I ordered tickets to a Golden State Warriors game three weeks before the game was to take place. I received the wrong tickets so I contacted BigStub. Then told me to contact some other company. I emailed that company. No response. I called that company and they said the would look into it and get me the correct tickets and get back to me. After a week of waiting I called back and they put me on hold and then hung up on me.
I emailed BigStub again. No response. I called BigStub and spoke to a woman looked up my order, saw the mistake and said they would procure the proper tickets, though they might not be the same seats. I said that would be fine. She said BigStub would contact me either that day or the next day.
BigStub did not call or email me. After several days of waiting I called again. It was now just a couple of days before the game. I now spoke to a person who said they would probably give me a 200% refund. I said I did not want a refund. My family was expecting to go to the game and I just wanted tickets. He said he would check into this and get back to me.
Again, no contact. Finally, on the day before the event I called BigStub yet again. I was told that they were refunding my money and I would not get the tickets. I said that I just wanted the tickets and was told that I could speak to a supervisor. The person I was speaking to, Liset, said that there were two supervisors and she did not know which one would be taking the call. She transferred me and after about 5 minutes a person picked up who said there was no supervisor and he could not help me.
Every time I use a secondary seller to buy tickets I always worry a little that I could be taken advantage of. At some point i invariably go online and search for reviews of the company. My search always brings up reviews of people who have had numerous problems with the company. I usually write it off as the 10% of the human race that can not cope in today's online world and expect that everything should go their way even though their credit card was declined or they picked the wrong event etc,, That said, it still starts that small voice in my head that says "I hope I didn't get hosed" which is usually there until I'm in the front door of the event. My ticket purchase for July 4th went as planned and although I'm not in the door yet I'm confident it will all be okay.
The purchasing was fast & easy! All went well, we enjoyed a great show at a great price.
I always check the usual sites, Ticketmaster, Ticketnetwork, etc. I find that StubHub usually has better seats for less money... but you have to get there quickly.
Description of the terms was good, possibility to sign as a guest so no need to fill all info if you don't want to.
