Stay away! We're Canadian and can't travel to the USA due to covid. Rude, dismissive, horrible and no refund!
These people gladly took my 330$ for tickets for a concert that was cancelled in March of 2020, it is now almost august of 2021! They keep saying he's going to reschedule, well I look online on his tour dates and he isn't rescheduling this year and through early 2022, lol. Listen, what kind of business does this? A customer pays for a service they get it or they get there money back. Do not I repeat DO NOT! Use box office ticket sales.
It is absolutely shocking to me that this company has good ratings anywhere online! I have to believe that their ratings are falsified. You can absolutely do that. Maybe if enough people review these people on online platforms, the truth will come out eventually.
I just paid over 500$ for 2 tickets to Radio Music Hall in NYC. It seemed strange to me that this place sent me to Ticketmaster to collect my tickets. They present themselves as a place like Ticketmaster when you are making a purchase. They even display a high star rating. (On every platform that I have googled legitimately, they do not have good ratings FYI).
So just for the fun of it I thought I will Google Ticketmaster myself and see how much they would charge for seats right next to it. They were $155 per ticket with minor fees! I then went to radio city myself to see what they would charge for seats right next to the ones I purchased. They were only $125 each!
Someone might say…. Well, you should have checked them out better, but everything looks to be on the up and up until you start really digging! Google has their reviews at 1%! So how do you see a different rating when you go to purchase? It seems that everything is OK until you find out they are purchasing the tickets off of Ticketmaster and then upcharging those tickets even higher! And then it is too late! Because they have a zero return policy and they take your money before they tell you that they are going to do that!
I am going to check and try to share this review everywhere I can so that this company can be shut down! The bad part is they probably have a lot of money LOL! If everyone does this that discovers the truth about this company however, maybe it will work eventually!
The tickets I bought were cancelled due to covid. Box office ticket sales doesn't offer a refund but they claim to offer a voucher for any other event.
When you try to redeem the voucher, they take your number and tell you to wait for their sales team to call you back.
They never call back. When you call them again, they tell you that you missed their call.
No phone record.
Good luck.
It's a scam.
Thought I was talking to the box office, when actually it was this outfit.
Charged me 2x what my ticket was worth.
Promised that I'd have them on my phone by the 15th. ( bought and paid for a month earlier)
On the 16th I raised hell, concert ( Cody Jenks)was on the 17th
According to the REAL ticket office ALL TICKETS WERE RELEASED 2Weeks prior?!
Yeah, I got em. But never again with these guys!
Be careful.
I was sold three tickets and told one was wheelchair accessible. It was not true. The kid that initially sold me the tickets lied. I eventually got my money back but not without being threatened. Do not do business with these people. They are true scum.
Long story short I bought 2 concert tickets my friend bought tickets for same concert same area but through ticketmaster I payed $398 he payed $158. I emailed them to cancel my order 2 hours later still no response called next day refused to refund my money but it cleared my bank the same day I called even though I emailed them to cancel my order the day before the money was taken out my account. Received a link to download & print my tickets clicked the link what do you know my tickets are coming from ticketmaster. I will never use or recommend anybody use this company. I'm actually on hold with them now it have been over 3 hrs. No answer. I will be reporting them to the BBB & my state DOJ.
Bought the ticket on 6/24/2021 for Steve Aoki, received an email on 6/26/2021 to inform me the transferred is completed and look for 2nd email for my ticket info. The 2nd email never received. Checked Junk/Trash boxes, nothing there, searched Echostage, no dice either. Called 6/28/2021, after holding for 2 hours, someone answered the call, saying they will need to recall the email and re-send me the email, asked me to give it until Wednesday. If i dont receive it, call them back. It's Wednesday, 6/30/2021, been on hold for 2 hours 25 minutes, still waiting for someone to talk to me. All my friends got their 2nd email but me, i don't know what's going on with this seller. I would go to Ticketmaster directly next time.
This company is a scam. I purchased tickets for the White Sox, it got rained out, and they gave me a voucher which I CAN NOT USE. Called Customer service and was on hold over an hour one day, and two hours the next. This is a scam.
Purchased two sets of tickets for USA Gymnastics event for junior and senior event, different times same day, same venue. Sent senior tickets twice, its now 2 hours before the event start time and can not get a human on the phone to correct issue. Terrible customer service, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
The number *******540 for Box Office Ticket Sales, has a male that answered the phone represented himself as the manager. If that is true, as he (Josh) states he reports to no one. It is sad and the worst excuse of someone in the customer service area. Josh needs home training and should work in a factory away from people. It is sad because the young man that actually booked my tickets was pleasant and professional. After I hung up and had another question I called back and spoke with a male that said his name was Josh. I recommend if Josh actually runs this company I will never do business with them again and will encourage friends not to as well.
