Its been 5 days now since the shipment is received at Dayton OH hub. No one in customer service has a response for the delay. My client has already charged me delay fine of $200. I regret for the decision taken to ship it through Borderlinx. Guys please do not fall in tonthis trap. The company is unorganized and can unprofessional in this business. Stay away from Borderlinx.

Received 2 packages each containing a bottle of 8.5 ounce shampoo in my account. One was 0.2kg and the other was 3.49kg. I had another package with 10 items including 3 bottles of the same shampoo, and it was 3.15kg. I asked for the 3.49kg package to be repacked, obviously. They said ok, they apparently repacked the package, but the weight was still 3.49kg. They had the cheek to state on my account that they had achieved 77% savings in weight (!). I enquired again and asked them to check. One officer told me there must have been a mistake in their updating; another told me the warehouse checked again and 3.49 is correct. I'm starting to wonder whether I've been chatting with robots who cannot tell how ridiculous the answers are. They are basically telling me that the repacking achieved nothing. 3.49 kg for one bottle of shampoo, is more than the weight for my other package which has 10 items including 3 bottles of the same shampoo. Makes no sense whatsoever. I have to say the service is extremely disappointing and the whole process was a waste of my time. If you can't repack properly, don't claim to provide the service.

Please be advised that Borderlinx Repacking service is a 'Free' one and the goal here is to reduce the shipping cost for you wherever possible. Our hub has stock of DHL pouches which are used to repack non-fragile and small items to reduce the dimensions. As such, not all items can be repacked- not the fragile items of course (too risky) and the big ones as well (wouldn't fit into the pouch).
Despite our best attempts to help you as much as we can, sometimes the dimensions can be reduced only marginally due to which the final calculation in Volumetric weight can be minimal or unchanged. Sorry for not being able to repack the items this time around:(

This cannot be a less flexible system, only one shipping option, the most costly! Fantastic! There is no way around it. We wanted to return product to sender, it was even more expensive. If the cost is shipping has no bearing on your choice of shipper, then good, they will ship it, but for lots of $$$$$$

Borderlinx is in partnership with DHL, the best in the industry, and do agree that it do come with a minimum cost for the excellent delivery services it renders. This is to ensure you don't have to wait days on for your packages being delivered to you.

The parcel arrived from amazon to their warehouse and it showed heavy item (50kg) so immediately contacted them that it was not my parcel, but they insisted it was mine, i was emailing them back and forth trying all the effort to get the message across, i even sent the invoice of what i ordered on amazon to them but they refused to take any actions, so i end up paying them to release the parcel as they started charging for storage fee on the basis of $5 per day, and when i got this super heavy item a boxing punching bag or something i was absolutely furious so i called them asking for full refund because i have been trying to contact them since day 1 that it was not my parcel, anyway, dont use borderlinx the end of story, they will deliberately try to $#*! you up on the third time as they pretend to be trustworthy on the first and second shipping so it makes you think this shipping company is great and so on, but just wait they will rip you off big time later on, sneakily charging you for storage fee and overvalue your parcel so they can get a high profit out of the shipping charges.

If a customer claim that the item/s do not belong to him/her, we'll always check and verify the name and account number of the customer stated on the Merchant Address Label. This is to ensure the items that actually belongs to the customer are not removed. In both cases we will check the physical package we have in hand.

Q: Honestly the WORST company you can ever come across!
I've sent my 2 shipments to Borderlinx. It's been 5 days today and I was not able to release my shipment since their website was declining my Credit Cards. I spoke to my bank and both the banks informed me that there is nothing wrong with my card but at the merchants end. Initially they had phone support but not anymore (for sure they are getting roasted by the customers because of their unprofessional and incompetent behaviour towards the customers), so, I initiated a chat with there most incompetent staff "Mostly Indians".
BELIEVE ME, THEY WILL NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND YOUR ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I'm kind of pretty sure they are Indians and won't understand English as it is not their first language.
So, after repeating the problems I'm facing, I was asked to wait for a call in 24-48 hrs and my shipments were already lying with them from the past 2 days. A lad called me after 2 days and AGAIN I was asked to wait for another 48 hrs for the resolution to be provided for he was not able to rectify the issue and the only answer given to was that "THERE IS SOME KIND OF SECURITY ISSUE".
Been waiting for their call ever since then and no communication at all from Borderlinx has been established, even though sent them an email literally requesting them to release my shipment as it was to be delivered very urgently for business needs or to send it back on their own expenditure. Still no response at all.
Discussed the whole matter my attorney & filing a police report against DHL, OHIO & Borderlinx foreign company for illegally holding our shipments without any reason and justification at all.
BELIEVE US FOLKS THAT WAS ONE OF THE WORST DECISION OF OUR LIVES TO RELY ON BORDERLINX FOR OUR BUSINESS NEEDS.
We just thought it's DHL only but that was a different story all together.

You've breached the agreed protocols by operating multiple accounts simultaneously due to which all your accounts have been suspended. Your account is USA registered with Indian address and is also 'Fraud' linked to couple of other accounts. Being a legal company we ensure that our platform is not misused and we have stringent policies in placed. Unfortunately, we will not review your account status further and they will remain suspended.
As for the items pending in your accounts, contact the seller and get a Prepaid Return label and forward that to our support team. We will send them back to the seller at no additional cost to you so you get the refund for the items. Regret any inconvenience.

Just received notice of suspicious charge on my credit card from Borderlinx (3/23/17). Called Capital One, and sure enough this Brussels based website was trying another charge. Please report immediately to your charge card company if you get similar activity--keep our credit cards safe!

