I was hunting for a textbook for my personal collection, and all the prices I found online were ridiculous, but the price here was actually extremely decent! The initial listing said the book was in something like "working condition", so when all the other online listings were in the $300+ range, a $20 beat-up book sounded good enough. Boy I was wrong, this book is in IMMACULATE condition! I just had to peel off some stickers and give it a delicate scrub and it looked completely new, the pages looked as if they hadn't even been touched? I live internationally so that was another concern, but it didn't even matter because shipping was a flat rate $10 for me. The shipping was decently fast, with full tracking. I'm so glad I gave this website a try, I almost thought it couldn't be real!

Purchase on, but I would NOT have purchased if it had mentioned the considerable underlining (in ball
Point!) throughout the first three chapters (perhaps the owner stopped reading there?). Otherwise, it's in good shape and that may have led the grader to assume all of it was good.
The writing seems good and the story insightful, so I will actually read it in the next few days.

The shipping surcharge isn't disclosed until after you confirm the trade. No other buyback company I've worked with does this. It's lame. Nickel and diming the customer will get you nowhere.

This site is easy to use and often gives the best prices for books. However, sometimes I do not get the full price that was quoted and their explanation is that the quality was not good on a particular book. I think it would be better if they gave me an idea of what was wrong with the book. Was it water-damaged, did it have writing? I would like to be more aware of the inherent problem of the book instead of taking their word that the book was subpar when I wasn't aware of any condition issues.
My experience with Booksrun was great. I would use them again.
