Wanted to highlight my incredible experience dealing with Brooke H from customer service. I inquired about changing an item in an order that contained an item that was on a great sale. She said it could not be changed but it could be cancelled and I would be refunded. She told me they can still honor the sale even though it ended as well as the gift card I had used my membership points on. I was reimbursed the original order and then immediately after placing the new order, she refunded me the difference of the sale price. Blade HQ is a great company for knife lovers and those looking to get into cutlery and Brooke H was incredibly helpful and friendly.
Customer service was great she answered me back quickly will be doing more business with them soon

I was working with Jen to return a knife due to a formaldehyde like smell coming from the Micarta scales. I had checked out as a guest, so I wasn't sure how to initiate a return. I placed an order one week before I needed it. It took 2 business days for them to ship it, and I won't have what I need in time. I emailed before the order was packed and by the time customer service got back to me they refused to update shipping, I was willing to pay to upgrade shipping. Now you get to pay to have it returned.

The first knife appeared to have been reground. The edge bevel was to wide and the belly was slightly flattened. All evidence of an amateur regrind attempt. Check your blade edge carefully and measure the length to ensure it meets advertised specifications! Thankfully, BladeHQ quickly sent out a replacement that looks correctly made, thanks BladeHQ!

I know it is very easy to get lost in a sea of emails, and orders.
So when my order hadn't shipped I called,and I happen to have had the good fortune to deal with Melissa. She was very attentive, and proactive at addressing my concerns, and reassuring that she would get to the bottom of it,and rectify any problem I was having with my order. This is how customer service builds a loyal relationship with the customer, and the company. She treated me with dignity, and respect like a person not just another in a long line of sales.I've had negative experiences with other online vendors who could care less wether or not a person is a repeat customer.they usually deliver in blue panel vans.I won't say their name.,but in short mellisa g. Is exemplary example of what a customer service rep should be. I bought a switchblade that was advertised as "Made in Italy," and "made of 440 steel." The knife I received was made in PRC (China), was inferior quality to other AKC knives I own. I find it disappointing that you put a certificate of authenticity in an "Italian" knife box that has PRC stamped on it.
Your customer service staff are polite and responsive. They have a tough job. I ended-up buying an Italian switch blade from Apple Valley Knives.

Bought an otf to use at work had the clip fail due to excessive use. The brand failing is not the fault of the staff and they proved this by doing what they could to make the situation better. Great customer service quick and responsive.

I ordered a knife for my husband for his first Father's Day. While customizing the knife, I could type out everything exactly how I wanted. When it came to check out, it dropped off the apostrophe. I deleted the item and re-did everything multiple times and had a feeling it was the website. So the last time I did it, I screenshot how I wanted it and when at check out it would drop it. I had the screenshots to cover myself. As soon as I placed the order, I called customer service and Zach made a note on my order. When I received the knife almost a week later, it had the mistake. I called and they told me they were only going to refund me $100. I was upset because I provided all the proof that it was not a mistake on my end and they still didn't resolve it or send me a new one. I will not be ordering another knife from them.
Amazing first time experience with this company! Hard to find butterfly knives that are quality made. They have them! Bought one for our son's 15th birthday. He LOVES it and it's already flipping it around all ninja style 🤣 Thank you guys!
