I did same day delivery. The store screwed up the order. Delivered 3 of 23 items. Then charged me a 2nd time for delivery because they forgot to load everything. This driver was given the wrong address. I called the store to tell them to contact the drive. No one at the store had his number, which is ridiculous. I literally had to track down my order and found the driver about to leave a house that was not mine. I told him the story and showed him my receipt. He couldn't retrieve the packages off said stranger porch, so I had to basically load them and deliver them to myself. It was a nightmare. They need to have a common sense plan for delivery or just stop doing it. To top it off 2 weeks later my Paypal was charged again for this nightmare. Called customer service and they just kept trying to tell me it was extra sales tax. I had the receipt, which showed I already paid sales tax. Do yourself a favor and skip out on this store.
Their store looks nice now. The renovated. BUT, if I have to pay more for a ginger beer at big lots then at Trader Joe's… it's just not worth it anymore. Big lots used to be the place to go. It anymore
I don't usually write reviews, but I had to say I got the best service at the Simi big lots from king and Angela. When running into Big lots to get a last minute treat for my, they both went up and above to make sure that I was taken care of and made me feel welcome to the store. It's employees like this that make shopping during the holidays such a wonderful experience. Congratulations on hiring two great employees (which we all know is really hard to come by these days). What a horrific experience at one big lots store in particular in Hamilton NJ. Their site claimed to have an item (12) in stock. After traveling an 1 hr to get there no stock at all. Ask cashier for some help. Long story short she decided to walk away bc obviously she did not want to work. Customer were coming in to pick up online orders and were being told they were so busy they did not have time to pull the online orders due coverage on the register. THERE WAS NO LINES AND MAYBE 10 customers in the entire store. What an awful experience. Other big lots I gave have frequented have helpful customer service. Proof is in the pudding!
They don't provide a tracking number when it says order has shipped. They outsource to the Phillapines so they are clueless as to anything more than is what on their screen. One by one they said my item was out of stock after it clearly showed it was in stock at the time. I could have picked it up and now more and more items are out of stock. This is lowsy customer service. Go elsewhere. They are unreliable
I bought two Christmas presents online. It said they were in stock and they charged my credit card. But got two separate emails in the next few days cancelling my order. I am so disappointed and won't be ordering from them again.
I went into the east hills fashion place wallmart last night in bakersfield, ca. And had an exceptional experience!

Broyhill outdoor furniture sold by Big Lots is a disgrace. I spent over $2000 a year and 9 months ago on a complete set and the couch is falling apart on two sides. The store will only offer 20 percent off on a new couch because there is just a one year manufacturer warranty. I am a retired senior and can't afford another new couch. Broyhill was always a trusted brand. What a waste of my money!
I placed an order for 10 items (blanket, 2 solar power outdoor lights, pillow, 2 butterfly dishes, a pool, 2 starter garden kits, wall art) and all were supposedly in stock when I ordered them, only the pillow said one left, and I hurried to order so I wouldn't miss it. All the items except the blow up pool were out of stock and refunded. What kind of company is this? What a garbage system. Like 5 different emails at different times saying items were cancelled, which was also annoying. Send ONE email saying it's cancelled. Terrible company. Big fat thumbs down.
Poor customer service! Package shipped to another location! Says I signed for it and I DID NOT! Call center has no idea what they are talking about and there are no supervisors to talk you. I am so annoyed and frustrated that I will NEVER shop there again.

Bought a recliner from big lots and bought the xtra warranty! Lost recite and now I have nothing, but a piece of big lots trash! Would NOT EVER BUY THIER JUNK AGAIN! Spent thousands!
I ordered several items on the website yesterday. Now I'm being told at least two items are out of stock, yet they still remain on their website for sale. I'm just waiting for the rest of my order to be cancelled. And customer service is a joke. No one responded to my live chat.
Great customer service today. I just went to purchase a couch at the Deland location, and I was helped by Sandy, and she did a fantastic job on helping me with my purchase. She knew exactly what she was doing and she had me out of there in no time. I saved on time and money. I am a happy customer!
In order to submit a part time job application you must enter your SSN on a public site to be considered for part time employment. There is no email address to contact on the website only a phone number that leads nowhere, incredibly unprofessional.
I have shopped at Big Lots for several years and love it as a whole. I would say though I have some favorite stores that I will only go to now because the store is always clean, shelves are stocked, and the customer service is always good. Have bought everything from a bedroom set to a living room set to simple groceries and household items (Broyhill lavender and sandalwood candles are my favorite) and most have lasted for years. Only negative item would have been a dining room set, it didn't last for more than 6 months and the extended warranty on it when I called was almost impossible to navigate and the people were not very helpful with it. Other than that it has been a good experience and we will continue to be a customer for years to come!

Yesterday I went to the store Big Lots store in Kissimmee, And The Manager Aileen and the Associate Justin where great to work with. The store was clean and organized, they where courteous, caring, knowledgeable, helpful, and The Managers Aileen and Justin went out of his way to help me with all questions. I give this store a 20 X and 10 *
I purchased furniture from Big Lots on 6/18/21 with a 3-year warranty plan for$139.99 in addition to the $1400 paid in full.
I have contacted the Warranty company a least eight times, was given the runaround, denied response from Management, and have not been provided an update or refund of any sort. The left arm of the furniture caved in, and the frame is broken; because of that, I cannot utilize that side of the sectional on the side.
I just need a resolution from either the store or the warranty company. Please refund all of my money or replace my sectional.
Answer: Only during business hours and good luck. They all seem very busy and unable to help beyound try the website in a couple of hours if you can't complete your order.
