A knife was delivered to me that had been previously opened, all packaging removed, no data sheet, or cleaning cloth provided. When I complained I was given a bull$#*! response that the seller replaced the spring and that's why it was opened. Never buy from crooks.
I reached out for a recommendation between a few knives and a comparison between the steels. They took several days to reach back out to me and when they finally did, the person blew me off. They said essentially said, "Sorry, can't help you. You need to reach out to REDDIT".

My order ended up in Guam somehow according to the tracking. I put in a ticket and the response was to tell me the tracking information which I already knew. Guam is not on the way to Alaska from the East coast.

There was a slight hiccup with my last order. The customer service team replied incredibly quickly and fixed the issue immediately. They were exceptionally kind and generous. It was the best customer service interaction that I have experienced in years. It gives me hope and evidence that true care is not entirely gone in this world. They don't honor their price matching policy. It is clearly written on their site. Lisa Q said "not for Spyderco". Please show me in Blade HQ site "not for Spyderco" product. They offered return, it's too much hassle to pack up and wait in line at the post office; very inconvenient and no different than bad eBay seller: make up own rule as you go. I wish I didn't spent over few thousand $ past this month on this site.

The customer service I received from Brooke H. Was timely and she answered all of the questions I had. Overall it was very easy to ask a question and actually get a response the 1st time and I didn't have to wait a week or send multiple emails. My daughter wanted the newest Donut knife, so I ordered as soon as they went live. All was well until UPS entered the picture. Not a direct BladeHQ issue, but they are your shipper. Knife disappeared within their system (ie: stolen). I contacted Cust Svc, said I had to wait 7 days, ok I get that. In the mean time the knife sold out. So if your order gets lost, stolen or arrives damaged you are SOL! From the comments I read, it looks like this happens often enough but there's no resolve other than saying "sorry". But hey, the knife price is triple on eBay! Not my fault but my only option now. My money is being returned but wasn't even offered a 5% coupon as a consolation for my trouble.

I bought a $30 knife, but it was clearly used, though still perfectly functional, so I just reported the fact that it was used and and got a $25 refund. I've dealt with the customer service before and they have never even been close to disappoint. 10/10
