When I'm ordering parts, I need to know the parts are coming so when I tell my customer the parts were in stock, I can give a timeline when his boat will be done. Only to find out the in stock part(s) aren't always in stock. Recently I even called in to make sure the parts were there, only to find out what I was told wasn't the truth.

I purchased a bolt ($20 including shipping), that is no longer available. According to Sea Ray and to Boats.net website, they had the needed bolt. However the only picture of the bolt was the part number on the package but not a photo of the bolt. I received the bolt and it was not the right one. It was the bolt that Boats.net said was the right one but they were mistaken. I contacted customer service to get a return authorization and they wanted to verify my engine number. I sent that to the and have not heard anything back. I am still wanting to return the improper bolt but all I get is CRICKETS! Not very happy with their way of doing business. I would suggest anyone needing a part especially an obsolete part to check eBay first and exhaust every other option before doing business with these Clowns. I would give them a ZERO but that was not an option. Don't expect customer service to return your email beyond them asking for your engine serial number. Horrible Business Model!
I had to order a Yamaha fuel pump. Their diagrams were very detailed, The price was competitive, and was received 3 days before anticipated shipping date.

My item that was ordered from Boats.net never arrived. They sent it via a shipper that uses UPS for the main transportation and then USPS for actual delivery. From this experience and other ones in the past, this is not reliable. My package showed out for delivery and then wasn't delivered, nor have then been any subsequent attempts at delivery. Now UPSP does not even show the package being in their possession. Boats.net should select a reliable shipper, not one of these hybrid situations. I will reorder the needed part from a different vendor that ships either through UPS or FedEx.
I like to see the exploded view diagram so I can get the correct part.
