May 10 ordered parts. Auto email says may be 2-3 days delay. OK Coronavirus - understandable. Next day, email received: one part not in stock will have on May 13. Next day, new email, same part - say they will have it on May 14. May 15 - 19 no change, no shipment, no communication. I send an email and get an auto response that it may take 3-4 days to get a real response but here's a phone number if you really want to talk to us. I try to call the number and they are closed except very limited hours. Fine I try again after 10 am and the auto phone system says I am #125 in line. Auto phone system offers option for them to call me back when it is my turn. I try that but it doesn't respond. I wait 20 minutes and I have moved from 125 to 111. I am at work, I can't wait any longer. Of course they are only open in hours that I am at work. Tried a few more times to reach them by phone - no way to get someone on the line. I have sent them THREE Emails asking them to cancel my order. I have picked up the parts locally and don't need them anymore. Nine days now and they have NEVER responded to any of my emails. Yesterday they send an email that my order has been shipped. This is not just REALLY BAD SERVICE, it is CRIMINAL and FRAUD. They are not even trying to deliver parts within the time frame they claim. How can any company operate a website that takes your credit card and then prevent any communication from customers? I had a good experience with this company a few years ago but I will never use them again. Consider yourself warned.
12 days in and not one person can give me an idea when my parts will ship! Horrible customer service! Supervisor too lazy to see how many orders are in front of mine? The parts are all in your own warehouse and have been from day one! Not one other business has treated me and my business partners like this. I have ordered parts and other things from every place you can think of on the net lately and not one company had a delay getting them to me. You should have warned everyone you laid all your employees off in your warehouse instead of making excuses that are not true, having customers waiting forever with no darn idea of when anyone will get around to shipping my parts!

I ordered the part on the 14th and paid for 1-3 shipping. It's currently the 22nd and the order is still being processed. I could have drove from pa to ga and got the part myself in this amount of time!

I've ordered several times and always get what I need. Quick delivery from Georgia to Ohio. I've even had a combined order of motorcycle parts and boat parts. Always original equipment parts. I used to work for a local marina as a mechanic and I still do work for friends on a variety of brands of motors. It's nice to be able to go to boats.net and get what I need.

I have been buying small engine parts at this site for years. Their inventory is always accurate and up to date. I usually just order on the friendly user website but occasionally need live help and their customer service is very professional.

Ordered head gaskets and water jackets for my motor on may 8 2020 they were paid in full 3work days later they said it will be shipped on wed nothing I called them and was told due to the virus it can't be shipped untill mon ok mom came and went finally opened a case on PayPal no more excuses stop taking orders if u can't ship 5 Fffff terrible blame game with them completely crappy co. I won't be doing business with this company. I have a new marine repair business and was hoping they were going to be one of my suppliers. I placed an order on May 7th and other than receiving a notice that shipping would be delayed 3-4 days, I have heard nothing. It is now May 19th and my order has not been processed, they won't return my email's and the person I finally talked to at boats.net could give me no answers or look into why it has not been processed.
I will call tomorrow and cancel the order and receive my refund.
PS: there was no delay in them taking my payment. I am very disappointed with there professionalism.

We pride ourselves on fast, free shipping, but the current health crisis has caused significant disruption to the entire OEM and aftermarket parts supply chain. Purchased part to get here faster than the dealer since it said 2 day shipping it's been 2 weeks and it didn't get shipped out. Called serval times and lines were full, left extensive emails on to just cancel my order and do get into contact with them until the day after, after sitting on hold for 40 min(said 15min) just for him to tell me that they just shipped and cannot cancel. Terrible customer service and way they do business, took the money out day of and didn't take any action, scammers

The manager that I spoke to yesterday would not help me get an order that was 11 days past and still wasn't shipped due to back ordered part. He told me it was at the warehouse and he couldn't due anything to help. He wouldn't call on my behalf and expedite my long over due order. I explained that my customer was mad and about to take the repair somewhere else. He didn't care. At the end of conversation of me pleading for some help, he said to me " if I see your order around I will try to get it going." Just wow! If you research my purchase history you can see it's extensive. If I lose this customer over this you will lose a customer! I have been paying for expedited packages, but there is no hurry on your behalf. But if I don't pay the expedited shipping they hold the order up even longer. Your shipping department has gone down hill in the last 6 months. SIM Yamaha is looking better every day!

There are a number of possibilities as to why your order was damaged in transit, but our best assumption is that there was a carrier issue. Paid extra for expedited shipping, 4 days for them to ship a fuel uptake. Sent an email and was told expedited pertained to the shipping service(UPS). Shipped today (4/24/20) by UPS GROUND. UPS ground is not expedited. POWERSPORTS PLUS LLC, 1113 SEMINOLE LN, ALBANY, GA, *******, US provides really poor order fulfillment service. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME. Order placed 4/20, Credit Card charged 4/20, UPS scheduled delivery 4/28. That is expedited?
I know about covid-19, I lost my job and wanted to go fishing, but couldn't because boats.net lied about same day shipping.

Depending on the size of the part and many other factors we decide which method of expedited shipping to use. On our About Us page, we state that by "Utilizing UPS Air and Ground services, 94% of the packages shipped to our continental U.S. customers arrive in 1 to 3 business days."
At this time -- due to the COVID pandemic -- all orders are shipping with a 3-4 day delay. That means in-stock parts that would normally ship same-day are shipping 3 or 4 business days later.
We appreciate your patience and we hope that you will receive your parts shortly.

I know I'm not a dealership but every customer should be important, ordered my parts and here I am over four days later they still have not been picked up from their warehouse very poor way to take care of your customers

This is due to required safety procedures, including mandatory reduction in staffing and more space between people and stations. We're happy we are still able to ship parts -- and frustrated we can't get them out sooner, but we are definitely doing the best we can to move parts out of the warehouse as quickly as possible. I placed an order on 4/10. There were two shipping options offered... 2-5 Day and a more expensive 1-3 Day option. I needed the product fairly quickly so I selected the more expensive option. After I checked out and submitted payment, I received a confirmation with the following message:
"Important Message Like many companies, we are also taking steps to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to school closings as well as steps we are taking out of an abundance of caution, your shipment may be delayed 2 or 3 business days. The team at Boats.net would like to thank our loyal customers for their ongoing support and we appreciate your patience during this extraordinary time."
Should this have not been displayed on the order page? I emailed customer service and their response was nothing but excuses. They did not offer me a shipping refund what so ever.
It is now 4/16, and my item still has not arrived. Oh well... live in learn. Never again!

Currently Amazon has a two week shipping delay on all non-essential medical items; we're proud to only be delayed by 3-4 days for items that are not backordered. We are making every effort to be as transparent about estimated shipping and arrival dates as possible. To improve communication about our COVID extended ship time, on April 6 we added a pop-up to make customers aware of COVID-related shipping delays.
