Ordered a charger for my phone. Ad said it was in stock and would ship in 24 hours. After placing the order, the confirmation said due to high volume of orders, it would be 2 to 4 weeks to ship. When I emailed them, their response was... The item will be shipped as soon as it is available. I sent them another email two days later stating... Your website still says the item is in stock and will ship in 24 hours, you should stop lying to your customers. I have been exchanging email with Edward N. CSR. I have ordered once in the past and had the same issue, but I did finally get my item and its great. We shall see if this item shows up. I would bet they are using our money to purchase the item from their source. They then must wait to receive it from a 3rd party before shipping to the customer. I wouldn't say it is a total scam, but they are very unethical.
I ordered a "leather" purse. The "vinyl" purse arrived two months later reeking of dead fish! No kidding! I put it in a plastic bag on my porch and contacted them. They are sorry I am "dissatisfied" and offered me 15% off my next purchase! As if I would EVER purchase from them again! Garbage day is tomorrow and the purse will be in it!
I purchased a straightening hairbrush. While I did receive my order in a timely manner, the brush itself would not turn on and it arrived with someone else's hair in the bristles. Totally disgusting and unhygenic. I requested a refund by facebook message and email. It took a month to garner a response from the business and their offer of a refund was totally ridiculous. My options were to foot the bill to ship back their product or keep a defective item for 20% off. This business is a total scam and they need to be exposed.
Never buy anything from this company. The items I received were broken, the return shipping is more than my refund. Their customer service is garbage also.
I made a purchase -- just a small one, but one day after purchase, they lowered the price. Right away I e-mailed them asking for the price difference. Today, weeks later, I received a response simply stating "price increase." What? The price was lowered one day after I purchased. I thought I was entitled to a refund of the difference. They are indeed hardup in the customer service area.
Purchased devices of the same type, two arrived faulty, remaining two became inoperative several days afterwards. Contacted the customer services, and received various responses, e.g. could not trace order, provide photographic evidence, apologising for delay in delivery! - all time delaying, avoidance excuses. Would advise other potential customers "buyers beware".
I ordered an item for Christmas on December 2nd figuring it would arrive in time. After three weeks, I tried to notify them via messenger. It take 2-3 weeks for them even to reply with a BS answer requesting further info. I filed a complaint with PayPal and eventually got my item Jan 20th. Today I received a request from Boardwalk Buy requesting further info to find my order. These people have No Clue as to what is going on!
A MONTH ago I ordered 3 items---two arrived in a somewhat timely manner. The third has NEVER arrived, but they took my money. I have made 3 separate attempts to messenger their customer contact center-no response, no refund, no explanation, no contact of any kind. I will NEVER order from this site again. Please beware if you do order--they will steal your money eagerly, and then you don't exist to them! If I had option to rate them ZERO, I would.
I ordered 4 items and never received them. I ordered in November and 30 days later I contacted them for a status and was told it was back ordered. Not once did I receive notification of this or was told when purchased. Then I was told they would send in about a week, never sent. I was also never notified with a shipping email. Then it took several weeks and emails to get them to respond for them to tell me my items were sent and it was my problem. Money wasted and I will advise everyone NOT to use this company!
Phone numbers they post on the internet are not even in service. Like lots of others, I also filled a claim with PayPal. Never received any of the 7 items I ordered from them. My next step is the police to investigate.
Ordered an adapter for an iPhone, after 3 weeks they were not replying to my emails so I requested a refund via PayPal. Within minutes of doing that I received an email saying I would have my order in a weeks time.
It came.
It's rubbish & doesn't work.

Numerous people including myself have not received our orders, plus no reply to emails sent over 2 weeks, no contact telephone number. Reported my transaction to PAYPAL hopefully i'll get my money back.
Boardwalk Buy and BoardwalkBuy is a SCAM, DO NOT BUY
Currently going through a PayPal dispute for return of my money because they won't send me what I ordered. Was supposed to ship in 24 hours. Two weeks later and they still haven't shipped. Keep your money and buy from a reliable source. Thank goodness for PayPal!
I've been emailing this seller for weeks asking about a status of my order, tracking number, etc. Zero response. Luckily I paid via PayPal. I'm in the middle of a PayPal dispute, which will hopefully result in a refund of my money. Stay away from this seller! They appear to be a scam.
Very disappointed. Recieved the wrong order. Has to show proof which I did. Was promised the correct order would be shipped out immediately. And 3 weeks later after my event I recieved my correct order. Refused original refund and then sends them out weeks later is just a waste of my money. I had to find my item in the store before my event which ended up in double cost! No one to talk too! All done via email. I will never order from this company again. 7 weeks for the wrong order is unexceptable!
I'm pretty confident I won't be receiving my order placed on Jan 6th, based on all the lousy reviews. I'm usually pretty good about checking on companies. Shame on me.
This company is awful. It took a month and a half to get my order - they would not respond until I contacted the BBB. Then the product they sent was crap and not as depicted. They say I have to pay to return it - not worth it. Will NEVER waste my money on this crap company again.
I bought a Galaxy 7 wireless charger. The shipment wasn't done ontime, I tried to cancel the order. They would not cancel it. Then, when I did recieve it, it doesn't consistently, so I have tried to rerurn. I sent 2 emals to them and have not gotten a response. Terrible customer service. Terrible product. Warning: They are a ripoff.
The reviews for this company are true. Please read them, I wish I had! Products are crap! You will not receive your purchase in a timely manner. Customer service, horrible!
