It looks like you placed your order with a device listed under our "Mint" condition category. This condition category is for fully functional devices with no LCD defects such as LCD burns. During testing is was discovered that your device did had severe LCD burns (also known as ghost image) is the reason for the reduction on the offer amount. This defect is listed in our quoting process when placing an order on our site. We were able to send photos of the LCD burns for clarification on the issue, to which you responded with a screenshot you took on the device itself. The screenshot you took is a digital image of the current display on your phone rather than the physical LCD screen itself. The first device was found to be in the as-described condition and was actually network unlocked rather than locked as initially described for the carrier. We increased your offer for this first device because of this! The second device was also networked unlocked rather than locked as initially described which boosted your offer. The second device did fall under our "Fair" condition category due to excessive wear, which lowered your overall price for this item. The third device had a reduced offer as it fell under our "Damaged" condition category due to a non-working microphone. The person on the other end of the test call could not hear you while on speakerphone. The third device was also networked unlocked rather than locked as initially described. The fourth item had a crack in the back glass of the device. Any cracks cause the device to fall under our "Damaged" condition which lowered your offer on the device as it was originally placed under our "Good" condition category.

It was easy to work with Buyback Boss. I got a fair price and they were there to answer my questions. The transaction happened exactly as they said it would. I'd do business with them again.
I sent in two iPhones, listing them as "good" condition. When they received the phones, they upgraded one to "mint" and increased their payout accordingly. Their handling was thorough, taking the time they had estimated -- and of course I'm very pleased with the outcome!
The process was very easy and I received my money very quickly. This was the first time I sold a phone online and I will do it again!
Phones were in great shape but apparently they had "scratches" which both phones had always had protective glass screens and protective cases on at all times. They price was cut in half because of it and i didn't want to deal with the hassle of them returning it which I am sure is exactly why they pull that crap with ppl.

I'm sorry to hear this review feedback! I can assure you all of our testing results are true to the condition we receive every order in. I reviewed your order details and see the only reason for a reduced offer was due to the condition categories. It appears you placed an order for two devices in "Good" condition, however upon testing the order we found deep scratching on both devices which caused them to move into the "Fair" condition. Deep scratching is categorized as scratches you can feel when running your fingernail across them in our testing process. We also remove all screen protectors and accessories when testing each device for accurate grading. If in the future you would like to use us again (which we would love!), please feel free to contact us for any one on one discussion of your devices before placing your order so we can get you paid sooner with no changes in price.

I think the pricing is fair and direct. The customer service and tracking of the order is exceptional. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and available.
It was a great experience from start to finish. I really like being able to text the customer service representative who kept me inform every step of the way.
I had a nearly new phone that was an elderly family member's, and she suddenly passed away. I needed help learning how to contact the carrier to unlock it. Customer service helped me and the same representative kept checking in with me to update me and let me know the progress they were making in processing my phone. In the end, I was paid more than the amount I was initially quoted. Very satisfied and highly recommend!
