What an awful policy

How can bluffly have such an awful return policy and stay in business? I am livid that I cannot return my orders, one of which is within 21 days of shipping, and I am going to write yelp review after yelp review telling people never to use this service. I have just told my coworkers about how horrible it is too.

I have ordered from them twice now and the first time i returned an item it was no problem at all. The customer service reps are friendly and made sure to make my call a priority. The second item i received is outstanding. It is a beautiful watch, brand new, and bought at such a great price. Can't compete with these guys. The shipping was fast and they kept me up to date on my package from the time it left, to the time it arrived. I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.

Bluefly recently sent me used Burberry bag, and won't let me return. Emailed customer service but they never respond. I can't believe this company can stay in business in USA. Which most of companies' priority is customer satisfaction... I am speechless. I personally won't recommend this site to friends and families. How rude they don't even reply to your email?

I bought a Burberry belt on the website. When it was still in processing, I changed my mind wanted to cancel this order. The customer service told me they can not do anything for this after I submitted. Fine, but why my belt was sent to a wrong place. I am in Canada but the belt was sent to Kentucky. I checked the package status, it is said already delivered. I checked the shipping address, it is correct. I sent an e-mail to the customer service and no one replies. So this it? I spent $360 buckets and my belt sent to another place? At least send the belt to Canada, delivered to Kentucky? Still in US? Are you kidding me?

Great price for Tod's Flats

I just received a very pretty pair of Tod's flats from Bluefly. They look much better in person than on the website. These very pretty flats retail for $500 and I paid $200. For this reason, I am giving Bluefly 5 stars. They are authentic. They arrived as expected and the website was easy to navigate. One caveat... I was expecting free shipping but I'm not going to quibble over $8.

I see all the negative reviews for these kind of websites (Bluefly, Gilt, etc). A few things I learned over the years...

*Do not buy clothing online unless it's from a department store website or it's cheap (under $100). If you buy online at Saks, Bloomingdales, or even Gap you always have the option of returning it in the store. The clothing I've purchased at online discount retailers have been of average quality and I've learned I would rather just go shopping at the mall. At least then I have a chance to see the clothing piece first, the exception being if you already saw this piece in person and now it's discounted (most likely because it was last season).

*Purchase brands you know and have seen in the retail stores.

*Do not buy vintage (aka second) expensive designer brands online. Only buy from trusted local consignment shops. These websites may think it's in "good condition" and you may think otherwise. Plus, there may be issues with authenticity.

*Do not buy expensive designer handbags (over $1,000) at an online discount site. Most of these websites have a no return policy and it's simply not worth the risk. It's better just to "splurge" and buy at the authorize retailer or boutique.

*I believe they may be receiving their inventory or acting as a middle person for an authorized retailer. For whatever reason, these retailers do not want to place these items on their sales floor (item was returned, overstock, last season, etc). Think Nordstrom's Rack or Off 5th, only online and non-returnable. There is a reason these designer items are discounted... you may want to keep that in mind while shopping.

If you know how to shop, sites like Bluefly are great.

I ordered a pair of Gucci on 7/10/2015. Received them fairly quickly, but immediately initiated a return since the wrong size was sent. I ordered a 41 and they sent a 39.5 (my toe cant even fit a 9.5). The shoes were Gucci ballerina w/ Guccissimma embossment on the website, but I received patent leather / no Guccissimma - so I took a pic - good thing I did. They refused my return because the Warehouse said they were worn. How on earth can THAT be when I immediately initiated a return and sent them back the next day. One shoe was taken out of the box - the other was left in with tissue paper. Oh - maybe I wore one shoe! Ridiculous. At any rate, I called Cust Svc, emailed the pic I took of the shoes and the box and they agreed to a refund. It's now 9/9/2015 and I still haven't received my $150. I've spoken with Customer Service twice who both insisted that the refund had been processed and should be dropping in my acct within 7 to 10 biz days. It's been 2 months.

AWFUL

Have ordered thousands of dollars of merchandise from this company over the years. Recently ordered a tote for my daughter and discovered the next morning that the order had been duplicated and was incorrect. I called very early to ask that the duplicate order be cancelled and was told it was too late - just send the duplicate order back they said. After seven phone calls, two emails and multiple assurances that they would send a return merchant authorization, I have received NOTHING. Was told that a supervisor would be calling - no call. I will not be doing business with this company again - EVER.

Deceptive practices

I ordered a sweater and the quality is poor and very thin "Cashmere". Tried to return as it clearly states on my receipt - "We hope you're happy with your purchase but in the event you need to return an item, you may send the item in its original, unused condition (including all original packaging and tags) within the specified return days noted in the details section of the product detail page. Bluefly offers fast and easy online returns. Click here for additional information on how to make a return."
Now, they have changed their web page and it says "no returns". Well I purchased when it clearly said they accepted returns.