I strongly advise anyone to never use box office ticket sales. They will not refund money even when the concert has been postponed for 2 1/2 years.
3 weeks after my payment I have no tickets.
I tried calling their number and was sent to another number where I just heard music for over 2 hours.
I called back on the original number and said that I wanted to speak to someone, they said they were going to transfer me again. I asked them not to as I had just been on hold for over 2 hours.
Their response "I don't care if you have to wait five hours I'm transferring you". WOW
I then emailed their customer service and have had no response at all.
I believe this is a scam site, avoid at all costs.
I bought tickes for an NBA game. The cost was 3 times the price of the tickets. Dont buy from them. They are thieves. They tell you the price might be higher but three times is too much. I would have bought on a better area for less. My mistake cost me 1400 bucks.
I paid for tickets venue was canceled because of Covid. Was promised over and over I would get refund, last conversation was when they sell tickets they will refund. Can't get a refund and now they never answer phones. My question is there a way for us to take legal action for our losses?
Boxofficeticketsales.com is a 100% fraudulent operation. As you can read at multiple sites such as sitejabber.com, they have an approval rating of 1.08 out of 5. The only reason it is that high is because you can't rate them as a zero and complete a review. They have owed us $1,600 for a cancelled Come From Away musical in Phoenix, AZ, since May 21,2020. They refuse to refund the money saying "they will refund the money in 30-60 business days or in the future when the concert going scene heats up." But they do not refund the money. They do, however, threaten us and say that if we file a complaint with anyone, our request for a refund will go to the bottom of thousands of refund requests.
On Friday, November 22nd, 2019, we purchased tickets for a May 30,2020 event in Phoenix, AZ.
On April 14,2020 we received an email from Ticketmaster Fan Support stating the event was canceled, and that we should expect to receive a refund in as soon as 30 days. Our contact for the refund was directed to a supervisor (in Nebraska) with 'orders boxofficeticketsales.com'. Since then, I have contacted the supervisor (per his suggestion, and email suggestion) every 3 months to get an update on our refund of 371.94. With each conversation, he has gotten ruder. Today, his push back was to accept a 12 month booking credit for a future event, "120% of my original tickets price paid" vs receiving the original purchase amount credited to the card. We prefer a credit.
No question, COVID-19 has disrupted "normal" and we aren't convinced all will be well in 12 months time.
We all have lived through a horrific 2020, and start to 2021. This is difficult time for most-personally and
Professionally. However, we have also been shown the fractures of many service providers, and the problems within their customer service responses. These experiences will help us choose more carefully in the future.
In the meantime, we will continue to pursue a credit.
Just as everyone is saying! We had a concert in March that got canceled due to Covid-19. I have called about 5-6 times being told the same thing every time. "60 business days and email has been sent" I have never received an email (other than my tickets upon purchase) and every time I call after the 60 days they say it will be another 60 days.
I asked to speak with a supervisor. And he said you will get me 5 days a week and he was the only person I could talk to.
Very disappointing. Don't use this ticket company!
I purchased Paw Patrol tickets in March 2020 that was cancelled due to COVID. Initially I was told I would get my refund in 60 days because they have to service all of North America. After 69 days, I was told it would be another 60 days per the email. There was no email. Then I got a very rude rep after that 60 days that was cussing after I asked for a supervisor. Today I called and was offered 110% refund that can ONLY be applied to a new event. I told him, I live in NM, a shelter in place state there are no other events. He said there are events in every city each month. Are you kidding me? I am suppose purchase another event, which does NOT exist in my city, during a deadly pandemic. His response is refunds to cards are going extremely slow, purchasing another event is your best bet. I will definitely be checking in the future to see who is selling the tickets. I cannot believe they are still in business!
I purchased tickets on 11/19/2019 for the USA softball game.It was canceled due to corvid and was told in June I would get a refund in 60 business days. I called customer service and was spoken to very rudely. Then told it would be another 60 days from September. Called again today and told I was ignorant and if I filed a claim they would not touch it for another sixty days. I was also told I was not a top priority to them. Please don't use this so called company
Answer: I haven't received a refund for tickets I bought for my 5 year old to see Jojo siwa in 2019 and told me I don't use the money within a year towards something else I loose it. I didn't get that until 2021 March and they still were limiting and canceling things cause of COVID. Worst place ever
