Boost Mobile Reviews Summary

Boost Mobile's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding customer service and product reliability. Customers frequently express frustration over long wait times, inadequate support, and unresolved service issues, including poor coverage and delays in order fulfillment. While some positive feedback highlights helpful individual representatives, the overall sentiment indicates a lack of cohesive support and organization within the company. Additionally, concerns about misleading information and billing practices further detract from customer satisfaction. This combination of factors suggests a pressing need for Boost Mobile to enhance its customer service protocols and improve service reliability to retain its clientele.

I have had boost for 3 years and had not had an issue with this phone service till now. My phone is an older phone so it's slower so I decided to change my SIM card so it would be faster. I got a SIM card for free in the mail no problem. Then I changed the SIM card over and I had terrible service (it would bounce back from saying no service to boost with one bar in my own home where I would normally get service) and then I would get this notification that took over my entire phone screen about my SIM card sending a message even though I wasn't texting anyone. So I've talked to a lot of different employees for three days which was a waste of time. Every employee said to do the same thing and they were not helping (but most of the employees were very nice). Then I got a technician to help me and they told me to wait 24 hours and it will work… it's been more then 24 hours and nothing has been fixed. They have just lost a customer. Their service used to be good but now it's terrible.

I been a customer 20 years plus. The customer service and loyalty appreciation can't be beat. Upgrades every 4 months are unbeatable. Boost mobile is great and its because of the agents of the company well representing and make boost overall easily on a level on its own. The representative helping me at 7 pm even though she was already supposed to be off helped me get what I needed and was patient even though I had to call the bank even using her personal number for a way to let me be capable of verifying my card to make the purchase. If it wasn't for her professionalism and ability to cater to someone who needed help but was too late and she made sure she went above and beyond to remind me that boost never fails and customers are always leaving and deep down know they will return because such great service is just routine compared to any other phone company
I left my old phone because I was in a rush so I will return to get it tomorrow and I hope the representative helping me is there so I can thank her for proving I'm never wrong thinking that I'll be with boost for life. I was at 1627 mermaid at 7pm on august 27. I hope my that employee gets recognized for her excellent representation of a prototypical sales representative I'd want to market my product
I spent double and because of the informative comparison of the choices and the representative explained what deals are available and how to earn future perks. 10/5 stars is a understatement, unquestionably going above and beyond should be never overlooked but I took my time to review because not saying anything is a crime for someone you know is off work but never ever said anything until I noticed she was leaving after I had no more concerns or needs.

Boostmobile morons
August 28, 2021

This company ducks. The customer service is lousy. The service is half as good. On 3 occasions I needed a replacement phone. On 4 occasions it took two weeks to get the right phone and sim card. Customer service is outsourced to a foregin land with non English speaking reps. Reaching anyone with donkey sense is a challenge. I suggest Mint mobile. Their cheaper and with no expectations you won't be disappointed

Boost. As in THEFT from their customers. RUINED my phone after telling me I needed a new SIM. LOADED with bloatware now, old apps dont work, colors changed on some app icons, random notifications that never disappear and cant be turned off or removed. Customer service? LMFAO. 3 hours on text exchange. NOTHING fixed. ZERO F/U from Boost. Now also getting tons of Spam emails I never got before. RUN dont walk away from Boost

Boost claims they have the biggest coverage area and 5G. This is incorrect. They subcontract with other providers to use their towers which for me, means my service cuts out even though my phone shows I'm within the LTE coverage area. Also, 5G is only available in a few cities which is how they try to use to justify their higher rates. I would not recommend this cell service. My experience with them has dramatically declined since Virgin Mobile was bought out by them.

I've been a Boost Mobile Customer for more than 10 years. Overall, the customer support is very good and the representatives in the stores are very helpful and accommodating. However the sales representative in the Fayetteville, NC at the Sycamore Dairy Road location is not customer friendly and very rude. Hopefully someone will be able to assist him in learning the value of customers who support Boost Mobile and the value of being more customer friendly. Inevitably, the store needs customers customers. It is easier to keep a customer than to get a new one!

BOost mobile SUCKS!
August 20, 2021

Let me be clear, I do not own a boost mobile my son does. They tried to get me on it and I refused each time. I got my son on it and OMG he can't remember some stupid pin they ask for security reasons and they literally want to find out when was the last time he pooped. He couldn't tell them so he have to wait 24 hours for them to call him and get more details. AT&T for me all the way! Boost mobile SUCKS! Other questions are there they could ask like what the bank asked. When was the last payment made, how did you pay, last four digit of the card used, and how much you pay instead of asking what year and month you bought the phone are you kidding?!? Years ago and your to remember right! I will switching him to at&t it's much better hassle free! Nobody have time for this.