Fake celine bag?

I purchased celine taupe edge bag. Luxury bag for the first time in my life! I was very excited.
But, when the bag arrived I had to question the authenticity of thd product.
Because the detail posted on the internet and the real product that i received were different.
In details(which were written on the website) it saids logo stamp on the front - which all AUTHENTIC celine bags M! U! S! T! have - but my bag did not have a logo on it. After that I doubted the authentity of this product so I went to the website again and looked at the photo closely that was posted and in the picture there was no celine logo on it!
I know that according to bluefly's 'policy' final sale items are not refundable. BUT, if they have sent a product with a huge defect, I believe a company like bluefly should act flexibly.
So I emailed them 5 times, called 6 times and almost a week has passed but nothing was in progress.
I am really disappointed with this experience with bluefly. Today I couldn't wait for the email reply so I calles them again. Finally, the costumer service told me that they are going to review on my main concern about the logo...

This is first time in my life I am writing a review. I wish I knew about sitejabber before I made purchase from bluefly. Same thing happened to me as Fion L. I purchased designer handbag paying around $1700 and when I received it I notice the description was wrong and also had defect.

So i contacted customer service several times and also provide the pictures to proof then wait for there long response. I didn't think it would be a problem cause it was so ovbious the descripition was wrong and had defect.

Finally when i hear from them I could not believe they deny my return cause color looks like goldtone as they describe on the web when it's shiny silver. I wrote them back and ask them if anyone looked at the real bag and can tell me it looks like goldtone but no reponse at all.

I am stuck with $1700 bag which is not the bag I thought I was getting and I can not even resale cause it also has defect.

Bluefly has worst customer service ever and it makes worse cause they are selling expensive item so it's not the amount we can just swallow and forget about it.

It only initially tells you that it ships out in 2 days, not that it will take 5-9 business days. Not a huge deal but you can't cancel orders and they charge you for returns if you don't do it their way in their time. Well their estimated time on my one pair of socks exceeds the amount they originally stated.

Don't waste your time and money on this site. Shop at Amazon or Ebay. The policies are real, clearly stated, and fair.

I bought several dresses and was ready to return what didn't work the same day I received the merchandise so I would meet their return policy of 14 - 21 days because you need to make sure you add in the number of days it may take to be received at the warehouse. They would not let me return 13 items that didn't work until they shipped the last 2 dresses - which is 4 days later and the 2 remaining dresses still have not been shipped. This is ridiculous!

I recently order three items from Bluefly.com. All three items were shipped separately (one of which took over a month to arrive). One of the items NEVER arrived. So I call their customer service number and was left on hold for 20 minutes. After 20 min I gave up and sent them an email. After several days I received an automated response that they were processing my complaint... and then nothing, for TWO weeks! I tried calling them again and someone actually picked up the damn phone! Huzzah! However, after getting jerked around for 30 minutes I got nowhere. I had ordered the three items using a prepaid gift card. Around two weeks after I placed the order, the card having been emptied I threw it away. So after the 30min customer service circle jerk they tell me that the item that never showed up is now SOLD OUT. They also said that they cannot give me store credit, they can only refund the money... to the prepaid gift card that is now at the bottom of a garbage dump. So thanks for nothing bluefly. I am never giving your company my business again and I advise anyone reading this to take your money elsewhere. At the end of this ordeal I am left wondering whether the 'sold out' item (which is still up on their website) ever even existed in the first place.

Designer rip offs

Bluefly is supposed to sell high-quality, designer items, but they are among the worst for returns and customer service. In one instance, an item I ordered and paid for did not ship for over a month. When I asked for a refund, they said I would have a store credit on my account. I never received the store credit months later. The website tries to scam you out of money for products you never receive. Also, they have the slowest shipping.

I order a pair of gucci flats and they were delivered to the wrong house and then when I finally got the shoes they were rachel zoe boots. When i called bluffly they told me the shoes were sold out and i could no longer get them. Now i am stuck with the wrong shoes that i now have to return.

I got an email from shop style claiming there is a sale on a suit being sold on bluefly, however when I went on their website they had a higher price advertised. Then I called bluefly and they told me they are no longer "affiliated" with shop style and so they cannot honor the price listed in the email I received. Very poor customer service.
This company should know there are legal implications for sending people false prices

I have recently purchased an expensive designer handbag from Bluefly.com as a final sale item. However, the handbag was defected when I open the box. I have contacted their customer service many times and trying to get it returned, but they don't take it back for return! I understand the final sale item is not returnable but that doesn't mean you can sell customers with defected product especially when it's over $2200!

Poor customer service & Poor qualify of their product!
