Never got my tickets. They kept telling me that what I saw on my FedEx Tracker was incorrect that the tickets were at the box office. They weren't. Missed the show. Entire day wasted
To say that Box Office Ticket Sales provided a harrowing experience would be an understatement. Their representatives are rude, unreliable, pushy and down right mean. I had encounters with 3 different Box Office Ticket Sales representatives. The one female, I presume from the voice and the name she gave, began somewhat helpful, but ended up offering only the most exorbitant prices and was not reachable after the call despite the name and phone number she gave. These ticket sales/"customer service" representatives treated me as if they were robots and I was a nobody. I can honestly say this was one of the worse experiences I have ever had purchasing tickets especially considering I actually was able to speak to a human being. I had the feeling, however that the Box Office Ticket Sales representatives aren't all very, very human!
This place is horrible, 643.00 and 4 days to get me my tickets and I'm 30 minutes from the doors opening and no tickets and all they say is please be patient, but they will continue to send you advertisements for other events that I would never buy tickets to from this site
Their ticket brokers on the phone were the most impolite and unprofessional business I've spoken with on the phone. I never files complaints to businesses. I called and asked for their prices for tickets. The individual gave me the individual ticket price. I asked a question about the two item minimum at the comedy club. The individual said "I don't have time for any of your questions. Are you buying or not." I said I was still deciding because i wasnt sure if i wanted to buy multiple booths or individual chairs for my large party. The individual on the phone said "well don't call us if you aren't sure." So I said "I am looking for both prices on booths and individual chairs." Then the individual just hung up on me. If their workers aren't willing to answer simple basic questions, or even moderately polite, then why would I ever decide to buy for them?

Bought 2 tickets for a concert then just a week before the concert after I had booked hotel etc got an email that seems to say the seats were not available because the venue had changed and my seats could not be transferred. I checked and the venue has not changed. At least I got a refund. I suspect they are reselling scalped tickets and then could not get the specific tickets I ordered.
I was charged $533 for a concert I did not attend. I tried to contact in good faith then cancelled on my credit card which they continued to fight. I ran out of options when they would not at least compromise so My only option is to warn of the terrible customer service, the inflated service fees and genuine hate I have for this company. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY. OVERCHARGE IS ASTRONOMICAL! PRESSURE TO BUY!
Well, yesterday, I made my $200.00 donation to American Corporate Greed and Robbery. Not a registered charity! I should have checked the reviews. Huge overpayment for tickets. No refund. Was told to resell tickets on Stubhub. Nasty customer service. How do they sleep at night? Karma is coming to get them soon
This business is a RIPOFF. They do a good job of disguising themselves as a particular venue, and hide their RIDICULOUS service fees until AFTER you place the order.
DO NOT USE THEM!
This site should be banned. I bought tickets that were listed at a Warner Theater in CT and they sold me tickets for a Warner Theater in Washington DC for $433.The event was not ever in CT although it was listed as being in CT. When I called them Josh was rude, intimidating, and said that ticketsales.com --where I found the tickets didn't have anything to do with ticketsales.com. THe website as shown below shows that tickets for THE Hits was in CT, yet it never was? He said That I said that I was buying for a performance in DC when I never said that... and when I asked him to let me listen to my phone recording he said he would not let me listen to it. He kept saying things like you are not listening and I have already said that... it was really terrible. Don't buy here.
After calling back, dude told me my $40 ticket was really $685! Bull $#*!! I'm local to the venue. When I told him I wasn't okay with that charge he said "ma'am your opinion was a technical question, and if we ain't the same height and f*cking we ain't seeing eye to eye and I'm terminating the call. Slick, I was still laughing when the bro-tato chip disconnected the call. *side not- he's angry at the wrong potato! But we all would be if we got a tator tot.
They led you to believe you were buying tickets from the venue directly. Then we figured out after buying tickets it was most likely a scam. We instantly received an error message that they couldn't send the tickets now but we would get them later. We instantly called American Express and canceled the transaction after reading their reviews online. We never received any more emails or tickets. We later bought REAL TICKETS on stub hub. We are still in the process of getting our money refunded from American Express. Be careful not to buy tickets from these SCAM ARTISTS.