Good Company except...
August 16, 2021

I am over all happy with Boost mobile. I have been with them for years and have never had a dropped call or any trouble with service. What I am unhappy about is that I just made my final boost up payment that is payment 18. For 18 months I was paying $25 a month for a phone that stopped working 12 months ago. When the store rep sold it to me she said I would be paying $250 for a phone I could have paid $120 cash for. I didn't do the math I just took the lady at her word. Had I done the math I would have known I would be paying $450 for a $120 phone that lasted 6 months. I didn't get insurance on the phone because I had major problems in the past with thier insurance that it wasn't worh the hassle. They should not be allowed to get by with such highway robbery of charging $450 for a piece of junk phone that I could have paid $120 cash for but the store rep made the idea of payments sound like a good deal. Im sure it was profitable to her because she probably got commision off of it.

Boost CLAIMS to have policies, but they're basically unwritten and they claim what amounts to implied consent. But if they don't tell you about it, how can it be consent in any form?

0 stars is appropriate. Do not activate the new SIM card unless you have a phone that Boost is currently selling on their site. Why? Because then your phone is not compatible with the new network and once the SIM card is linked you are screwed because they cannot go back and revert to your old SIM. As in your phone will never work again with boost, promise, Galaxy S8 is NOT supported!. Mind you I was sent the SIM in the mail, I received multiple texts and emails reminding me to call and update and the letter I received says "This offer is applicable to the number ending in ****" (which is my number) And their resolution is buy a new phone and guess what their punch line is?! We have a new service that will allow you to purchase your new phone on a monthly payment plan. I have been with boost for 5+ years and I am no longer a customer as of today. There will be no compensation for them screwing up your phone btw. They "escalated" my issue with a turn around of 48-72 hours. I called them back 12 hours later from when my "escalation" occurred and demanded that they admit that the CSR made a mistake when they did not confirm what phone I had before trying to update the SIM and basically that I did my own research and I know now my phone is not compatible. And then, they finally confirmed and admitted their error and boom! No more escalation needed. They did not even mention my escalation again after that point in the conversation. So they knew as soon as my SIM did not work that they messed up and then tried to cover it up by trying to make me wait 3 days while they researched and there was never going to be a fix. Oh and then they will not give you your account number over the phone because guess what? We cannot send you verification messages anymore since we screwed up your phone's network so now you will need to go to a store to retrieve that information. But they can have you continue to trouble shoot for hours and have you verify your PIN, access and update your account, change your billing information but they cannot give you that number. This sounds like a joke right? Absolutely ridiculous!

Boost mobile used to have great service in my town. The last four months have been garbage and when I asked for help I was told it was just my line. No all six lines I pay for through them and have for 8 years are having the same issue. Dish network sucks so they drug our good phone reception with them. Give me the service that I pay for. BBB needs to shut them down.

Just got a new phone with Boostmobile. The mobile data LTE has gotten horrible. My last LG phone had good LTE. My network options got reduced to 2G/3G and I'm getting "no internet" and can't get to sites unless I turn my wifi on. But my wifi has a 15GB data cap and I am blowing thru that quickly. I don't understand why Boost would do this. Care Services is useless telling you to reset network but that blows away wifi password. Thinking of turning this phone back in and going to Verizon

I bought 2 galaxy 10e phones from boost mobile and they couldn't even activate them bc of no 5G service for this area. Took 2 months to any money back and they made me pay for shipping to get the money back! Dropped them like the calls on their poor service! I wouldn't recommend boost mobile for anyone else. It costed me $30 in shipping fees but I got the $100 back for the wrong phones they sent me. Just glad to be rid of them and their sorry service!

I tried to Boost Up through the site and my Dashboard was not showing the installment options nor the Boost Up price and thus, I had to call and make my purchase via the phone representative. Once the order was placed, there was supposed to be a e-signature link on my Dashboard so I could sign the agreement but it wasn't there. When I called and chatted with Customer Support, I was told I would need to go to the local store and sign it there... but that's incorrect as they have the same access to my Dashboard as I do and did not see any link.

A case was open for them to look into why I did not initially receive the email nor the link on my Dashboard and after several hours, I did get the email with the link. However, the link did not work since my Boost Up agreement isn't being reflected on my Dashboard.

I have spent several hours and 2-days trying to get this resolved so I can sign the agreement and have my phone sent out... since the order has been placed and, I've already paid for the new phone.

I find it totally unacceptable that they are unable to provide me with a paper agreement to print and sign and, the fact that they are unable to figure out why my Dashboard isn't working!
