First impression? I was so skeptical about online shopping and using the size generator but let me tell you! That tool is my saving grace! Like it's my personal assistant and all the outfits (only the first package out of four hehe) fit PERFECTLY! I've always hated trying things on and hated my body so much. But the sizes and clothes just fit my body and compliment it perfectly! Quality is better than fashion nova, I had pretty low standards but it was surprisingly comfy. Little tip if you're 5'7+ order from their tall collection. Other than that I loved it. Shipping was about $10 and slow but it gets processed quick. They're available through Instagram and reply quick to customer support
Their returns policy for US residents is confusing and not customer friendly at all. I'm a frequent online shopper and other 'smart' companies usually provide a shipping return label at no additional cost because they understand the value of keeping the customers happy. However, for your company, I'm expected to pay out of pocket to return something that doesn't fit properly? Your site advertised the fit incorrectly and now it's the customer's fault?
I hope the management team gets this message. Because your company isn't willing to provide a return label for $4 USD, they've now lost a lifetime customer who would have purchased exponentially more and because of the dissatisfaction, will spread the complaint like wildfire. That, in itself, sounds like a bad business decision to me.
Hopefully, your company's bad business decision won't lead to your downfall such as the bankruptcy of Forever21.
I bout a few things from Boohoo... saw the ad on Facebook and gave it a try. I was really unexpectedly pleased with a few items I bought. I'm 5'7 199 lbs and site said my size would be a 14 but I got my US size 12 and glad I did. The 14's would have been too big. Nothing I purchased was too big or small. It fit me just right. The only complaint I have in the blazer (long blazer black with I believe gold chain links) I bought was the shoulder pads are bigger than I'd like them to be. Material is kinda flimsy but it's still cute and I'll still wear it. The rose dress I bought with the high neck is sooooo cute. My favorite purchase. The tank with sheer cleave isbsuoer cute too. Didn't fit snug. Nice silk like material but stretchy so it doesn't hug my fluffy tummy. The cheetah print mini skirt is cute. Kinda like a polyester material but stretchy. Fits really nice and was only $3. Definitely worth it. I also got the plaid skirt with suspenders attached. It's ok. Not my fave... good material but my shape isn't right for it... Yet. It's a little long for my liking. Wished it was shorter... comes right above my knee. Again I'm 5'7. I will definitely shop again... I kinda now kno what to look for
Shocking service. My parcel has been lost for almost a moth after paying for express shipping. Lost also is my query for compensation. Navigating a labyrinth of obsequious time wasters designed to weaken my resolve is the only customer service I'm receiving as there appears no dedicated department to deal with items lost in transit. Using the pandemic as an excuse is absolutely shameful since this has been missing for much longer than this was a contributing factor. I will be a thorn in their side until I receive something in the way of compensation but I would generally advise anyone to STAY AWAY. Boo Hoo indeed. They are The Worst.
Items that I did receive was poor quality. One was faulty. Their virtual assistant is a pain. I'm currently dealing with them on my missing items. I wouldn't order from them again
I am here during quarantine and wanted to buy from a website I never purchased from. I decided to check reviews on a website I regularly purchase from (sometimes I truly spend tooooo much). I am astonished at all the poor reviews on Bohoo. Their customer service is really good, I communicate through WHATSAPP whenever I had a problem with sizing which was only once out of dozens of orders, and I am always answered. Their clothes are really good quality for the great prices. I honestly think sometimes the competition is writing these reviews as Bohoo is definitely not a bad place to get reasonably affordable clothing that is good quality. And no. I wasnt paid to do this review and I am a real person living in the UK and about to order AGAIN from Bohoo after just ordering a few weeks ago Melina Josefina McLean
Ok my order was supposed be delivered to me on March 19th but FedEx has been holding my shipment in the International shipping department since then. I paid over $70 for this order and I'm just so upset that my items are being held. I know that it has to do with the Covid 19 but I feel that Boohoo isn't sending the right documentation with the packages so it won't be held. I won't be ordering anymore things from them until they start using USPS again.
