Avoid at all costs

They were very efficient at the outset with quotes and as soon as I paid the deposit were utterly useless and non communicative. By sheer luck we got a text directly from the eventual cab company asking for clarification on an address. I only realised then that they were a booking agent. I have subsequently received confirmation from the company that is actually driving us, but nothing from Cab Transfers. Real cowboys. Avoid at all costs

Booked a transfer, got a quote and 5 minutes later got emailed a higher price. When i questioned the price difference I was told I was given the wrong price and the higher price was what i had to pay if i wanted the transfer... needless to say I told them what they could do with their higher price and transfer ;)

Booked these guys to collect my elderly parents in law from Heathrow and bring them to Wokingham. They never showed up which meant my in-laws were waiting for over an hour in the cold then had to catch a really expensive taxi. No reply to email explaining why and no apology. Disgusted.

Full day hire

We had a service for all day hire in London our driver Was fantastic from start to finish took us to every location and even finished half hour Later than confirmed. I seen all the reviews before booking and I was assured by my booking agent the driver confirmed will fulfil the journey requirements. Once booking you recieve your driver details which you can call and confirm the booking which I did.

Like all the other posts, when booking and taking money they were great, even picked up on time and advised us where to meet to picked up at 8pm. We were all there on time, no sign of the mini Bus. Drivers contact number just rang out. Then spoke to Amy who advised he was 2mins away. Of course he wasnt! He never showed up! We all had to make other arrangements to get back and missed a plannned meal while others missed train connection! Joke company please avoid!

Horrendous service

They take a huge deposit 155 pounds in my case and fail to deliver a service, avoid this company they are a booking company that takes your money without providing what you ask for. An absolute disgrace.

I booked a trip online for my daughter for a trip from Southampton airport to Portsmouth. Upon arrival of the flight, there was of course no driver waiting. It was on a Sunday evening and there was no way to reach anyone in this bloody company. Never book any trip with them and dont even think about it. Just run away

Can any one tell me where this office is? (I say office it's probably a kitchen in their house) or home address of any of these con artists.

Lovely and very helpful when they're taking your booking and chasing deposit. As soon as deposits been sent don't expect to hear from or be able to communicate with your contact again! Tried by phone and email many times to confirm my booking prior to date of collection (group of 13 going away for a hen party) - no response to calls or emails. Had my doubts but waited for them on the morning of the hen party and no bus arrives. No answer from office phone number. Spoke to a disinterested man on the "emergency number" - told he would look into it and call back - never happened! Made alternative arrangements to get to our destination at extra cost to us all! Called after the hen weekend to request refund of deposit - spoke to same disinterested man, can't remember me calling him on Saturday and once again will get back to me (without taking my name or number)! Not holding my breath and won't be wasting any more money on calling this shower! Will be reporting them!

Lucie and the team did organise for us a trip in Scotland.
We had for the weekend a 16 place Mercedes Bus with a very good service and the driver was always on time.
I can only recomand cab transfer

Take your £80 deposit then don't pick up 15 girls for a hen party, hang up the telephone every time you call. Called the office over 20 times to be told someone will get back to me, non one ever calls back & the staff are just damn right rude.
I would advise no one to use this company! I will not let this go until I get a full refund!
I too will be contacting the police, banks & fraud company!

We booked a taxi for 15 people with Amy. I paid them £35.00 deposit and the further £200.00 was due to the driver in cash on pick up. The taxi arrived we paid the £200.00 cash when he pick us up for the journey the then advise he will be back to pick us up at 11.45pm. When it came to 11.45 he did not arrive. I call the drivers Andy about 20 times and no response. The following morning i called the mobile number and very rude man advise he will need to speak to his driver and call me back. This never happened so i called the company to advise them of the situation and they said they will need to speak to the driver. Days went pass and they both kept advised they needed to speak to the driver. The company now say the driver Andy is liable for the refunded as he took our money and the drivers says it down the company. The company have now said they are no longer using the driver and will refund the £35.00 they took from me and will be in my account and i still have nothing and the driver is still saying its down to the company who took the booking. I am now going through the small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NASTY CON ARTISTS.

Cabtransfers is a dodgy outfit of previous scam artists posting as a third party private transport provider - they are anything but.

Unfortunately we were scammed and hope that others don't get fooled by the same tricks. A women by the name of "Lucie Bird" poses as a sales/booking agent, matching customers to a private bus/shuttle/driver. We received extremely poor customer service following full payment (a mistake in hindsight).