My wife bought 10 tickets for a theater performance, and her credit card was charged $1885,18, Box Office did not send tickets by email as promised. She contacted the theater and was told that there were, in fact, 10 tickets waiting. She made will call arrangements, but when she picked up the tickets, their face value was $89.50 apiece, and they were for balcony seats, not main floor as BO had represented. She is trying to get a refund through her bank/credit card, but is getting no cooperation from Box Office Ticket Sales. Our next step is to file a complaint with the Consumer Fraud Division of the state Attorney General's Office.
I purchased tickets to a show two days ago. I called to cancel as my mother is very sick and I must leave the state indefinately. Customer service was terrible. They said there is no refunds on sales. I don't know of any other company that does not give you a grace period for a refund, or under special circumstances can accommodate their customer. I found out also that the price of their ticket was $100.00 more than the tickets at the theater or online for better seats! I will never use this company again, nor should you. They are a total rip off and not nice.
This company is fraudulent- DO NOT USE! I was buying tickets directly from the venue I was planning to attend as I usually do. Somehow, I was re-routed to this company's website without me even realizing! They sent me a confirmation email for a purchase that was never authorized. I called and emailed immediately to rectify the situation- it took half a day to get someone to actually pick ip the phone. They would not process a refund even though the payment hadn't even been processed! I have taken it up with American Express to stop the payment. BE CAREFUL - they are a true scam.
These clowns do not answer their phone.
They do not respond to e-mails- any response is "undeliverable"
Even labeling their harassing e-mails as JUNK does not get rid of them.
It would be a cold day in hell before I purchased anything from them.
I gave them a one-star rating only because zero was not an option.
Good luck trying to unsubscribe from something you never subscribed to!.
I never write reviews but had to warn others. I was looking for some Christmas theater to take my daughters to and I thought I was getting tickets for a quality show for $45 a piece but found out it was for a dance center's Christmas program. The tickets were sold elsewhere for $17 but I paid for 3 tickets at $45/ each plus taxes, service fees, and delivery fees for a total of $203. The company for their part did reimburse me the $40 they made off this sale. Obviously, I should have done my homework. Please learn from my mistakes do not buy from this site. Find out if you can find tickets elsewhere first and take some time to find out more about the performance.
Bought tickets for Book of Mormon and was promised email delivery the next day. After that time passed, I called and they told me tickets would be delivered 48 hours before the event. That did not happen so I called again and I was told that it would be that tickets would be delivered six hours before the event which is the industry standard. I did verify that with another box office in town. It is the day of the event and six hours before no tickets had arrived. I had to call and someone was very nice and said my tickets would come in 15 minutes. They did. I hope they are valid tickets. This whole thing has been a nightmare and I would never buy from them. I will not see the face value of the ticket since it's email but will ask some of the neighbors that we are sitting there. There was a service charge of $60 on this truck on this purchase. The whole experience has been very uncomfortable and has ruined what should be a fun event.
Until after you buy -- that's when you get that notice. Prices were crazy, but it was a music review and in line with my experience with opera tickets. But I should have known better with outrageous service fees. But hey, I really wanted to see the show. When I realized it wasn't the box office (with a notice AFTER the purchase) I went to the theater website. Prices from this vendor were more than ten times the box office price. That's the bad part. Even though it said all sales are final, I called and asked for a refund. It was granted, no questions asked and it was $1,200 plus). I have an email confirming the refund can show credit card company to get the charge reversed if need be. This is the good part, and thus two stars rather than one.
Total joke do NOT purchase tickets with this vender Boxofficeticketsales. Purchased tickets received confirmation organized and paid for hotel and airline tickets to be told two weeks later my tickets were unavailable. Total bait and switch company. When you email them they advise you to call when you call they give you an email address to send a message. Have never dealt with a more difficult company. Don't buy you will be disappointed.
These bastards got me too. 400 bucks gone.
Oh and now I need a 100 characters ok how about this? I hope you rot in prison for the rest of your life.
Answer: I haven't received a refund for tickets I bought for my 5 year old to see Jojo siwa in 2019 and told me I don't use the money within a year towards something else I loose it. I didn't get that until 2021 March and they still were limiting and canceling things cause of COVID. Worst place ever
