Blinds.com fixed my mistake and replaced my blinds. The process was so much easier than i anticipated! Very easy to order!
I had, what I consider to be, a larger order - outfitted a whole house; 16 sets of blinds that ranged in size from a small kitchen window to sets that were nearly 6' x 8'.
Ordering was easy enough and the blinds shipped in a timely manner. Installation instruction were just ok- not impossible to figure out but certainly not the easiest. Instructions are also generic- they are not specific to the blinds you get - so parts may or may not be relevant.
We got most of the blinds installed without too much issue - it certainly got easier with each subsequent set. Where we had problems is one set, a top down/bottom up style, where the string was not properly retracting and would loop and sag. I called customer service and talked with a gal who was super nice - but when I tried to explain what was happening, she didn't understand and when she looked up photos of the product- it didn't show any strings in the pictures. I sent in photos of my product and tried to do a video as well- she said she would forward the concern up the chain and I should hear back. I never did. Fortunately, the product seemed to correct itself -- though all the blinds of that type will have that problem with the string retracting off and on -- overall making the shades not function as well as I would have hoped.
I ended up getting the shades during one of their sales, so at the time, was a good deal. I am not happy that the shades had these strings that show - none of their pictures show them. It makes sense that they are there but I believe they are being deceptive about how the shades operate and what the look will be. The strings are not that pleasant to look at - but they are just strings so it's doable.
The customer service person was nice -- so no fault there, but if I am told that I would be hearing back, I want some follow through.
In general, when it comes time to replace the shades (and I'm not going to expect a long life span from them) I will not be buying from blinds.com again.
The salesman Chris B. Should have advised me that cellular block out shades mounted externally will not block out light. How could he not know that since he said he's been selling for years? Now the two street lights shine in my bedroom every night and the morning sun comes in through the large gap around the sides of the shades. I bought at least eight block out cellular shades with external mounting. Anybody buys block out shades to block out the light yet I wasn't advised that external mounting means that the light will not be blocked out. This is the most simple way to have helped me and yet it wasn't done.
My order was received, both blinds were bent at bottoms.

I had recently placed an order for 12 motorized blinds. All the blinds fit properly unfortunately one of the blind motors was defective. It's been almost two months with at least three calls to customer service asking the same questions over and over again. The blind is stuck now in the down position, and they still have not given me a straight answer on when I will be receiving a replacement as the factory in Vietnam is giving them a hard time on the warranty.
Easy to use website, lots of information because of the different choices of blinds. No issues to report, it was super easy to install. No need for handyman it was all DIY.
SITE IS CONFUSING - CHAT IS INTERMINABLY SLOW - but got it done. There must be an option for certain people, such as us, who have special windows to keep getting pull strings. We have no kids around. ONE SOLUTION DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYBODY.

I'm replacing all the blinds in my house as they fail with the 2" Faux Wood Blinds. We have a large house so this is going to be a lengthy period of purchases. So far the blinds have been great and so much lighter than the real wood ones that the previous owners put up.
I love that I can go to my account and see the previous orders. The lady that helped me with my sign on was wonderful. Her name was Chasity. The blinds are perfect too. I am replacing my old blinds one at a time as they break with the faux wood blinds. They are much lighter but look like wood. They are wonderful!

Installation instructions and video were not great; especially not for $700 blinds (although I paid $571 w/ a discount). The plastic pieces seem cheap; again, especially for $700 blinds. Upon installation, a piece of the plastic clip affixed to the blind (i.e. Only one; no extras) broke.
The blind looks nice; I do like the fabric, pattern, aesthetic, but for $700, Im unable to say its worth the cost.

Answer: They are legit only their service is very poor and be cautious about their satisfaction warranty as it is not what it appears. You will be strung along on all custom orders.

Answer: I had same question with customer service, they said the labels are created when they go on production lines and can only tracked once they enter USA and was able to track as they said. I also ordered few economy blinds which are made in China for those blinds I was able to track all the way from China from the time they despatched. I reckon FEDEX has some technical limitations in turkey.
