DO NOT USE THEIR BLINDS INSTALLATION SERVICES.

AARON (father) and JACK (his son) are thieves.

Jack a 20ish young man was welcomed into our home this early 2023 to install our blinds, from BLINDS.COM and while he was installing 24 blinds, he stole 5-6 boxes of 50 bullets from a case we had opened in our master's bedroom dresser, on the very opposite wall from the windows so he was snooping.

I felt violated, disrespected, unsafe, and very angry after this ordeal. BLINDS.COM and HOMEDEPOT just never did anything about this. This father and son from BLINDS.COM contracted by HOMEDEPOT are still in Oklahoma going in freely in your lovely houses looking to steal from you.

Yes reported to the cops, got a report number but what else? Nothing...

Please DO NOT LET ANYONE from Blinds.com blinds installers come into your lovely home they are not to be trusted!

The father and son both work at HOME DEPOT in Oklahoma. I do not know which one hence why I'm writing this review in every location to warn good hard working folks to watch out! They service our home in Edmond. Their names are AARON and the thief is JACK his 20ish yo son. He will come into your house with his backpack and a very big trash bag, and will steal from you.

Horrible service

After the instal one of the blinds they installed was not tracked evenly. I called the company and they said fix it yourself. Watch a video. They don't come back to fix their mistakes. They take you money and don't stand by their mistakes! Now my blonde are an inch off. Sides aren't even. I called five times and tried to get them to come back. I would not recommend them. Thru promise they will do everything until you pay.

Followed measuring instructions and they were pretty easy for my hubby and I to install. Once we had one done and we knew what we were doing, the other two went up in half the time. Very pleased with how they look and function.

B/c the customer service people were professional and kind I gave blinds.com 3 stars... but the quality/condition of the fabric has proven to be poor -- or, more seriously, the possibility that they masked known blemishes that came to light over time.

After significant delays due to items being back-order the blinds finally arrived. Installation was fine.

My main issue however is the low quality of the fabric -- or that in conjunction with the design of the hanger system. Mysterious blotchy discoloration on the fabric began to develop shortly before the 3 year warranty -- but, my mistake... not enough to ask the company for help. Now, however, after the warranty has expired these blotches have grown from small pin-prick size to dime-sized. In looking at it closely it seems as if blemishes in the fabric had been covered and only after time the blotches started bleeding through.

These were a large purchase for us and I find it disappointing that they were of such poor quality to now need to be replaced closely after the warranty -- Note to self: I should have reached out when the blemishes were still tiny even though at that time they did not bother us.

I'm not mad -- just disappointed. I encourage others to watch for discoloration and act when you see it.

When trying to reorder another blind of the same type, it was difficult in the previous order chain of emails to find the color and cell size clearly listed somewhere in the emails. You might say, why didn't you create an account? Well, I have enough accounts to keep track of and don't want more. Agreed though, having an account might have helped. Also, it could easily have helped to have those two pieces of information in the confirmation email.

If you have a tight measurement situation with your window covering needs, I hope you get lucky. I did get the promised 1 product remake, but still the window covering I received for my remake is too narrow. They do not provide clear information so you can't know the exact the dimensions of the fabric and the valance before you order. Or at least I wasn't provided it. I called to ask for an exception their remake rule to get one more remake, but of course denied by the service rep. Now I'm stuck with a very expensive window covering that is too narrow. I guess that's what I get for using an online blinds service.

Update 1/9/24:
Blinds.com did reach out and did help get another blind toward my total re-dos. After that I really wanted give a 5 star rating, but I had to learn thru trial and error the real measurements, and with another order I made after learning that, the quality was poor on the valance and the roll up winder couldn't be adjusted like the other exact same blinds I had already purchased.

I placed an order on 11/13/22 and received a portion of my custom order within weeks while the balance remained "In Production" for 13 weeks. Initial delivery was estimated to be in Mid-December and it is now the end of January and only claims to have shipped yesterday because I called to cancel the order. Website still claims it is in production and customer service rep would not email me with the ship confirmation. Not truthful and not honest in their representation of facts. Unless you have unlimited capacity to wait for them, I would steer clear of this organization.

Measure correctly order once

I measured the blinds incorrectly and was looking to make a change before production and feel that canceling the order and reordering the blinds was time consuming to replace the order when I believe there needs to be some point of help making a change to it. I have ordered lots of times and usually everything is spot on. We are in the process of replacing 20 year old vinyl blinds we purchased from blinds.com. The bigger problem now comes when I have to check to make sure all the finances come out correct as well. We are sure the new blinds will enhance our living space as well. Do love the 50 percent off sales.
