Saw an ad on Facebook, and ordered two products.
One: a hat with LED lights. If I'd done any research, which I usually do - I would have found the product on Amazon (a reputable site) for half the price.
Also ordered two Bluetooth Shower speakers. Neither of them will charge, and so they are basically useless. Absolutely NO response from several customer service inquiries.
Stay AWAY from this retailer.
I ordered 2 wireless Bluetooth speakers for Christmas presents and they were suppose to ship in 5-7 business days. On December 23rd I had not received them so I emailed them twice saying I wanted to cancel my order immediately, no response from them. The items arrived on Dec 24th! One worked and one didn't! Then I finally received an email from them on Jan 6th stating they had looked into it and my order had been delivered. I then responded back that one of the speakers doesn't work. It's now the 11th and I still haven't heard a thing! I did receive an email asking me to take survey! Bad mistake on their part, I gave them horrible ratings. I plan to notify PayPal, file a claim and try to recoup some of my money. I can't believe this company was on FB and that all of us were scammed! All around the same time too! Never again!
So a while ago I purchased a back bike light for my bike and it took a while to get here and I didn't trust boardwalkbuy I put it on my bike and at first it didn't even fit but somehow I got it to work I dropped it once and not even from a big height and it stopped working because I'm trying to use the right now with different batteries and it didn't even work so yeah this place sucks I wouldn't recommend anything from it and it may seem like I'm being harsh but it's true ask anyone that has bought an item from there
Everyone is getting scammed please even if you didn't use pay pal call them let them know about boardwalk buy how they are scamming this will hurt them let the post master and the better business call the feds but call pay pal it will be a heavy blow to them
I am having the same exact problem. I want to return an item that doesn't work. They offer to fix it through the Facebook Messenger app, but I told them I don't want that. I want a refund. They are not responding now at all. I am so frustrated and just want my money back. They won't tell me how to do that and get a refund. This is so unprofessional and not good business!
They have no means to contact them but through Facebook messenger which after sending messages through it for 2 weeks now has been turned off. Email messages only return a computer generated response and it's not helpful. I don't want a 10% discount on my next order as I will NEVER EVER order from this company again.
I want to return a product that I purchased as a Christmas gift that doesn't work. Such a disappointment that noone can provide me with a return address for this company so I can send the product back even if I have to pay the shipping... I don't know where to send it and boardwalk buy is not responding to tell me.
This is a heads up. Be careful when you order from Boardwalk Buy. I ordered some items as Christmas gifts and as as of today I still have not received them. They said that I would get a full refund if I returned the items, but I have to have them to return them. I ordered these items Dec 1. The contact number is no longer in service and the only communication I have is through emails and their replies are very irregular and are standard responses.
I urge everyone to please read the reviews and comments of companies that appear on Facebook.
Scam! Never received my order... TrI'd contacting them several times and they never sent a reply... Never! Buyer beware!
I placed my order on December 4 for two items intended for Christmas gifts. After several attempts to reach them via IM (the only way to contact them) all I received was an auto-reply saying that they would get back t me in 24-48 hours. Needles to say, they never did. Finally, yesterday January 8 the package finally arrived. And within an hour I got an IM stating that they were sorry for the delay, but that they could see that my order had been delivered. Oh, and they offered me, by way of "apology" a 10% discount on my next order. Yeah right! Once bitten... never again!
Ordered in December and didn't receive my items when 4-5 shipping days advertised. On December 27th I contacted them to cancel the order since holidays were over. They said my order was in transit. Order still not received Jan 4. Emailed 3x, no response. Contacted Paypal and escalated to a claim, 2 days later $#*!ty products showed up that have shipping label from Jan 5th. Everything they told me was a lie, and shipped products after I told them to cancel. Better Business Bureau has over 450 complaints about this company. Save yourself the trouble and buy off amazon.
I ordered products Dec11,2016. They charged me the same day yet I'm still waiting for items. I wrote twice they responded once, apologizing with a 10% discount on next purchase. Wrote again and they never responded. Now I have filed a dispute but have again heard nothing. Terrible way for a company to make money!
I purchased my product on 11/28/16. Today is 1/9/17. I have not received my product yet. I have wrote to customer service 6 times. 4 of the times, I got an instant message to give them my order number and they will look into it. They have contacted me once, to let me know they are looking into it. Still no response.
Charged credit card didn't send merchandise $90 down the drain. I can not deal with them. Lets God to take care.
If you need your purchase within 5 weeks or less, AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! I'm pretty sure the only reason I got my purchase at all was because I initiated a dispute with their so called "guarantee" program to request a refund. Then, magically, something that had been sitting in a warehouse in China for a month somehow managed to make its way to the United States in a matter of days. By this time I had already given up and ordered another item from a different company, so all I wanted was a refund. BUT, in order to get a refund, I was told that I'd have to pay the return shipping to send the item back to them before they would process a refund. There is no way I'm paying 2 shipping charges to get a refund. So I guess I'm just stuck with the stupid thing. AVOID, BEWARE, LOOK ELSEWHERE!
On November 2,2016 I ordered two inflatable reindeer games for toddlers. I truly thought I would receive them by December 2,2016 for an extended family Christmas get together. I was anticipating 10 toddlers to attend our gathering.
Well, no luck. Never received an answer to my emails. There's no phone listed to contact customer service and I seriously doubt they even have a customer service department.
Today is January 5,2017 and I just received the games. A bit late for the holidays. No apology note enclosed, never an email. I'm so mad that I want to warn other good people to NEVER EVER ORDER FROM BOARDWALK BUY. THE DEALS MAY LOOK FABULOUS, BUT GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR ORDER. THEY ARE A SHAM!
They totally stole my money and I did not get any merchandise. I ordered in November 2016 and as of today nothing has been sent. I emailed them five times and no response.
I returned my purchase last Friday, and today (just 4 days later!) I got my refund. Can't ask for more than that!
I also have been ripped off by BoardwalkBuy. Quick to withdraw your money but no merchandise shipped. Has anyone ever recieved merchandise from this company?
Placed a Christmas order in early December, funds withdrawn right away. Contacted them in mid December since I never received. Claimed it was on back order and would be shipped next week. On 12/19 emailed them to cancel the order since it was a Christmas gift and would not be here by Christmas. 12 days later, on 12/31 received a reply that they cannot cancel since the order is in "process". Never received an email after the odor was initially placed, that the items were on backorder. Never order from this place. What a scam.
Why are you still posting items to buy when you are a SCAM COMPANY?
My credit card was charged the very day I ordered in mid Nov. Never received the merchandise and have not been able to contact anyone to help me get my money back (over $100). If I had read the reviews first, I would never had ordered from this place! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY--A COMPLETE FRAUD!
