Great vendor - book condition accurately described, and shipped promptly
The good: I ordered a book from Booksrun via Abebooks. It arrived a few days later, as advertised, at a surprisingly modest cost.
The bad: I received multiple email messages from Sitejabber saying Booksrun would like my feedback. While I thought they meant "let us know how we did", apparently they really meant "please leave us a review". When I realized I was leaving a review, I felt deceived and annoyed. A neurotypical would just delete the message without a second thought, but it's taking up a slice of my precious, shrinking "mindspace"
(And I'm so over proving I'm not a robot by inspecting tiny low resolution images.)

Please do not send your books to BooksRun. They are nothing more than a scam. I put my ISBN into the system. The only options to give the books were used in very good condition or new condition. I listed them in very good condition because that's what they were. Once they received the books, they told me the books were in poor condition. This was not true, but there was not even an option to click poor condition. The price suddenly went down by about 40%. Upon looking at more reviews, this is a common tactic for this company to do. Please do not ship your books to them. They will scam you. They offered to send the books back to me for $8 a book which would've been a ridiculous amount of money to pay for shipping. Do not use this company. I did have one book shipped back to me that I knew was in new condition but they switched it and sent me back a book in poor condition with writing all over it and water damage. I know this is not my book and they switched it on me. Do not use them.
