Ordered a Honda remote control because it was a good price. My order # was10-*******, part #*******-ZW9-A02. Since they guaranteed the fit to my motor, I tried calling them, only to get their voice mail. They would call back, maybe 3 hours later or the next day. But then, no helpful information. So I ordered on line the part number that another supplier said I needed. Went to install the control and I then found out that the wire plugs were wrong. Tried called them again but couldn't get through, so I decided the cut the plugs off and connect them directly. Took 3 hours, but I got everything running., I had 1 brown wire from the motor that I couldn't find a wire to connect to. I called Boats.net. Someone called me back 4 hours later. I asked him (supposidly a tech specialist) about this brown wire. He said he didn't have a clue. I should ask a local marine mechanic. I did call a Honda dealer, but they wanted to sell me a whole new remote.
Purchased parts10 days ago, order still not recieved. Customer service department will not return calls or emails. Waiting over an hour on the, left a message to no avail. Called serval times and lines were full, left extensive emails to cancel order because of the delay, still no calls. Terrible customer service and way they do business, bill the credit card immediately and then failed to deliver product, do not purchase from this company

I ordered parts. After 5 days I still haven't heard if they were shipped. Tried to contact by phone and spent 30 minutes on hold 3 times. No answer. Tried to contact by email. Told that email responses would take 8-10 days. So much for customer service. If I ever get my parts you can bet I'm not going to use this company again..

I have ordered Honda Lawn mower parts from Boats.net on numerous (at least 5) occasions and have been completely satisfied every time. They always have the lowest prices and shipping has been timely. I can't comment on the boating side of things, but they sure do a good job with Honda parts!

Cindy in customer service and George in tech/parts dept support were great. They helped me get somethings straightened out on my order. I ordered some parts that said they would ship in 3 to 5 days but got a email a few days later telling me they were delayed till August 14th. I called back and had them ship what they had in stock and partial shipments usually have a extra cost of $7.95 but they waved that cost and got my orders shipped out the next day. I called back to find out why I was charged a shipping fee of $9.95 per order and they were kind enough to explain it to me why the change but they saw my order had been already addressed by Cindy and saw that I called and canceled my 3 parts that were not coming till August and they were gracious enough to not charge me the shipping fees and refunded me the cost of the shipping and the parts I canceled. I can't say enough good things about the way an Old man got treated and George was a great help in the tech dept - I was ordering everything I needed to turn a pull start motor to a electric start motor and was concerned I didn't have the right flywheel and was ordering one. But George) (George of the Jungle he goes by) helped me understand the flywheel I have will work fine and no need to spend more money. That is customer service - They could have been rude (but they were not)and explained everything and made it right and George saved me a lot of money he could have just said buy one (But he didn't and that I appreciated) So I read the other reviews but that was not my experience. I will continue to do business with This Company and will recommend to other friends in the Boating world to do the same - they were Great. Thanks Cindy and George for all your help. Do not do not buy anything from this business. The customer service is anything but helpful and the time it takes for them to send your product out is ridiculous! I've never seen such a poor way to treat customers that are trying to support your business. So the best thing for you to do is move on past this website and order what you need elsewhere!

I have been out of business since covid 19 I work on the water. I have ordered parts from this company a month ago. They took my payment and I still have not seen my parts so I can get back trying to make a living. I could have walk it from there place to mine 20 days sooner. Will never buy anything from this company again. Buyers beware. If you try to call they put you on a waiting call list and when you get down to 5 they cut you off so you have to start again at call 94 piss me off.

When I ordered on may 6th the site said in stock then after a couple of days one part was not in stock so instead of shipping the part they say was in stock they wait until the other part comes in, now here it is 3 days after the part was supposed to be there I have not heard anything I dont believe for an instance it has anything to due with covid unless your whole staff is infected and if that is the case should you still be selling products and spreading it. Get off your duff and send my order or give me a reasonable reason as to why it takes 24 days to ship something you said was in stock when i ordered it.
They currently can't get parts from China. They say they are in stock, but are not. I called several times and was always around 190 in waiting line. They don't respond to emails because they know they can't deliver. DON"T ORDER PARTS HERE> I can't even cancel my order. Thanks for taking everyone's money.
Paid for faster shipping. Emailed them to cancel, they sent me a tracking number. That number shoes it was never delivered to UPS, just a label was printer. BAD PEOPLE. RUN AWAY

Well, first I ordered parts that according to the website were all in stock. Then got an e-mail saying it would 7 days until one part was available, so I waited an extra week. Then the order sat at BOATS.NET for an additional 8 days before it was shipped. It's been over three weeks and I still don't have the parts. Sent two e-mails, none were returned. So I wait, but I will never use them again! BTW, I found all the parts IN STOCK and cheaper with faster shipping on a different website.

Ordered a few parts, paid extra for faster shipping. Immediately received an email stating pandemic is slowing things down, understandable. Took 5 days to ship. Got around to installing the parts and one was bad, sent an email that took a week to get a response on, but was positive, they were going to ship out another. 15 days later, I received notification it has shipped. So, I ordered the parts to get on the water, a month later I am no closer. No issues with customer service, issue is with time. A month says they are completely overwhelmed or they are selling what they don't have in stock.
