I bought a textbook for a class I dropped, so I immediately asked to return the book. Calling only took me to voicemail which said to email them. I emailed them and the automated reply said I would hear back within 2 business days. WEEKS later, I still didn't receive a response. When I finally did hear back, they said they would only give me 30% of a refund AND I had to pay the return shipping. So much wasted money over a book I never even opened.
Update: They gave me a full refund because of my negative experience despite saying they never give full refunds. I still had to pay out of pocket to return a book I didn't need, but I have less of a sour taste in my mouth.

The entire process was just as expected. Ordering and delivery were easy and timely. Tje only complaint I have is that when I opened the vacuum seal that was covering the book, there was an awful dank smell to the book that just has not gone away with use. Plan on getting a deodorizing spray to hit it with when I can remember to stop and get some.

I ordered 3 books for rental. 1 was never shipped out and I was charged for it. I can't return a book I never got! I emailed the team and have not gotten a response

Was "renting" 5 books & all showed available to rent until after I made the purchase. Days later I get notification that 3 of the 5 are not available. So I try to cancel the entire order and they only let me cancel one because they put that the book shipped although it had not shipped yet. So I had to use another source for the 4 book rentals and the 1 from them. That is a complete pain, when I thought I was getting them all from booksrun. I did not want to rent from multiple sites. They should not let you even make the purchase if a rental or book is not available. Also, not a fan of them using USPS instead of UPS, as it slows the time it takes to get the books. Customer service response took many days to get back to me, which is also frustrating considering classes are going to start.

So my school was warning everybody " only buy book from school store to avoid issues with extra content and access codes " etc…
Well sure they say that, school store charging a whole lot more, like a whole lot more. Well this working adult student doesn't have extra money to frivolously throw around so, I ordered online, 2day shipping very reasonable, it came on time, perfectly brand new with access code card all shrinkwrapped n pretty.

I've emailed several times about returning a book I didn't need and received NO reply! I found it difficult to contact this company. We shall see how it goes when it's time to actually return the book unopened! I won't use this company again.

Minutes upon ordering a textbook, I realized that I didn't need it, so I promptly emailed the company's customer service to cancel the order before it shipped (there was no number to call) fast forward A WEEK later... I get an email that my card is charged and my book was shipped! I repeatedly emailed back and told them that I had canceled it within 20 minutes of ordering, and the response I got back, (days later) was that I could return BUT I would have to incur the cost of shipping the book back to them! Horrible service, and lazy customer service who apparently don't check their emails more than once a week. BUYER BEWARE