I did a big order and the only decent items were the jewellery, all clothing items either very cheap looking or bad sizing, the bodysuits don't fasten as there too short. One T-shirt had holes in it and another with dirty finger prints and clothes had a horrible smell!
I paid over $17 for express shipping (3-5 days) because I needed an item by the weekend. I ordered Sunday, the 22nd and my package's ETA was originally the 24th but it quickly changed to the 31st. I contacted them because the shipping was more expensive than any of the 13 items I ordered. I asked to be refunded the $12 extra I paid for express. They replied via WhatsApp and they told me I was wrong that 5 business days from Sunday would be the 30th (WRONG). Even if the 30th was 5 days (which was actually 6 business days) the package arrived the 31st and they still refused to admit I was right. No refund and the clothes were $#*!. So disappointed.
I ordered from this site once before and although the clothes weren't the best quality, I tried again a few weeks later paying more attention to the reviews. Same thing, so this time when I went to go return my order, they would t give me a label without charging me 4.00. Not that I care about 4.00, but two weeks prior they charged me nothing for my return and they also advertise FREE returns. When I contacted customer service (via Facebook because they don't have a phone number-another reason you shouldnt order from here). They told me the site charges 4.00 now on all returns. I asked her to provide me proof of where it says this and she couldn't. When I provided screen shots of my order saying "returns are free" she again had no answer. This site is sneaky with hidden charges, and their clothes are terrible quality. Stay away.
Overall pretty much all my dealings with BooHoo have been great. The items I order come on time, are as shown and generally good value for money if you wait for the sales (they have plenty of these so always wait).
The biggest issue for me thus far has been that for men's shoes they have a special AUS/NZ sizing that they've made up (?) and I mistakenly bought the wrong size not realising. My fault at the end of the day but deceptive on their part I think.
Otherwise the consistent thing that lets them down is customer service. They don't really respond to emails or website contacts, I've found the best way to contact them is via Facebook.
Their reps tend to be uncaring and generally unhelpful but haven't technically done wrong for me yet.
I would give no stars if I could This place BOOHOO advertises a size which is the wrong size then you pay for postage and you send it back and pay for the postage again and you have no top no money and you are out of pocket even more money. They do not have a exchange program and if you want the right size you have to pay for the postage again so a $18 top will end up costing you double at least
DO NOT BUY FROM BOOHOO A TOTAL RIP OFF.
I ordered a Bride to Be robe for my wedding day and they sent me the wrong one. The bag was labeled correctly but the contents were completely different. They said it was their mistake but I would have to return it and re-purchase and pay shipping ($15.99 CAD) again if I still wanted the item. They were unwilling to cover the shipping, as it was their mistake and said "they do not do compensations at Boohoo".
They are thieves do not order from here! Worst customer service I've ever known. Once they have your money they don't care if you receive your items and they don't want to refund you
I ordered a coat from nephew and it was delivered to somebody in Nashville TN and i live in another county in TN so boohooman and UPS going to here from me in the morning.
Since a bunch of my favourite influencers recommended Boohoo, I decided to splurge some of my hardly earned money (as a student) for some of their clothes. Out of 6 items I'm satisfied with none. I wore my new Boohoo leopard t-shirt dress today for 6 hours, the seams around the neckline came apart, the leather skirt looks way worse than on the site (the 'leather look' is such horrible quality), a white tee, which is so hard to screw up, is completely seethrough, the floral jersey dress also came ripped, and the two belts I got are very sharp to touch and look really cheap. Boohoo are just not what they say they are, even though the low price makes it obvious, that the quality won't be the best, I was still very disappointed. I hope no other students that work hard for their money decide to make the same mistake as I, don't shop at Boohoo.
I am usually a small to medium and ordered the UK 10 which would be a medium and nothing fit! The clothes are awful! Not true to size and very poor quality. Do not recommend. They don't have reviews on their website like fashionova does for this reason.
I ordered a Prince Tshirt from these- It arrived and was pure orange and clearly poor merch if official at all. I contacted customer service and was told that it is the same picture just brighter in colours

Answer: I wouldn't I had to fight so hard for my refund. It took them about 4 months to acknowledge that they had actually received it