Being a legal and fully compliant registered company we will never charge a card without customer authorization. What's more important is that Borderlinx do not have a system or authority to charge a customer's card. We do not store any credit card information in our system which is prerequisite to make such transactions.
As such, your claim of unauthorized charge is completely wrong. Being a legal company we value privacy and will not indulge in such activities that is against the law, and neither will allow our platform for such activities.

The support team on Livechat are equipped to handle most of the common issues in real time.
However, certain issues that need to be checked with the ground staff (hub)- remember they don't have access to the physical items to verify for you, technical or finance issues which are managed by a separate specialist team, or certain matters that senior level team has access too. Hierarchy of responsibilities and authorities is an important aspect of a company and cannot be done without.
If you could provide your Suite number or Ticket ID we can investigate the matter and look for a priority resolution. Inconvenience is regretted.

This is the 4th US freight forwarder I have used and they all have the same problem. When things go smoothly the service works well but when something goes wrong the wheels fall off. So far about 20% of parcels I have sent to a US freight forwarding service have problems of one kind or another. In this case i've been going back and forth with their live chat service for a parcel delivered by fedex and signed for by their staff. Each time they say I have to wait 24-48 hours for them to check with the warehouse. I've been waiting a week now for the simple message to be conveyed that they need to find a package but each time I have to go through the same information again and each time they raise a new ticket. In short unless you want a lot of stress in your life don't use Borderlinx. So far i've used ComGateway, Shopmate, Reship and Borderlinx and all have given me the same stresses. Now looking for a 5th option!

We always try to allocate the shipment on same day delivery- though it's not in real time as inbound shipments are processed only in the evening time after 2pm. As such, by end of day you can expect all the items allocated to respective suite and customers are sent automatic notification once the system is updated.
The delay is unfortunate. What is your Suite number or Ticket ID so we can investigate. Apologies for the delay and inconvenience.

Just finished my first transaction with BorderLinx. Bought a bunch of sale stuff from a company that did not enable shipping from USA to Canada. So... I used Borderlinx to act as the intermediary.
It cost 9.00USD to ship from the original retailer to the Borderlinx facility in Dayton Ohio - very cheap (FedEx Ground, 3-4 days transit time). From there, it took Borderlinx a little more than 1 business day to process the shipment into your "suite" and release it for shipping to the ultimate destination. The total cost of shipping was a bit hard to swallow (at first), but the charges are probably fair, in order for them to be profitable. The cost of shipping from Borderlinx was roughly 30USD for Express Next Day Delivery. That is a bargain considering the transit time! Most people don't necessarily need such a fast shipping time, but when it does arrive that quickly, how can you complain? However, the portion of the fee that will raise the total cost significantly, is the customs duties and taxes that Borderlinx will charge you on behalf of the customs broker. Usually, this should be roughly (at max) 30% of the cost of the original purchase (for clothing) - my corresponding Borderlinx portion of the cost was more than 30% of the total value of the merchandise. This is probably where they can make their money for providing this service - and in my opinion, that's pretty fair. I wanted something that my retailer wouldn't ship to Canada, and Borderlinx allowed me to grab those things (provided the retailer allows for different shipping and billing address to not match). Total cost was around 60USD to ship from US to Canada, and the total value of my original transaction was around 150USD. Hefty price, but it makes complete sense if you really want the goods! Note, I also used PayPay to purchase from the retailer - this helps since payment is coming from a verified source, and therefore the transaction is less likely to be cancelled by the retailer due to suspicion of fraud. I've seen a lot of people complain about cancelled Borderlinx orders, so do yourself a favor, and avoid those conditions.
I purchased a bulk order and it arrived to their hub on February 7th. On February 10th the package arrived to my place which is located in the U.S. After opening it, I immediately realized that they shipped me the wrong order. The order was a men's $60 jacket. It was abundantly clear that they misplaced the label and sent me someone's else order. I contacted customer service immediately and provided photos of the package, label, and the jacket that was enclosed in the package. The first guy Anaad, was non-apologetic and asked me numerous questions about the package and made it seem like I was culpable for their mistake and negligence. Later he informed me that someone from their team will contact me within 3-4 days. He also advised that someone will come pick up the wrong package and they will arrange the best time for me. Basically, they will be using my service and my time for their mistake. I contacted customer the 3rd day, and the second guy informed me that they have located the package and they will ship it out very soon. Although he was nice and apologetic, I realized a couple of days later that no one has bothered to contact me. Today marks the 7th day, and I contacted customer service again. His response was "The issue is already escalated to the higher team and they are investigating the issue." I asked when can I expect for this issue to be resolved? No response. I asked him to have his supervisor contact me because I'm tired of sitting around waiting for my $500 + package to arrive. He claimed that someone will be in contact with me within the next 24 hours. All in all, beware at all costs. They won't refund you and they'll postpone contact for as long as possible. This is not a reliable shipping system and the customer service is horrific.

Hello, after the lock my account for merchant report and after i prove that the payment was authorized from my card and no fraud about the transactions they was preparing the package to return to merchant without getting back to me, 4 days and live support asking for another day, and still no reply from this useless security department.
They are returning the items to merchant and not letting me to get the other items from another merchant and 4 bus days + 2 weekend and still no reply!
Will you really trust a site like this?
A site when you face serious problem on it the support say we can't help you only something called security department can help and they don't even talk?

Because my dad also had an account they blocked my account. Had to send in my ID which i did yet they don't do anything about it.
Avoid this garbage company, they refuse to help. All positive comments are straight up made by borderlinx staff themself. Disgrace that i have to write it here. Hopefully they will see this and decide to actually freaking help me out. I will change this to a positive feedback if they decide to help me out.
