just how very unprofessional this company is, I am very pleased to say that after two weeks of continuing to ring the company I did get my refund back in full.
I had a mini bus booked for 11 girls for my hen weekend to take us to the train station. I received a call to say the driver was stuck in traffic, and would be a couple of minutes, 15 minutes later and still no mini bus I rang the driver who claims he had broke down. When I asked if he could arrange other transport he said no and that he had already refunded my money back to the company. We then had to ring friends and family to get us to the train station and consequently we missed our train and had to get another one. Whilst on the hen weekend I rang the driver again to confirm our return journey from the station and the driver said he wouldnt be picking us up either as he had returned the money, so again we had to ring round friends to get lifts.
I rang the company and spoke to Lucie Beard who seemed very apologetic and said I would get my refund that day, well of course that never happened, in fact each time I rang the company there was each time a different excuse why i couldnt speak to her, one of excuses was'she was on a shopping break'. I spoke to various people Amy Millington, Helen, Marco, all very rude on the phone. I was told to 'go away and stop wasting there time' several times the phone was put down on me, I was told to make a claim through the small claims court, the list is endless. Lucie never replied to any of my emails, no one returns any calls. I dont believe there was ever a mini bus in the first place. I kept ringing them, sometimes up to 8 times per day and from no where I had a refund.
I do as a rule review services first but on this occasion I did not until it was too late.
Do not use this company! Stay away. Ive no idea how this business is still allowed to operate, I will be reporting the service I have received to the relevant people.

Cabs turned up instead of bus, not at the same time. Last one was going to be 20min after booked times so canceled it and paid for normal cab in taxi rank. This completely disrupted the meeting. One dropped people off at the wrong place. Half dozen phone calls and numerous emails to "Lucie Beard" to receive complaint procedure... all unanswered.

Really wish you could give no stars as they do not even deserve 1.

Terrible company and everyone who works there obviously knows it. When you first call they put you through to a very polite agent who claims they can fulfill your exact requirements. We booked a mini bus for 3 days and on day 1 it didn't arrive then day 2 and 3 were outsourced to a local taxi firm for a considerably smaller cost to them.

Have called on many occasions (and still calling 3 weeks later) to claim back the money and only get through when I use a different number and a different name. Then when they realise who I am they either hang up or continue to say there is nothing they can do.

These people are fraudsters and thieves. Stay away from them.

Arranged and pre-paid a £250 return journey for a corporate day out - was in regular contact with them and sent multiple emails confirming payment and the journey details.
Nobody showed up and when called the company and driver they had delegated to, he knew nothing about either journey booked and was too far out from where we were so he couldn't pick us up in time. V embarrassing having to make our clients wait. Called emergency number they had provided and nobody picked up. Have asked for refund and nothing has been refunded as yet.

DO NOT USE.

I spoke with Amy Millington, countless emails between us and spoke and text again two days before the event to confirm my booking was ok. We were a wedding party of 44 leaving the venue, i had booked a coach and was surprised to find three mini cabs who turned up and were told to do a shuttle to the hotel. They demanded payment from us and said there would be no transport without payment. I explained that i had already paid £195.00 to the company that they had received a phone call from to act on of their behalf. I had emergency numbers with me, no one answered the phone. I have reported Amy Millington to the Police along with the company. I will also share this on facebook. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - DISHONEST, FRAUDSTERS. Read all the other reviews, why are these people still allowed to advertise and take customers money without being penalised?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO BOOK ANY TAXI.,

I'M REPORTING THIS COMPANY TO POLICE, AS THIS IS FRAUD / SCAM.

BOOKED A TAXI, PAID FULL AMOUNT. LESS THAN 24 HOURS ON SUNDAY THE THIRD PARTY COMPANY CALLED TO ME TO CHECK PICK-UP TIME AND PLACE. THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN RIGHT ADDRESS NOR THE PLACE.

THE THIRD PARTY CANCELLED THE BOOKING ON SUNDAY AT 4PM. IT TOOK MORE THAN 2 HOURS TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY AND ENDED UP PAYING DOUBLE THE MONEY TO GET TO AIRPORT.

ITS HAS BEEN MORE THAN 2 MONTHS, CALLED 6 TIMES, SEND 10 E-MAILS, STILL NO APOLOGY, NO REFUND AND THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD BY THE GUY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PHONE.

CAN WRITE ANY REPORT OR CAN REPORT TO ANY BANK / AGENCY OR EVEN POLICE.

HOW DOES THIS COMPANY STILL ABLE TO BE CON PEOPLE., DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Rude and unteliable

This company is not worth using. They confirm yoyr booking then call just before you are due to be picked up and say they will pick you up an hour later as they know what is best for you. They hang up on you when you try to confirm the new pick up time and then don't even call but email you -with no explanation as to why- to say they are cancelling your taxi. Rude man on tbe phone desk who is also supposedly the manager and another woman who also has no phone manner what so ever.

I recently booked a taxi with the Edinburgh arm of CabTransfers- called CabsEdinburgh dot co dot uk. I paid a deposit by debit card on the understanding that I'd pay the balance in cash to the taxi driver. It emerged the 'balance' was in fact the whole cost of the trip. So this outfit charge you 100% mark-up for the privilege of booking you a taxi. 10% or 20% might be just about acceptable but this amount is gross. I took advice from the Citizens Advice consumer helpline - apparently this is completely legal, if unethical. Please avoid these jokers! I'm sure they also operate under several different names in several different cities, so beware. There must be plenty of other firms that play the same game; go for a taxi company that is local and/or has reviews you trust.

Taking your deposit over the phone - arranging for a BACS transfer with the understanding that the phone deposit will be returned in full. LIES, ALL LIES - they have the BACS transfer but I am still waiting for the phone deposit to be returned to my account.
What a way to run a company!
