The advertise free cancellation on bookings 48 hours before. Have had to cancel due to Covid, we are 5 days before and they have taken £150 off me for the cancellation, they say it is not them but the hotel! Then don't advertise as Free Cancellation then! Poor service, do not use this company. I had booked many times through them, but the proof of a company is when you have a problem! This company is not interested, they charge on Free cancellations, it is rubbish!
I booked a flight through Booking.com for United Airlines. After extenuating circumstances, I had to cancel my flight. United Airlines approved a FULL refund and sent the money back to Booking.com. This was in October... Booking.com refuses to give me any information on my money and sends me automated responses to all requests for information. They refuse to give me actual information regarding my refund (which should be full since the airline approved it). This is not my first negative run in with their lack of customer service, but it is my first run in with them trying to steal $1400 from me. Do not use this company!
They advertise worry free cancellation policies but then they keep your money and you can't get through to anyone to get your money back. Your only recourse is contesting the charges with your credit card company. Booking.com is a total scam.
I proved to them that the property i rented had shown false images and they refused to give a refund or even penalize the property owners. Basically they are in cahoots with these 'thugs' and as a result would recommend you use AIR BnB it's sad but true.
Booking.com scammed me immediately in less than 5 minutes. I booked two rooms and cancelled immediately in less than five minutes. They refunded half the money and when asked they mentioned that one of the rooms was not refundable. WHAT! Exactly. Despite of the email i received for both cancellation and confirmation stated that cancellation was free of charge until day prior to arrival at no charge and the booking was for ten days later.
When i called their customer service they advised, one of the room was non refundable ( which was not mentioned anywhere during the entire process). Does not end their they than said called property and the owner of PASHA hotel actually delivered even worst experience bluntly lying that the money is with booking.com call them.
So between booking.com and pasha hotel they both are celebrating Christmas on my 70 pounds that they both scammed me off
A glitch happened from the website during booking and it booked for 2 adults instead of 3, contacted the customer support to help to cancel the booking to let me rebook, they said I need to pay 600 DHS cancelation while it wasn't my mistake, and the agent ended the chat without even make sure I'm satisfied or giving me a chance to reply back!
This company allows Covid rules to be broken in every way and makes a mockery out of those who follow rules. STINKING accomodation.
I booked with them months ago and had to reschedule due to COVID. They are completely uncooperative and will not provide a contact number. The number they have goes to a dept that can't help. It's all don't call us, we'll call you, but they email saying they called and there's no missed calls, so no idea what they're talking about. Complete bull$#*!, avoid them at all costs.

I you value your safety and well-being, stay away from this dump of a "hotel"! I wasn't in my room for more than 2 minutes when I noticed that the door had no deadbolt and no other manner of properly looking the door. Furthermore, when I was returning my key so I could leave, I noticed a drug deal occurring next to the office, which happened to be an opened window in another room of the hotel. There is minimal lighting and the few lights this dump has were turning off and on. I made the reservation through Booking.com but both the hotel and Booking.com refuse to return my money!
Disliked · EVERYTHING that's why I immediately left. Also, the fact that my money wasn't returned even though I didn't spend more than 2 minutes in the room is further proof that Minsk is not only unsafe, it's also an unscrupulous business.
The property with roaches and booking both charged me and the deal was supposed to be pay when ya stay fighting to get my money back. Don't pay twice deal with the property directly. The reviews on booking are not accurate in my opinion the property was gross
I made a hotel reservation for Drowne Plaza apartments hotel in Dubai on booking.com. The free cancellation policy was on Dec. 7th. I canceled the reservation on 7th at noon and the system showed I will be charged $145. I called booking.com and they ensured me they will address this problem. I followed it up for 4 days and finally after spending more than 7 hours on the phone, booking.com said they cannot do anything about it and my account was charged $190. Save yourself a headache and find a better booking website. This website is fraudulent and is ripping people off.
Booked a hotel room and found out they charged the same rate as a member rate to the hotel! Advertised a $50 dog fee and hotel told us it is $100! $275 per night for a discount extended stay hotel that was filthy and in disrepair. When I waited on line for a very long time to talk to a rep she hung up on me when I explained the charges discrepancy! Total scam, fraud, don't waste your time with this site!

Looked at accommodation Saturday morning and it was a good price, later that day there was a price surge so I contacted customer service and they asked me to book the accommodation and they would adjust it to the discounted price. Now they are calling me a liar and I can't even cancel the booking without paying in full.
Their ‘customer service' is to tell you that you are wrong or you are lying and repeat themselves over and over until they hang up on you.
I booked a rental car through this company, never got the car, tried multiple different solutions. They keep saying it's a total loss and are intent to charge in full. NEVER GOT THE CAR. No managers available.
Great hotel run by a very nice gentlemen Okay. Stayed with my family for 4 night and we had a very good time.
I spent 3 hours on the phone tonight getting hung up on 3xs. 3 different "representatives- not because I was yelling because I was put on hold and then it just drops no callback no follow through! They canceled one of my nights on the tail end of my reservation with no notification and said that I did it! When in fact I called to see what the price change would be if I took another night off and it was gonna be more expensive so of course I wouldn't cancel the night. They don't stand by the original reservation the original price point nothing- I will never use them again!

Worst customer service ever. I had to cancel a reservation due to change of plans and they refused to provide refund even though cancellation occurred as per cancellation policy. The customer service guy Rene was disrespectful, unprofessional and very rude! I was on phone with them for hour and a half and they just kept coming back with reasons as to why they cannot provide refund. After three different excuses, unprofessional attitude I had to hang up out of exhaustion.

I booked a room with free cancelation and payment at arrival, yet my credit card was still charged immediately. It caused there funds being frozen until refunded so I wasn't able to rebook or book anything else. T's not appropriate to not have a 24//7 customer service because this was urgent.
They support criminals in defrauding you. They allow these people to list on their site, so they can steal your money and cancel your booking. I doubt the accommodation even exists. Avoid

Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.

I had to go to American Express customer serviced to complain and they gave a dead line for explanation. They had no explanation for crappy service and had to repay me.