After making dozens of calls to the "company" and "driver" and realising it was a scam, I contacted my bank and fraud agency. The company's bank froze their account and tried to recover funds, but were too late. The company then all of a sudden got back in touch with me and advised me not to contact banks, fraud agency and the police.

I then received an email from "Josh" - but appeared in my inbox from "Yasser Hussain" threatening me with legal costs.

A simple google search of Yasser Hussain, Lucie Bird and cabtransfers is recommended. We wish we did this in the first instance before making payment.

Avoid cabtransfers, Lucie Bird and Yasser Hussain at all costs.

Appalling

Booked a taxi, never turned up.

Called to complain, the guy on the end of the phone was very abrupt and told me I needed to speak to someone else, at a different location. Reeled off a random number, which I dutifully rang, but it turned out to be for a completely different company with no connection. Obviously just trying to get rid of me!

Absolutely awful!

Awful service

We had a terrible experience with this company. I am a wedding planner and we booked a minibus from the wedding to afterparty for our clients' wedding day. Amy was unresponsive over email confirming the details we needed, it was never clear if we actually had the shuttle runs we needed as the invoice didn't reflect this, and then despite being offered the option of paying by BACS 72 hours beforehand in an earlier email, we were then told the driver would only accept cash on the day.

Then on the day the driver didn't turn up! We spoke to him an hour before and all was fine, although he did say there two minibuses booked when we thought we only had one. Then at pick-up time, his phone was off, and no sign of him. We called and called, with no luck, and 45 minutes later he still hadn't shown up. Guests ended up having to make their own way to the next destination. Then the following day he accidentally called a girl from my team - as soon as he realised it was her, he hung up! Incredibly dodgy. Avoid this company - just terrible.

Awful firm!

This is without a doubt the worst taxi firm I have ever dealt with! People would do well to steer clear of them. Booked a pick up for my son from Heathrow to Essex and return journey I week later for a fixed price. Was immediately asked for deposit of £50 by online transfer. Not able to speak to Amy, the booking agent, so sent email asking how I should pay the balance for the first journey. No reply. Taxi driver arrived with son asking for cash, which with the £50 deposit was considerably more than half the total agreed, but I paid as he was not going to leave otherwise. Several emails/ calls to Amy asking her to confirm outstanding balance - no reply. Finally got an email saying I should pay the return journey driver only the balance. He arrived 1o minutes late then argued about what he should be paid despite me showing him the email from CabTransfers stating what it should be. We had to wait while he phoned the firm. More delay. Will never use them again.

Sadly I could not advice anyone to use this business. Coach failed to attend for our day trip. Excuse after excuse was given to avoid refund. In the end took two weeks to claim the refund back. Utter disgrace!

I paid plenty of money for this company to send me a coach which did not arrive on the day and we had to complete our journey with cars.

I requested my refund but they were very relactant to pay for weeks. I hardly managed to get my money back.

Very dodgy business principles these guys have. I recommend you to look for other businesses.

First of all i was messed about with quotes for our journey. I was sent different prices and times for something which had already been agreed and deposit paid for,

Driver turned up bang on time and we were late coming out to him by about 15 mins. Driver told us there was a £10 late fee from us which we didnt argue about and paid.

Was supposed to be picked up at 12:30 am from a festival over an hour away from where we lived. When it came to 12:00 am i had no call so proceeded to call the driver to see if he had left. No answer. Must of rang about 30 times, all just ringing out. It came to 1 am and still no sign of the minibus or any contact from them. Then had to sort out another third party taxi to take us home for £150.

As a result we paid full for half a service then had to pay an extra £150 to get home.

Currently trying to get a refund however its proving difficult. Will be prepared to take them through the small courts.

Booked through these idiots, what a mistake. Should have done my research, all looked good when booked a month before required but I paid a deposit then silence. I asked for the drivers name and contact number, silence, asked where they were based, silence. So I cancelled and informed them I would do a charge back via my credit card company. Well that woke them up. Initially they refused to cancel and gave me a Manchester phone number, this for a taxi service in Essex, then said my 25% deposit was non-refundable. Alas for them they didn't state this in the terms and conditions, plus reasonable notice of cancellation was given. Threatened me with the full power of their legal department, I'm trembling here.
Shocking avoid like the plague
