Plan on PLUNTY of time for your order to be made and shipped. Also parts necessary to install or function properly may be missing and require additional time to receive them.

Placed order on Nov 11th... Dec 3rd and still no package. UPS tried to deliver but wanted $230 dollars extra shipping, even though the order/receipt clearly said Free Shipping ($0). Blinds.com said they would notify UPS immediately to attempt a new delivery. They didn't and now the package was shipped all the way back across the US to (CA to DE). Only to have Blinds.com reject the package. What a mess...and so much for Carbon Footprint. Can't wait to see the condition of the package when (if it ever arrives). This shipment has 41 tracking updates. It was 6 blinds coming to a single address. Have been on hold for 30 minutes trying to resolve. Don't bother with LIVE CHAT...it's another 30 mins before someone responds.

Filtering for an up-down blind wide enough to fit our 81" wide window without the product automatically being split into two was a bit of a challenge but in the end, I managed to find the "Light Filtering Single Cell Cellular Shades" which come in widths over 80". We basically keep the blinds covering the lower third of the window to get more privacy from the street. The light filtering fabric allows plenty of light through which is great for a living room.
I had a very simple experience in using the Blind.com website, which was great! I was able to move efficiently and effectively through this purchase, as if I had shopped here before! Great stuff!

I got wonderful help from Yaya. She guided me with colors and asked good questions as to what I wanted and needed in a shade. I placed the order that morning. When the blinds came there were easy to understand instructions and I put them up in 20 minutes. Love them!
Easy to use site. Product came fast and was a quality product. Easy to install. I had them installed in half the time I thought.
Ordering was easy. The blinds are very nice and the color was what I expected. A minor problem was when the blinds anew pulled up to the top, one side is a little longer than the other side but not enough to really notice.
Once I found a company that had my color & a chain for raising and lowering, it was easy.
Hangers were very difficult to use.

Paul C was very helpful. The blinds are shipped from China so having an American base is very helpful. Amazon attempts to set up communication directly with China. Blinds. Com answers right away and helps with designing the order.
Unless you can speak Chinese I would stick with Americans at Blonds. Com!
All of my blinds are about an inch too short. I want them to rest on the bottom, but the strings are slightly too short so they don't rest on the bottom of the window casing.
Wish the directions were a little clearer. Now I see a gap between the mounting rail and blinds.
Also could have used someone to help me.

I had a lot of trouble getting this order to go through. I finally called and talked with someone. That still didn't work, so I went back to ordering and it finally worked.
We have ordered from here before, several times, and did not have any issues.
This is my second time ordering. I selected a different brand because their sample swatches were a great fit for the bedrooms. Very substantial fabric. These are blackout and they do a great job. Also, you did an amazing job with measurements.The fit is fantastic. There is very little gap at the edge of the window.
Made by Hunter Douglas, "My Blinds" uses a button-operated retraction that helps the blind go up fast. ( It almost feels self-propelled.) My concern is the second shade I purchased does not retract with as much power. I have to help it to the top of the window. Should I be concerned? Can the tension in the string system be tightened?

This is far better than doing this at a store. I am able to take as much time as I need with color, taking measurements, deciding on options. For this particular purchase, I changed my mind at the last minute and now have a new plan to rearrange the whole room. Thank you!
Answer: They are legit only their service is very poor and be cautious about their satisfaction warranty as it is not what it appears. You will be strung along on all custom orders.

Answer: I had same question with customer service, they said the labels are created when they go on production lines and can only tracked once they enter USA and was able to track as they said. I also ordered few economy blinds which are made in China for those blinds I was able to track all the way from China from the time they despatched. I reckon FEDEX has some technical limitations in turkey.
