If there was an option for no star then they would get it. I ordered a dress and jacket for my daughters wedding. It was expensive but as it was for a wedding i didnt mind. The dress took 2 months to arrive and when it did it was too small and did not look like the image on their website.
I contacted them via email to ask to return the outfit and for a refund. They insisted on having a picture of me in the dress which i disapprovingly sent. They still refused to give me a refund. I would strongly advice everyone not to even consider ordering anything from them.

I ordered a dress for my daughter for her prom, the dress on the internet was beautiful lovely pink colour, so against my better judgement we ordered from ' British Dress ', We waiting nearly a month for it to arrive and to say we were disappointed is a under statement, the colour that came back a dirty grey, very poor quality! I emailed the company and they asked me to show them photo's in which I did, then they asked if I pay 70% cost to another dress they would change it, I said no I wanted a full refund and haven't heard anything from them since, even though I am email them everyday! I will be going to trading standards unless a full refund is given. I never complain but if this review stops someone else from buying this company it was worth writing!

I ordered a dress and jacket for my daughters wedding it was to small wrong material sewn all wrong offered me 8% refund what an insult went up to12% percent have now ignored all my emails when I said I was getting in touch with trading standards I don't know how this company is still trading they are keeping money off people knowing the goods are not up to standard I will not let this go I will be taking this complaint further

My god this is the worst company I have ever dealt with the quality is rubbish when I complained I was advised to take it to a dressmaker to fix and they would pay it was a 2 piece suit the jacket was pulled and puckered everywhere they told me but the dress is ok Dudu it was a suit I ordered if I wanted just a dress I go to the high street and not for 140.00 I sent the pics of dress as I said they told me to get it fixed at dressmakers no mention of the jacket it was beyond repair. Just wish I could post pics here your eyes would pop out your head had the audacity to offer 15 percent discount.? Spent more on the post. Can assure you the pics and the true item don't match

Words cannot express how disappointed I am with this site. Having ordered one dress, it arrived not quite like the photograph. Accepting this, I ordered two more for additional bridesmaids, only for the other two to arrive looking completely different.
The colour is different; the embroidery is COMPLETELY different as well.

I have repeatedly asked for details of how to obtain a refund, given that this is hard-earned savings for my wedding. However, I have simply been advised that there will always be a difference in embroidery, and then that the interval between the two orders was too long - despite ordering exactly the same dress! I don't believe it's unreasonable to expect the same dress to arrive!

Very upset and disappointed by the service received.

Please DO NOT order anything from this website. Its a huge SCAM. I ordered a dress for an event... the workmanship is very poor and absolutely awful. The sleeves are so tight, should be for someone who wears an 8. There is nothing British about this company... they should stop using the British name. They refused to credit me for the dress which I don't want despite their website quoting that they offer a full refund. The customer service department (if there is one) is a total sham. They want to offer me an 8% refund... WHAT AN INSULT So far I have sent 9 emails and still no refund. I have contacted Watchdog and hope they can help in some way. These people need to be stopped. They are thieves.

Please do not under any circumstances order from this awful company, they are liars, cheats and thieves and not based in the UK either! I ordered a standard size 16 dress for my son's wedding at a cost of £89.99 and a £19 shipping fee and when it arrived I could not try it on as the sleeves were so small! I immediately contacted them for a refund and there my problems began! It took over 3 weeks to get a reply, then they said it was custom made for me so could not be returned, again a lie! I politley told them to read their own terms and conditions which clearly states returns and refunds no problem but no they would not even offer an address a clear case of misrepresentation! After 20+ emails back and forth they offered me 14% refund which came to £11.89 a figure which did not even cover the shipping fees and a total insult! I am now stuck with a dress that Is completely useless to me in a size 16 that even my size 12 sister cannot get on! This company needs to be exposed and I have contacted BBC watchdog and also trading standards in the hope that somebody will bring this dreadful company down!

I strongly encourage people NOT to buy anything from this website. It is a total con. The company is not British at all as they are based in Hong Kong. My wife ordered a dress for our sons wedding which looked fantastic on their website. The reality is something completely different. The standard of the dressmaking is appalling and if that were not enough it was at least two sizes to small. Not a problem I thought as their returns policy is quite clear. If for a variety of reasons the garment is not to your liking then you can receive a full refund. NOT TRUE. After months and months of sending emails to and fro the best I could manage was an 18% refund. PLEASE PLEASE do not go anywhere near this company. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY.

I ordered my Grandmother a dress for my uncles wedding.
We carefully took her measurements and filled out the 'made to measure' form to ensure the dress fitted her perfectly.
In total the dress, made to measure fee, and postage amounted to £114.66.

When the dress arrived we were absolutely appalled as what they had sent.
First of all the dress looked nothing like the images on the website - it was a satin material rather than the chiffon advertised.
Secondly the measurements were completely wrong - the dress was far too short and too small.
Also the overall quality of the dress including the hem, stitching and embroidery was atrocious.

After emailing the website and complaining in numerous emails, the most they have offered me is a 10% refund. A complete joke!

I cannot stress enough to people how much of a con this website is. This is not a British company, the customer service is terrible, and the dresses are fit for nothing other than bin!

DO NOT BUY!

I had ordered a dress on line in jan as it was my sons wedding and was sent a wrong size not up to my order since then I have not received my refund. Although the website says full refund or remake. No refund has been made its now 8 months. I would suggest do not order anything from this site it does not come from the UK but from china.
